I have just this morning announced my plans to campaign for the office of Municipal Councillor,
in the St. Mary's District in Guysborough County, Nova Scotia.

But I am going to propose the printing up of a local currency in the nearby area of
the economically depressed town of Canso, Nova Scotia due to the fact that
they were at the centre of a movement began by Dr. Moses Coady and Fr. Jimmy Thompkins
during the era of our history portrayed in Sherbrooke Historic Village.

So many young people have moved away from the town of CanSo that they lost town status
    back in 2012.

I see your political career is continuing at a swift pace.

I don't know what they will think of your ideas about alternate forms of currency.

For about a decade now.... every time I read an article about Prime Minister Stephen Harper.....
I would be hit with the name.... Rehoboam.... Rehoboam.... Rehoboam.......
King Rehoboam of Judah was the first born son of King Solomon who
was opposed by King Jereboam of Ephrayim/ Samaria/ the Northern Kingdom of Israel......

King Rehoboam lost ten tribes of Israel to his rival King Jereboam.......
King Rehoboam.... .for all of his flaws was one of the good guys.......
and my theory is that a modern Rehoboam will prepare the way for a modern Solomon.....

who will set the stage for a modern king david...... who will not allow people to term him king......
    for a number of reasons.........
one of which is that I suspect that he understands the very high place that his grandson Rabbi Yeshua/ Issa/ Jesus.....
    has ascended to........

but he will have other reasons as well.........
many people here in Nova Scotia are quite artistically inclined and are interested in making films......
    and in becoming rather famous........

    Prime Minister Justin Trudeau......
in spite of the fact that I am technically a member of a rival political party......
is capable of immediately understanding the meaning of the phrase....."artistic value"
he was a drama teacher before being chosen as Prime Minister of Canada..............

    Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
    Rabbi Yeshayahu Hollander:

    Dear Mr. Prime Minister:
    Shalom Rabbi Hollander:

I woke up this morning with a strange insight on a verse in the Christian scriptures.....
that I believe has great potential artistic, diplomatic, and even economic value for the nation
    of Israel.

    Revelation 11:3
"And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth."
    ......
    Revelation 11:8
"And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them,
and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is
called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half,
and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves."

We Christians have so little understanding of either Judaism or Islam that we do not catch
much of the positive meaning in these verses. For one........ these two witnesses have been
very probably chosen for their role..... .both by the Jerusalem Sanhedrin or at least some
of their representatives........ and they have also very probably been chosen by some
    Islamic officials.

I don't know for sure if it was the original author of this book.... or if it was the translators but....
it is obvious from the context that the non-burial of these two witnesses is taken as an
insult by most Christians......... and the rejoicing over their dead bodies..... perhaps even by the first or second century
gifted Messianic Jew who foresaw this event.......
is assumed to be an even greater insult but........
here we are in the year 2016 and at this time..... in the context of documentary, reality, science fiction
and so many genres of film production..... .it can now be theorized that.......
a high percentage of both Muslims and Jews living in and around Jerusalem at the time of
the fulfillment of this vision could well be confident that these two people could well be
    resurrected from the dead....???????!

Theistic Evolutionary Theory...... the foundation of which has been laid by Dr. Chaim Henry Tejman,
combined with the Law of Complexity Consciousness, indicates that we humans are highly
unlikely to be the most technologically advanced species in the universe / multiverse.

The idea of resurrecting people dead for three or four days should no longer astonish any of us.

Frankly..... it is obvious that Richard Dawkins Ph. D. is lying when he terms himself an Atheist.....
his statements in this film indicate that he is an Agnostic.......

Communities like Canso that are struggling to keep up in these changing economic
conditions should take a look at the Worgl, Austria local money experiment........
FDR...... didn't just come up with "The New Deal" out of the goodness of his heart but.....
instead was pressured into those positive changes by what happened in over a thousand
    small USA communities.

One possible variation on how to revitalize Canada's Conservative movement would be
through churches....... printing up church currencies..... and using them to partly finance
films that directly expand the choices available to mothers who are considering having an
    abortion...........

This method could also be used to address homelessness.....

and theoretically... this could rise up out of the same area where
    The Antigonish Movement took place.

Back in the time of Dr. Moses Coady, what was accomplished through
    The Alpha Course

Large churches in democratic nations should print their own currencies.

is a good example of how several dozen socially active residents of an area can begin what amounts to a second tier to the economy.

The Ithaca Hour is an excellent example of a similar concept being applied in the United States.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ithaca_Hours
Most North American churches have a desire to assist the poor and the oppressed. Well….. in 2014 efforts by a group of socially active Christians could easily transform dozens of homeless people into actors….. who are playing the role of homeless people….. and the specific efforts to help them could becomes scenes in a series of documentary and reality films designed to give the homeless people a job that finances their getting an apartment or at least a group home.

Most of us are unaware of the Worgl, Austria local currency experiment that was conducted during the Great Depression and how successfully it was copied in hundreds of communities in the USA. As a matter of fact…… it looks like what these communities accomplished played a significant role in inspiring the USA government to alter the monetary system in many positive ways.

I think that there are many aspiring film producers who
might be rather interested in taking me up on the challenge
    that I issue here.

