Hoosier8.... I was so impressed by this reply that I quoted you over here:

The Sahara Forest Project...and saving New Orleans and Florida from rising oceans!

    ..........

I heard a little about this from a Grade 12 Geology teacher......... I know very little about this....... but it is obvious that this must be taken into consideration when large scale desalination of ocean water for reforestation is attempted.

Bamboo has a lot of potential for projects like this. I have read that some species of bamboo develop a massive root structure for perhaps five years even before they show any amount of above ground growth. But..... when they do shoot up........ it is FAST!

Apparently China uses mostly bamboo for its "Green Wall of China" program which is their attempt to limit the spread of the Gobi desert.

Mr. Sean Fraser........ you are being set up nicely to play the role of Ambassador and Translator..... in a way that can be of great befit to many residents of Central - Nova......... but frankly...... all 35 million Canadians can benefit from your playing out your role to achieve a higher level of competent cooperation between Liberals and Conservatives!

I actually do have high expectations that P. M. Justin Trudeau can become a major leader in a movement that will transform Canadian and world politics!

He will not be able to do this by himself though........... I believe that he needs a truly well informed opponent such as Mr. Peter MacKay to raise the calibre of debate up here in Canada in such a way that Americans will be looking at what is going on with genuine interest.

I left P. M. Trudeau's Liberal Party in December of 2015 and joined Canada Conservative Party in order to more effectively encourage Mr. Peter MacKay to come out of retirement and campaign to become national leader of the Conservative Party.

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/697266347074933/
The rather dogmatic climate change skepticism that characterized of the P. M. Stephen Harper administration can......... be replaced by a much more INCLUSIVE approach!

‘We have to be an inclusive party’: Peter MacKay says Tories have to appeal to the masses

    ..................

Retired P. M. Stephen Harper is in so many ways the perfect person to send to the nation of Israel to negotiate a win - win - win - win scenario that results in the nation of Jordan being turned green!

    P. M. Justin Trudeau, in my opinion, is the perfect world leader to send to the nation of Jordan to put all of this together in such a way that everybody can see that this is a major step in the right direction.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/canad...ts-take-937-those-syrian-refugees-canada.html
Mr. Justin Trudeau, let's take 937 of those Syrian refugees to Canada?

Mr. Justin Trudeau, I am truly impressed to see that you also met with King Abdullah of Jordan during his recent visit.

For years now I have been thinking that documentary, reality and semi-reality science fiction film projects can be used to address some of the massive problems that humanity is facing.

    ........................

    http://www.politicalforum.com/relig...s-p-m-brokering-jordan-israel-peace-deal.html
Please pray or meditate on Canada's P. M. brokering Jordan - Israel peace deal?
I know that many of you pray or meditate so please

pray that P. M. Stephen Harper initiate a peace deal between Jordan and Israel?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am a member of a different Canadian political party but……… I have to admit that P. M. Stephen Harper is for good reason regarded as a rather "Davidic" figure by a high percentage of Israelis.

What he did for Israel back in 2011 at the G-8 was one of the most courageous and wise acts by a political leader that I have seen since I began to watch world events back in the '70's!

Theoretically....... a Nunavut Dollar could be used to finance something along the lines of a "Unified Theory of Modern World Problems?'

Getting involved in something like that would certainly increase increase interest in their language!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/polit...mbatting-climate-change-unite-right-left.html
Could alternative method of combatting climate change unite right and left???

I am hopeful that focusing a significant percentage of investment in turning deserts green to protect coastal communities from the threat of rising ocean has the potential to somewhat unite the political left with the right???!!!

......(post #2).....Proposal for the creation of a Nunavut Dollar....to address threat of rising ocean levels

In my opinion it is going to cost trillions of dollars to do what needs to be done to protect towns like Truro, and Antigonish, Nova Scotia from the consequences of the cracking and sliding of a large part of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet and the land based Greenland Ice Pack into the ocean.

The 143,000 acres of productive farmland along the Bay of Fundy that was reclaimed from the ocean by the use of dykes is even more vulnerable because the Fundy seems to have a funnelling effect on tidal water. In my part of Guysborough County, N. S. the difference between low tide and high tide can be as little as one meter. Along parts of the Fundy, the difference can be fifteen meters or more!

The province of Alberta attempted to create its own provincial currency unit during The Great Depression but enormous pressure was exerted to ensure that their experiment in monetary policy was unsuccessful.

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alberta_Social_Credit_Party

The province of Quebec seems to be in much better position to create its own provincial currency unit without facing the massive backlash from the financial community and federal government that Alberta experienced. The Territory of Nunavut may be in an even better position to take action than the Province of Quebec or Nova Scotia??!!

Dr. James Hansen has stated that the last time that global temperatures rose by three degrees ocean levels rose by 25 meters over four centuries. Canada and the world are NOT yet prepared for ocean rise of one meter every twenty years.

