Clinton mocks Trump’s bankruptcies: ‘How can anybody lose money running a casino?’

‘……..on Monday to address the Service Employees International Union’s international convention and ask its 2.1 million workers for help in defeating Trump…..
“Trump economics is a recipe for lower wages, fewer jobs, and more debt. He could bankrupt America like he has bankrupted his companies,” she told a crowd of roughly 3,000 members, all wearing their purple union shirts. The SEIU has endorsed Clinton for president……………
She paused, smiled and threw a punch: “I mean ask yourself how can anybody lose money running a casino? Really?”

    And HRC has just begun…………

    Well really...

You get a guaranteed per cent of return.

And Trump's casinos failed before there was the competition from PA

I live in a casino town. Casinos go broke all the time. Pointing out a Trump failure is legit, but making it sound like a casino is immune to fiscal collapse is something I'd expect Trump to say. It's going to be an entertaining six months.

Yep. I don't expect to hear a positive word for another six...well...it doesn't matter who wins. It's going to be ugly for quite some time.

Trumps casino didn't go bankrupt because it lost money. It went bankrupt because it couldn't generate enough income to make interest payments on the outstanding $675 million debt used to construct the giant casino.

After all, money to establish businesses need to come from somewhere. Then again, we've never elected a politician who ever understand this concept.

The same way you walk out of the White House "broke" and struggling "to, you know, piece together resources."

Without commenting on the silly topic much, what's amazing is that Hillary bothers to waste time to campaign to the SEIU. She could bite the head off a bat on national television and still get their votes, they are exactly that corrupt and dishonorable.

It's been ugly for the last 16 years, and it's only going to get worse. Democratic campaigns since Adlai Stevenson have been little more than character assassination and the Republicans have been fighting with one hand tied behind their backs. Trump has now demonstrated that they not only don't have to, but that it works ever so much better if you give as good as you get or better.

It has been said that politics is a full contact sport. That's outdated. It is now a blood sport.

Oh and thanks to Obama the power of the presidency is currently only limited by the intestinal fortitude of the occupant of the white house.

Four out of Trump's 400 businesses filed for bankruptcy. That's a pretty good success rate since half of all new businesses fail.

But the Dems can just go on mocking Trump. It will get them nowhere.

You should have seen Atlantic City BEFORE New Jersey allowed gambling in 1978 - kinda like the USA does right now.

I guess Trump should have just relied on giving speeches for favors to make his millions.

Funny thing is the democrats boo hoo for poor people who file bankruptcy and then mock wealthy people who file bankruptcy. Which is it-- Are bankrupt people saintly victims or sinners? What message are you sending to someone who filed bankruptcy over medical bills when you are mocking someone who declared bankruptcy for some other reason?

No the situation is quit different........and I am surprised you do not know so.............A stated secondary goal of the vast right-wing conspiracy after impeachment was to bankrupt the Clinton's by forcing them to defend themselves from liability from trumped up law suits..........lawyers cost a lot of money even back in the day...........Clinton left office with legal fees owing somewhere around $6.5 million dollars...........

    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/clintons-pay-off-legal-bills/

On the other hand Trump made millions by going bankrupt and screwing the businesses and stock holders of the properties he ran into the ground

Trump made it not work.......ran the property into the ground ..............and made millions in the end.........

and one could argue her support for numerous government projects that have gone bankrupt (several solar companies, with a few more about to go bankrupt) shows that she is no different, except the fact she used taxpayer dollars when things she supported went bankrupt... so I'm not really sure she gets this pass on "bankruptcy" when many projects she has declared her support for with taxpayer dollars, have been abysmal failures... I mean doesn't it upset you taxpayer dollars were wasted on bankruptcies for projects she supported? isn't that the very essence of whats wrong, government giving money to corporations only to waste that money? isn't that a democratic issue? are you suggesting democrats have a better track record when it comes to bankruptcy? perhaps we should review the projects Hillary supported...

The subject here is Donald Trump and his character issues..........so let's try not going off willy-nilly on some other issue/subject

    BTW

Maybe tyou should list the projects HRC projects rather than asking the reader to do your work and then try to guess what you never said
