And then there is the Zogby published before the LAT/USC.

    http://zogbyanalytics.com/news/756-...mp-has-closed-the-gap-among-older-millennials

Trump has been on a summer travel vacation. This race should not be tied.

The LA times has consistently been an outlier when it comes to the Trump Vs. Clinton numbers. Her average is about +6-+7 but I would lean towards +6 since there are some outliers that go for her as well.

That actually should be expected. We're dealing with an election where most people are more anti-other-guy than pro-anyone. Less limelight for Trump should close the gap a little. The next time he sticks his foot in his mouth, however . . .

Oh for sure he's winning then!

It must be all those black and hispanic voters he's picking up.

    SMDH...pathetic.

The entire political establishment is now attacking Trump 24/7. It is amazing that he has drawn even.

You may be right about his ability to trip up and drive his numbers down again. OTH, people must be discounting his controversial statements (volumes of them now) or he would have been finished off in the polls months ago.

Trump is the first "Republican" to make a credible appeal to black and Hispanic Americans. He actually addressed their specific problems in some detail last night. Surprised me.

    A totally ridiculous outlier.

If anybody actually thinks that the race is anywhere near that close, they need to have their head examined.

That said, if I was to see SEVERAL polls confirming this, and the RCP Average of Polls showed a 1% margin--I might actually care.

But, that is about as likely as a snowball in hell.

Get back to me when there are 10 more polls just like it.

    Until then? :bored:

lol...I'm a minority and he addressed zero of my concerns.

Hillary Clinton is addressing them though. My concern being is that a pig Anti-American racist like trump will be elected.

Hillary is ensuring that won't happen. Thank you Hillary.

If you think blacks are going to vote for a racist pig like trump...I'm not going to bother to correct you...I want trump cultists to have unreasonable hope....it will make election day SOOOO much more fun.

    Karma incoming....

I know it's not scientific, but my Facebook page gets hammered with articles showing large crowded venues for Trump and they have to doctor photos for Clinton to make it look like people are coming out to listen to her. Her small crowds have been stories for quite a while and it's been said that's why she's cancelling events. And no, I can't prove any of this right now, but with a little effort you should be able to find stories on this quite easily.

Did you actually check the date of your source material? The poll is dated from July 28, 2016...right after the RNCC.

Today is Aug 17th, 2016. Clinton +22 RCP average in Ca.

Now LibChick, you are not fooling anyone with that nonsense. Surely you know that the DP has always been the party of racist hate.

Look what the DP has done to the black American communities it has been running for decades. Are you a white Democrat?

Not really. Consider what Trump is running against.

Not only is Madame Clinton a corrupt scofflaw who exposed state secrets to hackers in order to avoid being held accountable to the American people, she is an amoral, self-serving sociopath who was willing to send men and women into Iraq to fight and die for nothing and then later failed to ensure the security of the personnel serving under her in a country that she helped turn into an anarchic, jihadist-infested (*)(*)(*)(*) hole.

You want to see something funny?

Wait a minute - that's not funny at all...

Simply put....I don't need to attempt to fool anyone. Minority voters...particularly black voters...will vote in overwhelming numbers for Clinton.

Your opinion is irrelevant. trump the racist will NEVER garner minority voters in any meaningful way. And he'll be losing in November because minorities won't vote for a raging racist.

You need to look up the definition of the word "futility" because trump the racist trying to appeal to black voters is the very embodiment of that word.

The only way it comes down to the debates is if someone is still holding out hope Trump's campaign can recover.

Can you back that accusation up with proof? Having a bone to pick with one or two people or wanting to protect this country is not racist.

Murdoch's Wall Street Journal gave the deadline for Trump to "turn it around"....Labor Day.

If nothing has changed....Republican politicians will start distancing themselves from Trump and the RNC will start to "divert resources" the Congressional campaign and away from Trump.

Oh, and neither the Journal NOR those Republican politicians will use desperation outlier polls.

    I can.

What is the antonym of the word "some"?

You seem to be stuck in the last century. The DP has always been the party of racist hate.
It has now become far too obvious for the minority victims to ignore.

Trump, and every other alternative candidate will do far better with minorities in this election.

Yes, Clinton is in trouble. Sick, corrupt and incompetent is usually a very unfortunate combo.
