Not even. The ruling elites in Europe are doubling down on their force-feeding of Muslim immigrants on the indigenous population. The people need to do more than elect talking heads to take care of this. The only thing that will stop it is cessation of mass immigration, repatriation of existing immigrants, and strict border controls.

Europe has been repeatedly invaded by Muslims. This is just the latest salvo in over 1,000 years of history of Europeans having to muster armies to throw out their Muslim occupiers.

The EU is not an ally against terrorism, it's causing it with its open borders, expansionist policy. The removal of national sovereignty has a huge role in these people crossing borders at will.

We in Europe have become accustomed to lots of explosions ever since we became allies of the US.

I think it was the EU preteen was talking about. That the idea we would leave the EU because Belgium was attacked is suggesting it would be better to desert our allies against terrorism - that is intelligence shared within the EU.

 

You are probably correct about the UK leaving the EU. What happens after that to the EU, who knows.

 

Hopefully it will be dissolved by the end of the year and the nations that had been in it will start taking their sovereignty and security seriously and start cracking down on the Islamic violence that plagues them.

 

The unwinding of the EU will take much longer than a year because of the common currency. I really have trouble seeing it go gently into that good night just because the UK leaves it. They can do as they like. Personally, I do not see a fundamental difference between white radicalism, which is what is happening, black radicalism or brown radicalism. Whatever governments do, they need to do responsibly and not as knee-jerk reactions to ensure the least adverse consequences to their citizens.

 

It's not just the terrorist attack or the migrants. There is a lot of friction between the nations in the EU over the sanctions and the loss in jobs, not to mention the demands on the gas pipeline that will bring Russian fuel to Southern Europe. Italy especially was basing it's hopes on it, but Russia stopped it completely because of the EU demands.

These are the nations which will lose out: Italy, Austria, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro and maybe Slovakia and Hungary. Frankly I don't see how the EU can possible survive.

 

There is a belief that the UK leaving will start a domino effect which will result in the destruction of the EU and the countries which leave turning into ethnic nationalist states aligned to Russia which for some reason turns some Americans on.
