Hey Ronstar this might come as a shock to you, but Azerbajian does not have enough gas for Turkey and the EU. It will still be coming from Russia, only that instead of Ukraine it will be going into the Tap pipelines.

Anyway Russian gas is now coming through Germany. They are building two new pipelines. The important thing is that Ukraine is bypassed since it makes a habit stealing gas...besides not paying.

The bad thing is that Germany will become a hub, when it should have been the Balkan nations, since they need the money more. Of course the EU has hindered it. Only Germany matters.

Turkey’s import of gas from Azerbaijan should reach 20-30 billion cubic meters.

Turkey’s import of gas from Azerbaijan should reach 20-30 billion cubic meters, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said answering a question by an Azerbaijan student during a live broadcast of the local channel ATV, APA-Economics reported.

According to him, Turkey will successfully continue the joint projects with Azerbaijan.

ouching upon TANAP, the head of state said that the gas to be transported via this pipeline will meet a major part of Turkish demand for gas: “Currently, we purchase 6.7 bcm of gas.

After years of debate, political jockeying and acrimony, a major pipeline project to bring natural gas to Southern Europe has broken ground.

The Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) will connect the Caspian Sea to European markets, providing Europe with another large source of natural gas that will help the continent diversify away from Russia. The route begins at the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan, where the South Caucuses Pipeline will carry Caspian gas from the large Shah Deniz-2 gas field, delivering it to the border with Turkey.

From Turkey the gas will tie into the Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP), which will take the gas across Turkey to the border with Greece where it will meet up with the aforementioned Trans-Adriatic Pipeline.

The Caspian gas will then travel through TAP across Greece, beneath the Adriatic Sea and onto Italy.

Just take a look at the countrys the primary article pretends dont exist in the real story.

Ya know if Saudi Arabia could build a pipeline to turkey, they could pump oil too.....

If only there was some way to destabilize and control large portions of Iraq and Syria.....

    hmmmm.....

Ya know if Europe could be pals with Iran maybe Iran could pump oil too.....

If only there was some way to be pals with Iran......

It's in every aspect of their culture as far as music, literature, plays, ballet....etc.

Their mistrust is what get's them in the end.

KSA doesn't want a pipeline thru Iraq or Syria.. too much conflict and sabotage. They have the East-West pipeline and access to SUMED.

Iran is just now trying to get it's S#!# together to be able to produce and export oil and natural gas.

They can export to Western Nations now after the U.S./Iranian Nuclear Deal.

This actually is something that Russia does not want.

Perhaps in a decade the West and Iran might be able to work out a deal.

Margo and Alpha, how about a reality check:

"...Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), a pipeline project to transport natural gas from the Caspian sea (Azerbaijan), starting from Greece via Albania and the Adriatic Sea to Italy and further to Western Europe. It is expected to become operational in 2019. The estimated capacity is 10-20 billion cubic meters annually. It’s a drop in the bucket. Gazprom sells around 160 billion cubic meters yearly. At the same time, TAP is a serious competitor to sea-transported supplies..."
