In a year when the US may get a female president, the UK will get its second female Prime Minister. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-36737426 Both contenders have given speeches indicating a definite move to the left in British politics. Both contenders were educated at public schools, in contrast to the private school background of David Cameron.
second conservative female prime minister, isn't that right? P.S. basically I'm fascinated when one party has multiple contenders put forward or a history of "firsts, seconds, etc" before the other political parties have put forward one... it just goes to show how deep their bench is for diversity typically compared to the others...

The public school system in England are selective, expensive secondary schools, that normally run interpedently from the state school system. Confusing I know.
It's pretty funny that both female PMs have been Conservatives, given how much people in Labour bang on about feminism and gender equality. Labour had better up it.
