If this was the Religion section I'd be happy to post plenty more statements by scientists to the effect that in their opinion there is a God..

 

And none of them would have their OPINIONS published is reputable peer reviewed scientific journals either.

Look bud, I never claimed for a fact that foetuses can think, you've misread one of my little jokes..
Scientists are not totally sure that foetuses can't think, so I'm keeping an open mind.
Incidentally I'm a scientist myself in a minor way, I got College of Preceptors exam passes in General Science and Advanced Science in the 60's and went on to work in science labs.
PS- I also got a pass in English language which is why I spell it the quaint medieval english way 'foetus'..

Incidentally the topic is 'Why abortion is a good thing', so my position is that it's probably a good reason if continuing the pregnancy poses serious health risks to the mother and/or baby.

 

So you claim to be a scientist but you obviously don't understand anything at all about science!

 

As a purely practical matter, abortion should be legal.

The problem the right wing makes with abortion is they think abortions weren't happening before Roe V. Wade legalized them. The reality is that there were as many abortions performed in 1972 as there were in 1973. The Doctors just wrote something else down on the charts.

Doubt me? Check out birth figures from the period. The birth rate didn't drop in 1973 and actually went up in 1975.

 

Well, if killing people cuts back on crime, i suppose that is one way to do it.

Why not kill all black males, since they are statistically the highest crime demographic? Why not kill all illegal aliens, since they commit many of the crimes in the country?

Let's just give full discretion to some ruling elites, to decide who is best fit to live, or not. They can manage the food supplies, births, deaths, & everything about the rest of our poor, pathetic lives.. all the while, supporting them in the lap of luxury, of course.

Righties act like there were no abortions before 1974....but education frightens them and for them the history of the world as proof of how long abortion has been around isn't real....lefties just make up that history stuff, doncha know.
