I don't know anything about these justices, but I assume they're conservative. Even if conservatives don't agree with Trump on much, this should be enough to rally conservatives to his side since the next president will probably tip the balance of SCOTUS for a generation.

Don't worry, Trump doesn't know anything about them either!

More than likely. Supposedly he got most of these names from the Heritage Foundation. However, this is the main selling point for conservatives to stick with him instead of not voting or writing in a protest vote.

Um, it's dudes and dudettes also on that list of 11 choices.

I scanned through all the news channels after that was announced, and many were impressed with the choices, even though they are all obviously conservative-minded judges. There was one Democrat in an interview on MSNBC, who said the only thing these judges will do is vote against Roe v Wade. (Typical Progressive mind at work)

Rather interesting is that not all judges here are federal judges, many are state level.

I was wrong, I didn't expect him to ever actually follow through.

if he can promise the republican party that he will pick conservative judges, they should be able to compromise - thats one of the biggest legacies the president leaves, in my opinion

I don't know about the rest , but Pryor is a religious nut. I thought the GOP was trying to get away from this kind of stuff.

For which the media is frantically searching for anything anyone of those, any spouse of those or anyone who claims to know them did or said that in any fashion could be twisted to prove that person is a bigot, racist and hates women.

I bet Trump's sister, who is a federal appeals court judge, advised him on this.

No (*)(*)(*)(*). It will probably take less than a week for the MSM to crucify these picks.

Actually who seems the "religious nut" is you in your messaage, furious over the removal of the ten commandments from an Alabama courthouse.

Pryor received national attention in 2003 when he called for the removal of Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, who had disobeyed a federal court order to remove a Ten Commandments monument from the Alabama Judicial Building. Pryor personally prosecuted Moore for violations of the Canons of Judicial Ethics, and the Alabama Court of the Judiciary unanimously removed Moore from office.

Maybe if you pray hard enough at a closet prayer station and sob enough at a Pentacostal wailing wall you can pray those ten commandments back to that Alabama courthouse.

Or is your message typical Democrat tactics to find the greatest lie diametrically opposite from the truth to tell to prove your unquestioned blind loyalty to Democratic mind-control masters?

I stand corrected as I confused Pryor for Moore. Thanks

Depends on what you consider religious. We already know what you guys consider racist and homophonal and bigoted. If what you consider "a religious nut" is based on a standard anywhere near the standards of the other names, then all this guy had to do is have great great grandparents that attended church once or twice back in the late 19th century which would have ironically considered them devilish for those times.

Just wait... They'll be overzealous, hateful, racist, homophonal, religious nuts by the time the MSM is done with them, and every southpaw out there will be repeating the same line for every one of them on a daily basis.

Not familiar with any of them, but I can be sure Trump isn't sorting his list by color and gender and filling in the perceived missing slots accordingly.