Somewhere between thirty million to one hundred million people in Bangladesh alone will become climate change refugees in the event of merely a one meter rise in ocean levels!

Well Dennis, as AboveAlpha says U.S. and Canada are going to be energy independent in 2020s when we get all the oil hiding in deep shale and tar-sand, or something like that.

Well, as far as environmentalism we can only go so far before our comfort and modern conveniences comes under threat, and you know we don't want to be uncomfortable!!!

We just have to wait until we can discover technology that can help us generate power for things in an ecosystem friendly way. It's coming, it just isn't here yet.

Actually Wgabrie.... we may well be far closer to a truly sustainable economy than even the most well informed and well intentioned experts are telling us.

This is going to get me into trouble now that I am a member of Canada's Conservative Party, but I did indeed vote for Green Party Leader Ms. Elizabeth May back in 2008 when she ran in my area.

I am a little bit disappointed that she and her team have not already done something significant with the advice that I gave them in posts #3, 4 and 5 here:

    http://www.politicalforum.com/canad...008-campaign-my-apology-ms-elizabeth-may.html
Ignorance shown in my 2008 campaign, my apology to Ms. Elizabeth May!
Back in 2008 when I campaigned for the office of municipal councilor my ignorance regarding the importance of reducing atmospheric carbon is out there for all to see!

I am wondering if the information regarding the increasing acidity of the oceans can alter how we view the importance of altering our economy?

AboveAlpha...... I just got back a truly astonishing response from a series of questions that I have put to Mr. Sigmund Ivarsson who has been shown somehow that he has an Elijah calling in life.

As you have seen from post #9 here...... I have been told that I have some sort of "Cyrus mantle"......... I don't know exactly what this is but...... AboveAlpha..... I am pretty sure that Sigmund and I and Sigmund's team will soon have an offer to put in front of you......... that is going to make you laugh..... but you will be laughing for different reasons than 90% of the others who will read this offer over?!?!

The next step is to issue a challenge to the State of Florida to take in as many Falasha Jews as we do.......
Florida will probably win on that challenge..... and frankly...... due to our winters the Falasha Jews who make it to
Florida may tend to be happier than the ones who make it to Nova Scotia.

I have to admit that I have heard good things about the American South West.....
it seems like the lower humidity is great for anybody with arthritis.... the pain
greatly decreases if we move to Arizona or New Mexico.

Wonderful and sincere people in America's extreme political left have courageously
managed to stop every attempt to do something practical like this for about four decades.....
if I attain any level of influence or power..... all their perfectionist and idealistic hard work would be
    annulled!

But...... I have a diabolical plan in mind to attempt to free up the companies that
want to desalinate ocean water on a huge scale in order to alleviate the drought in
California..... if my dastardly plan goes through.... .America's South West might just
become even more humid than Florida?!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/elect...hould-consider-dr-jill-stein-green-party.html
Florida residents should consider Dr. Jill Stein and the Green Party.

Especially if she and her team will begin to seriously discuss the alternative
theory on how best to begin rapid stabilization of the climate that has been put
forward by New Mexico biologist Carl Cantrell.

The American South West is good for those with respiratory problems too. Low humidity.
That's why Doc Holiday moved from Georgia to Tombstone, Arizona.
The national center for pulmonary illness is in Denver - a mile high - Oxygen a bit thinner.
Active TB was treated by wrapping the patient up in lots of blankets and letting them breathe the icy air of Winter as they lay on lounge chairs. TB germs are sensitive to cold and in the late 19h and early 20th century, the land of the FREE and Home of the Brave was one of the most active nations at corralling the TB epidemic problem.
Meanwhile, in :flagcanada:, TB was a means to reduce the Inuit population. :icon_jawdrop:

    Yes.......
some astonishingly unethical decisions have been made by
    high level bureaucrats and politicians.

Even at this time a high level official in the Obama administration
told a member of Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski's team that the treatments themselves were
great....... but they could harm the Big Pharma share prices on Wall Street.......

so he could not personally assist in getting the only workable treatment for
various types of brain cancers approved.

This is referred to in the second Dr. Burzynski documentary.

Just another example of "small pox blankets" to remove an indigenous population.

Tell you? Why? It's none of your business. So you Europeans brought my ancestors blankets, beads and smallpox, everybody knows that and quite frankly I am sooo over it.

But please tell me about what you Californians did to your early Chinese immigrants in Los Angeles. TELL ME about the massacre.

California made it "legal" to be Chinese while most Western States expelled them in the late 1800's.

    Next question.

You want massacres, how about the Puchuco (police sponsored) Riots in East L.A.

La Canada just treated TB among the Inuit with benign neglect. No infected blankets needed.
