    I am a Cat Whisperer.
    Yes I am.
Friends with unhappy or unhealthy cats have witnessed me.
A near hairless cat gulped butter off my fingers when offered.
One friend was advised her cat felt like the child of the previous marriage. Needs attention.

Anyone who does not like or trust or is allergic to cats is not to be trusted! Simple rule.
A cat is not obedient as much as a companion. There is no doubt in my mind,
The Lord Created,"Cat" in his own image and PeopleKind to serve them.

The Cat as a pet has taken some interesting twists and turns.
It is now "Okay" for straight guys to have a cat. And most cat pet owners are, Male peoples.

Does anyone want to share any, Cat Tales?
My two old cats are feeling Autumn although the temperature is barely under 60F, they sleep inside.

Across an immense, unguarded, ethereal border, Canadians, cool and unsympathetic,
regard our America with envious eyes and slowly and surely draw their plans against us.

They have weaponized weather bringing the drought upon us.

I have a cat rescue. My GF says the same thing about people that don't like cats. She calls me the cat whisperer.

They come after me with quantity not quality. I would rather have 5 I could see than 50 I can't to contend with.

I have this Black Cat who absolutely will not allow any flying insects to be in my home.

He is an unbelievable jumper and can grab birds, insects or anything right out of the air.

Problem is the little SOB really knows how to push my buttons!! LOL!!

    And he is smart...too smart.

I leave my side porch light on at night just to watch the community cats go all Cirque du Soleil on the flying things drawn to the light. It is rather amusing to watch. One night one bounced off the bench into the side of the house, propelled itself almost as high as the light fixture and backflipped off the wall. Wish I had my camera gong when it happened. I would be a youtube hero.

If I had videoed my Cat ringing my door bell I would have made a bundle!!

I let him out at night and then at 3 am my doorbell rings!!

The first time this happened I kind of freaked out but now I know it's just him wanting to come in.

We had a feral cat in our neighborhood that would show up every couple days and knock on the storm door so my brother wold come out and feed it. If nobody heard the knocking after awhile he would just sit their and meow incessantly. We called him Meow Meow. He ran from the rest of us most the time and would claw the holy hell out of you if you tried to pet him. He just wanted my brother who would feed him and rub his belly and he would go on his way. He lived in a storm drain pipe---except when it was raining obviously. The good thing about him was he would chase every other male cat away. Once he died, the area became flooded with tom cats--mostly his children and grandchildren. Whenever he showed up I would just go tell my brother there was someone at the door for him.

If there is a Moth in my house my cat will hunt it down no matter what and kill it!!

And NOTHING better get in his way because he will jump over or climb over anything or anyone in his way!!

I was with my buddy in my home office and I opened up a $350 bottle of Scotch when a big green Katydid flew and landed right inside one of the empty glasses I had next to the freshly opened bottle of Scotch on my desk.

My cat had chased it into the room.....saw where it landed and jumped at least 6 feet away from the floor to the desk knocking over the bottle and the glasses!!

I was lucky to immediately grab the bottle after it hit the floor as it spilled and saved 3/4's of the Scotch but still....that was an expensive bug!

Has anyone else experienced the ghost of a departed cat
    haunting the home?

An Abyssinian I had loved to jump on people's leg and
straddle it like a great cat on a tree branch.
After she died, a visitor might startle and claim they just
felt the cat jump on their leg. And there was no discussion of the cat either.

The Siamese brothers I had for their 17 years passed March and November '15.
And they are definitely haunting the house today.

Has anyone else experience "Cat Haunts" and do dogs do it?

    Yeah....I think I have.

For what reason I don't know after my last cat died a stain appeared on a section of my basement floor that looked EXACTLY like my dead cat.

I took a picture of it and then the next day it was gone.

Several times before I got another cat I was in bed reading and I heard a cat walking on my oak floors and then felt a cat jump into bed.

At the time this happened as it had happened many times before when my cat was alive I was reading and not paying attention as I had for a few seconds forgotten that my cat was dead and when I looked at the foot of the bed where I felt a cat jump up there was nothing and then I remembered my cat had died.

Although you are not among the roughly twenty percent of people
who have a brush with death who can remember an out of body experience......
a life review and meeting deceased relatives......

you have probably become somewhat more psychic due to your several
brushes with death... while you were doing your duty.

Will near death experience accounts transform psychiatry and psychology?
Psychology Today has devoted more attention to this possibility over the past twenty five years than you might imagine.

You would think that having bepetted cats for so long, we would have a clue, but we are no better at herding cats than our opponents.

The only time I can get all cats to agree and be where I want them is when the wet food comes out.

Most animals really like me for some odd reason, I have had sparrows land on my finger, dogs that hate and try to bite most everybody are friendly to me.
    Horses like me too.

I have a friend who worked at the Nome airport, He said they had to be careful not to fuel them up if no one noticed they weren't Stearmans.

While I was installing a sump pump in my cellar I heard a hissing noise behind me. With some trepidation, as I fear snakes terribly, I turned to look at the source. I saw my tomcat and he had cornered a large spider, The SPIDER was standing on it's REAR LEGS and hissing quite loudly. As I watched fascinated my tomcat simply ate the awful arachnid in one bite. I yelled then that he mustn't eat it for the poison. Sylvester simply looked at me with a quizzical expression and two spider legs still kicking outside its mouth, then swallowed. He had no ill effects but I was unable to work in the cellar the rest of the week
