The more they whine and riot, the more I know I voted right

The more the fools whine and riot in the streets, the more I and all the people that voted for Trump know our vote was correct.

What adds to that knowledge that we voted right is added to by the fact that neither Hillary or Obama are denouncing the criminal rioters. We voters now know another reason why we didnt want an Obama regime 3.0!!!!!!!

 

I guess the big question here is WHEN are the cities going to say enough is enough and close in and arrest all the criminal rioters??

 

What an incredibly silly and pointless way to measure your decisions. In reality, one thing here has literally nothing to do with how the other thing is going to work out.

But I suppose silliness like that is what happens when your votes are made out of spite and revenge against other voters and not on the merits of the person you're actually electing.

 

I believe the OP's underlying point is that the radicals protesting in the streets are showing exactly why the dims lost in this election.

As for the "merits" of one candidate over the other:

Just enough people in just enough places finally saw the real truth of what a catastrophe the current administration has created for this country in terms of being SO divided as a people.

Just enough people in just enough places saw our president speak out repeatedly against our brave police officers then stand in silence while they were being demonized and murdered.

Just enough people in just enough places are tired of seeing our president tout his "low" unemployment rate but completely ignore the fact that only 62.8% of our people who are able to be in the work force are actually working - the lowest percentage in over 38 years!

Just enough people in just enough places either stayed home or actually voted for Trump - because even though they didn't really like him...they REALLY didn't like Clinton!

Just enough people in just enough places finally saw the same old rusty garbage truck heading up their street - but this time it was making deliveries - and they finally said "ENOUGH!"

It's always good to see such cogent and intellectual debate points from balanced and coherent citizens.

As I said - they probably didn't like the guy very much...but they made a choice - which was admittedly a tough one either way you slice it.

I can't say that I can blame people for not really caring for Trump's persona or methods. I felt the same way...

...until I figured out what he was doing - and more importantly WHY! That's the key part.

If you think our country has been on a good path during the past couple of decades and are happy with where we are now, you are in a distinct minority, friend. Most Americans - regardless of the popular or electoral vote results - do not! We have been going the wrong direction for many, many years...and BOTH sides are to blame!

We needed to take a chance - and make a change. Our usual paradigm just wasn't working.

Conservatives didn't like Obama - and we knew why we didn't like him. He's a Marxist - any way you slice it!

The dubious radical characters in his past wouldn't have even allowed him an actual, fully-vetted, fully-investigated security clearance...and Hillary is in the same boat. The only way either of those two could get a REAL security clearance is if they were ELECTED into a position requiring one. I assure you that the "shuffle-through" nature of security screening for elected officials is VERY different from ACTUAL security clearance investigations.

Don't even act like you're going to challenge that contention! I promise you, you'd be WRONG! Neither of them could withstand a full vetting complete with a full-on NSA polygraph! No how - no way!

How do I know? Because I held a Top Secret (PLUS added caveats) security clearance for all 25 of my years as an active duty Soldier in the Intelligence Community. That's how I know.

The constant and intense scrutiny Intelligence personnel have to undergo would render both Clinton and Obama 100% INELIGIBLE! There's no way they'd be allowed on an Intelligence collection or analysis mission! You can take that to the bank!

Yet they both got daily briefings generated from those very same intelligence sources! That's what I call IRONY!

Bottom line: in spite of what we knew about him, we gave Obama a chance. Hell, he was even re-elected! If that's not giving him every chance to succeed in actually making our Nation a better place, then I don't know what is.

We gave him a chance. We didn't riot. We hardly made a noticeable peep!

We gave him a chance - yet he undoubtedly failed - so here we are!

Is Trump any better? Will he do any better?

Well, I would have to say that regarding the ability to get an actual security clearance - probably so, all things considered. I don't say that lightly - because as I said...I tend to look at granting security clearances a bit differently than most folks.

As for the prospects of his doing any better: I guess we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?

Either way, rational American citizens should at least give him as much of a chance as Obama was given.

Trump might just surprise us all!
