The medical reports, as mentioned by both the articles and a few posters here, should be a pretty good indicator of a sexual assault.

 

Part of it is just in numbers of male participants. Football teams are big. There are over 1 million high school football players. There are less than half a million high school baseball players, a little more than half a million high school basketball players, 400,000 high school soccer players. I also think it's because supervision is lower with football players--more players, not necessarily more coaches.

 

Well, it could mean learning disabled kid, which would be my bet.

 

I agree, but I do have a problem with the attempt to associate the millions of football participants with these criminals. Such ludicrous swipes with the broad brush should be disdained...

Nope. And who else in that school would have had a motive to attack a football player with a learning disability, other than Howard and Ward?

 

I was thinking more our former president who was at the time either gov or AG of ARK I forget which. He was accused of rape at one point or sexual assault etc. Does he not count?

 

It is your supposition that the only 2 possible persons at that school that might have something against 1) developmentally disabled persons 2) people of color or 3) be simple pedophiles or 4) have gotten twisted off at this young man for SOME slight either real or imagined that has nothing to do with him being disabled or black or a minor and might have everything to do with football or someone's girlfriend or really anything (it takes a weird mother(*)(*)(*)(*)er to sodomize a developmentally disabled child with a coat hanger, their motivations are hard to call by the sane), are the defendants?
How do you come to that conclusion?

 

Howard and Ward were the 2 people named in the case, among the others who were involved and did it and this isn't even bringing up the "notorious KKK" chant they made.

 

Or "on the team" could mean he's the manager or other associated position or even just an honorary member.

So it is now your supposition that the people named in cases are always guilty? Makers of notorious racist chants also are always guilty of vicious sexual assaults in your opinion?

 

The prosecution got them and the other person who didn't get named, and I don't see much on defense from any of them in the article other than one witness supposedly giving a different testimony.

 

I don't know, and neither do you. All you have is speculation which is all fine and good, but before you wish death on them, at least wait to see if it was really them or not. For all you or I know, he could have done it to himself and blamed them because they picked on him behind the scenes. There was a mentally disabled girl in my high school that took a dump in the bathroom, grabbed the turd and smeared the words "(*)(*)(*)(*) YOU!" on the wall and then smeared the turd all over herself afterwards and started running after students with the crap all over her. Mental people do some crazy things and have some insane thoughts. We don't even know the capacity level of his mental disability. Another girl at the same school, about 5 years earlier, slow at learning, stuck a vacuum hose to her lips and a cucumber in her canooter and claimed one of the more popular guys raped her and punched her in the mouth... And I was in a town of 500. You can never tell, without definitive proof, if what those people are saying is true or not

 

So it IS therefore you supposition that anyone up on prosecution is already guilty? Shall I begin citing cases of wrongful conviction? Tell me you're trolling.

You don't see a defense from them because they haven't even PLED YET. You are entirely ignorant of how our legal system functions.

 

By the way I'm reading into said poster's demeanor, I'd say it depends...

 

The prosecution is trying to get 10 million for the kid's family. None of the accused have been proven guilty.

 

Never said those things were impossible but I have a lot of doubts. If the kids aren't found guilty then good for them, and I'll admit that I'm jumping ahead if that helps out, but I see nothing that suggests the defendants are innocent nor anything that suggests this whole thing was staged or a hoax.

 

As do I, and same for me... But at this point, it's just best to let the whole thing pan out, which has been my point from the very beginning.

 

I don't understand how, when I see these young men's mugshots plastered on the daily news every morning. Of course I have heard of Michael Brown it was national news, have you ever heard of Timothy Cole?
