Roe put limits on her abortion era. Thus if you support that law, you agree she is not unlimited in her right over her body.

    I said

It was similar to a convict who spent years in prison and suddenly was freed by DNA evidence.

Similar to an innocent man being declared innocent.

She was then in high school. I told this story previously.

She posted to a Clinton forum on the AOL forums.

She told us how her mom was headed to the abortion place to get the abortion. Her mom had guilt feelings so had her daughter whom was adopted into a family.

As she got old enough, she located her actual mom and told her thank you.

This daughter finished high school, finished college and today is a TV reporter for a Fox affiliate.

Last I heard of her she had got married and has a child.

Lord she was so grateful to her mom.

So you speak for everyone in the world? Do you know what delusion of grandeur means?

Got news for you....not everyone has the same morals... Not everyone has some weird kind of desperate need to label everything moral or not moral...

I simply don't live under a rock, and I speak English.

Neither do I. I just call a stone a stone. You're making prescriptive statements, but you won't admit it because in your mind you will be "stooping" to the same level as pro-life people who argue based on their morals.

It all really depends on how we define a right, for the purpose of a debate that would have to be an agreement prior to starting. A right to me is something that is founded on ethical value judgements, which may be empirical or rational. A right is that which confers legitimacy upon an action or a belief and that legitimacy derives from whichever authority conferred the right in question.

Not really, for one asserting that abortion is wrong because God says so begs the question of being able to prove God's existence, because if God does not exist, or has at least existed at some point, then it would not be possible for God to confer rights upon us.

Utterly wrong, your assertion is nothing more than an all or nothing fallacy.

On the basis that it is not your body that has to bear the burden, nor is it your right or responsibility to dictate to others who, what, where and when their body can be used by another person.

As a return question, on what basis do you have the right to stop women getting abortions?

Is it through some ill conceived notion that your sense of morality is more of a truth than hers and as such you should be able to impose it onto her?

Again you frame a question and ignore many relevant facts, were Susan Smith's children causing her actual bodily injury, were Susan Smith's children resident inside of her against her consent .. add those two to the question and if they are both answered yes then the father has no say in whether Susan defends herself .. I suggest you understand the difference between biologically dependent and socially dependent

Absolute rubbish, you have had a number of posters pointing out where your assertion that abortion needs to be in the constitution to be valid is wrong, and you are still wrong that a new law was created . .you just chose to ignore the facts and reality.

Again you are wrong, Roe places no restrictions on abortion, it merely allows the states to do so if they wish, ergo ANY state in the US could remove any and all restrictions on abortion and not be violating Federal law or the Constitution.

So it was the behavior of one seriously unstable person, who doesn't sound like she would have been a good wife or parent either, that convinced you that abortion was wrong?

Did you ever stop to consider what kind of life you, and your potential child, would have had living with that kind of mentally instability on a daily basis? Did you ever stop to consider what harm that might have done to your potential child?

From what you have posted you, and your potential child, had a very lucky escape thanks to abortion.

It is disingenuous to blame abortion for someone else being mentally unstable.

Abortion is just a medical procedure.

Mental instability has nothing whatsoever to do with abortion.

Her right to an abortion continues throughout the pregnancy. The only limitations occur in the 3rd trimester where an abortion is only justified if there is a threat to her health and/or life.

So for the last 3 months there is a limitation but it can be overruled if her body is at risk.

And even those limitations are not mandated by Federal law or by Roe, Roe simply allows the states to impose some restrictions if they wish. Any state could remove any and all restrictions without violating Federal law.

If that's the case, then you're admitting your stance on abortion is subjective.

    Completely irrelevant to the point.

It's correct. It makes use of the belief that, "If the court says it's true, then it's true."

The court says abortion is okay, therefore it's okay.

The court says slavery is okay, there it's it's okay.

    You can't cherry pick.

The poster asked pertinent interesting questions. Why can't you answer?

Your confusion is duly noted for the record and it says volumes about your posts.

Yes, We the People did decide to unite for many reasons including our general welfare and to protect our individual rights.

If you have some other imaginary source for our rights please feel free to share it.
