Unbelievably Bernie's supporters despite needing 68% of all remaining votes declare with no sense of irony that he is going to win the Democratic nomination.

    HOW?

    Just delusional thinking.

The overwhelming majority will be with Hillary in the fall.

I would suggest to Beat-Nik Bernie, that he should think about moving to Cuba. Fidel Castro has said, "he doesn't have long to live", and that would fit 'Ole Bernie's ideals real good. We all know...some of us that is...know 'Ole Bernie idolized Fidel and used his play book when Bernie sat on all those park benches preaching his "revolution" ideas to those that would listen. "Ole Bernie even copied his "finger" protest wave from Fidel when he was running to take over Cuba. Fidel was acting the same when he ran about making a "revolution" in Cuba back then. So, 'Ole Beat-Nik Bernie head down Cuba way and take over Fidel's headquarters and live happy ever after.

They are in denial. Even worse the bernie supporters will walk in and vote for hillary, the person who bought the election and disenfranchised them.

    'gets to say it'

Well Kasich at least has a chance, if Trump doesn't get a majority which is still a distinct possibility then Kasich could well be the nominee of the Republican congress wheras Bernie has no chance of winning from here

Because they have not been told(or they just didn't listen) that it's Cankle's turn. Stupid liberals, they think their vote actually matters.

If you take a close look at the morons coming out of our schools these days, you would not need to ask 'How?' I doubt they can count their own fingers or toes without a cell phone.

You don't even believe that anymore.

I think there's a very good chance that Bernie will go independent. :)

When you say that, I hear "You kids get off my lawn!!!". Every generation has derided those that came after it. We have several records of the Egyptians denouncing the youth of their day for being amoral and not working hard enough, alongside the Mesopotamians and pretty much every society.

Now, I heavily disagree with Sanders supporters, but it doesn't mean they're morons, it means that we disagree. Simply put, they're ahead of their time; while we can't afford free college now, by the time they're elderly, things like free college will be quite realistic.

It is, of course, foolishly optimistic on their part to think that Sanders will make it, but he's already done his job of pushing Mrs. Clinton to the left on official issues, so he can hardly have been said to have failed.

Edit: If Sanders goes independent and risks the election to Mr. Trump, I'll eat my hat. He isn't nearly that self centered.

I don't think you understand how a two horse race works. She only needs 400 more delegates to win. She will win in states with Black older and moderate voters

She will pick up 200 delegates at least next week, She will take the heavily black/ maryland and the moderate eastern Seaboard The competetion will be over before Sanders next possible big win in California

    Really?

Can you give some more infor on why you think this

    genuinely interested>

And hand the presidency to Trump?

teh superdelegates thing means she actually needs a higher number than half the pledged votes to win. Bernie can say the superdelegates havent actually voted yet (true) and he can still go on because he has a chance to convince them until they actually vote.

I think hillary doesnt really have a chance to win a majority of delegates without the superdelegates. (remember you need a majority of both pledge and superdelegate and for this purpose you cant add the supers till the convention)

He could theoretically win if he dominated the remaining primaries and then got an avalanche of superdelegate endorsements. That's not going to happen, but Sanders supporters think it will.

I was referring to their math skill, or lack thereof. My apologies for not being specific. And it's not so much "get off my lawn" as it was "get out of my office". Can't begin to tell you about the parade of brain-dead college grads that I interviewed for job openings in the Info Systems field.

And college will never be "free". Taxpayers need only to look in the mirror to see who will be paying for it.

I think that is probably more of a rose tinted glasses sort of thing. People are, if anything, slightly more intelligent in general now, if the Flynn effect is true. I think it might just be that people who are poor at math just go into fields where math is required more often now, rather than people being more poor with math in general. The number of morons should be roughly equal, it's just that they're coming out of the woodwork.

In other regards, standard of living should go up sufficiently that it'll be a drop in the bucket, given robot/computerized instructors.

The socialist utopias of Sanders’ dreams bear little resemblance to reality across the Atlantic.

Bernie's plan: Make America European again!

When he asks for ‘trade policies that work for the working families of our nation and not just the CEOs of large, multi-national corporations,’ Social Democrats in Sweden would take this to mean trade liberalization — which would have the benefit of exposing monopolist fat cats to competition — not the protectionism that Sanders favors. ... Being more like modern Sweden actually means deregulation, free trade, a national school voucher system, partially privatized pensions, no property tax, no inheritance tax, and much lower corporate taxes. Sorry to burst your bubble, Bernie.”

and like cruz and kasich they have every right to think their scenario with happen.

One thing about bernie that we are missing also is that he is beholden to his donors. You know all those guys that gave 30 dollars or something? I think that bernie feels they at least deserve a chance to vote for him. Its good also because it encourages this kind of thing for the future.

People tend to believe, in the face of any evidence, that the candidate they support will win. Cruz supporters think Cruz is getting nominated and Trump supporters think Trump is going to win the presidency.

then they will either write in Sanders, or vote Jill Stein (Green Party), or if they are real socialist, they can vote for the socialist- liberation party ticket. There are plenty of options consistent with their left wing views. Trump is not one of them.

Because these subset of supporters insist on voting for someone, but refuse to vote for Hillary or anyone else who is 'establishment' . Its not my theory so much as some very idealistic trump supports who think these folks have to vote Trump.

In fact most of us will either vote Hillary, stay at home and mope, or write in Sanders. A small slice will vote Green.