Imagine........ dozens.... if not hundreds of Nova Scotia fishermen......
in the year 1939.... and they somehow manage to get a message to the
Captain of the M. S. St. Louis to drive her into the sands off Sable Island......
and they go out with their Lobster boats.........
and they pick the roughly 900 or so Jewish refugees and take them to
    Nova Scotia.....................
to be hidden from the government.......

if they can hide rum... they can hide people......

On one level.... it was the title of the history course taught to me by Mr. Bruce Kelloway,
I think it was back in Grade 10, (1976).

On another level... it is the ten major challenges facing political leaders here in Canada,
the USA and our ally Israel that I put in front of the Jerusalem Sanhedrin back on
    March 30, 2013, (post # 5).

Here's the thing though. Most of the world's money is actually electronic. Like, you deposit a cheque into the bank, right, but never was there any actual cash there. No legal tender was involved. The basic premise of money is that we believe it to hold value, its written on a US dollar "In God we Trust" because the value of the dollar in conventional terms in nothing but what we put stock into. We say that 1 US dollar is equivalent to a certain value. But it really doesn't have any value unless you trust that it does. So if a bunch of people start putting value into local currency, I mean, it'll work, but only as far as people believe that it has value. If you take these Nova Scotian dollars to say, Hong Kong, will the people there believe it has any value? So, in actuality, you're trying to make that region develop economically separate from the rest of Canada. If the place is so small and isolated, then yes, it'll improve conditions there, if you, in effect, build up an autarkical society that is self sustaining. If there are enough resources to keep everyone and everything alive, then you've essentially built a little country. Its economy will, indeed, go up. But I don't think that this is good for the Canadian nation as a whole because it isolates some of the smaller regions from the rest of the country.

I may be reading into this wrong, so I may be entirely mistaken in this post, but that's my two cents if my interpretation was correct.

    Extremely well said HailVictory!

One of the reasons why I agree with the lawmakers in ten USA States that
State coins and local currencies have a lot of potential is because in theory they can
become a significant source of tax revenue for both State / Provincial and federal USA / Canadian
    governments.

But in the event of an EMP attack....
we could be put us back a century.... almost over night.....
which would force us to figure out a way to use ledgers.....
with debits and credits.... as opposed to debit and credit cards.......

This is one of the reasons why I advocate local currencies for every major community.....
as a back up system in case our major monetary system temporarily fails.... or goes through
    serious glitches..... for whatever reason.

It is also possible to use this basic idea to inspire a greater long term goal.......

That is true. But the issue is that we don't have the tangible cash on hand, and printing more increases inflation. Something we can't have, at least, in the US.

How could the printing of another million Ithaca Hours, in any way
negatively impact on the USA dollar?

How could an extra million CanSo Dollars in any way negatively impact the value of
    the Canadian dollar?

By its very nature, more Ithaca Hours in circulation in Ithaca and area, has to generally strengthen the
value of the dollar, because it tends to decrease the taxation burden to
finance the social safety net for the area of Ithaca, New York?!

It seems to me that much of the business generated by the existence of the Ithaca Hour as a
measuring instrument....... would not take place if people did not have Ithaca Hours in their wallets or purses.

(At least that is my impression after researching this for some time.)

Ok well here's the reason. Allowing a region its own currency makes it economically independent of the country. That's what made the Brits leave the EU. So imagine Ithaca, NY had its own money, right. How do they place value upon this? It's tied to their economic production value. What they produce. It's not longer tied to how well the country does, as a whole, but only Ithaca, NY. Well, what if we did make it tied to the dollar? Well then it would just be a dollar but in Ithaca, NY. The real issue is that only economically independent areas should get their own currency. That's why the EU uses the Euro. Because they are pooling their economic output. So a fisherman in France contributes value to the cash paying for an engineer in Germany. If Germany switched back to Reichsmarks, then they would be contributing to the EU if they chose to stay, but the EU really wouldn't be contributing much back. That's one of the concerns the Brexiters had.

This is a truly good answer......
    but too simplistic.......

The $110,000 worth of Ithaca Hours, does NOT
make the town of Ithaca independent from the State government of
New York, or from the federal USA government but......... as they turn over
and turn over and turn over....that money..... largely within the socially conscious and artistic
segment of the population there....... they may make the town of Ithaca 1 to 3% less dependent
on the State or federal government.

This is one of the only ways that I can think of to come up with financing for the massive
project of shifting over to a truly green and sustainable economy.

How can we now reform our unsustainable financial system?

Is John Hotson Ph. D. correct in the following assertion?

Yea I know it doesn't make the area 100% independent of the USA, but the point is that it really can't be used anywhere other than Ithaca, NY, and then ceases to have any real practical application. Because the value of the currency will be so low compared to a US dollar because of the comparative economic output, unless people are willing to convert the US dollars that they most likely received their salary in into Ithaca Hours and then have like 1000 Ithaca Hours to a dollar, I'm not really sure people would really want or need to do that. Enlighten me if I'm mistaken, but I simply don't see how switching the currency of an individual area helps with anything when 90% of our money comes from electronic cheque deposits. Because you don't have your year's salary lying around your house in cash. Most of it is in your bank, electronically stored, and you use a credit card that charges to your bank account every time you buy something. So it's not like we even depend on tangible paper money anymore. If it was an issue of having legal tender in circulation, that makes sense. But because everything you do comes from electronic forms of payment, it just doesn't make sense to me that having a local currency would solve any issues.
