As I've said so often - how on earth can anybody possibly deny the holocaust when there's so much film and photographic evidence that it happened!! Has she denied the holocaust and 'professed admiration for Nazi ideology'? I'd appreciate a link.

It was her father, Jean-Marie, to whom I was referring. She very cannily expelled him from her party understanding that his extremely vocal anti-Semitism, racism and far-right xenophobia would lose her votes if she remained allied to him. The party of which she is the leader, however, has extensive links to, and support from, several far-right European parties.

Or maybe she just thought he was too extreme? It sure sounds as if he was. And as to 'extensive links to far-right parties', it's funny how 'the right' has suddenly become 'the far right' isn't it? If that isn't the various governments' spinmeisters hard at work to ameliorate the migrant crises I don't know what is!

The poll is a normally-sampled one. Older people agree more, younger a bit less. The average is the given figure. And let's note that the younger respondents are all on the same side as the older one - there is no demographic where even close to a majority doesn't want more Muslims, and even those younger respondents are very much against.

The sample die, 1000, is the average poll sample size.

All of which is to say, to anyone who's interested, that our friend here's comment was a complete misrepresentation of the findings. This is a normal, fairly conducted poll.

Most ppl simply dont care about politics, that's why the boat is towed by radicals of either side left or right, in Democracies that is.

By definition, refugees are people that have lost their own territory and are now seeking territory that belongs to others.

The problem is that they don't understand and even so naïve about politics,
they are so focused with Islamism thus could not even distinguish what's reality and what is faith mostly when applying those towards the actualities of life. They really need enlightenment for sometimes they always heed towards the wrong direction.

Well if that isn't 'social engineering' I don't know what is! So much for freedom of expression - looks like Sweden is the first country to be deprived of it? And the most surreal thing about that is . . . wait for it - Sweden is a liberal country???? :eyepopping:

Addendum: Anyone up for more multiculturalism? [IMG]

I understand what you are trying to say but I only agree with part of it. About the 'social engineering' you hit the nail on the head. About the 'freedom of expression', again you're on the money. But what you insinuate about about 'liberalism' I do not agree with at all. This is a complicated subject but I'll try to make it short. Our Social Democracy was like nothing else on this earth. I could explain it to you but unless you were here you cannot understand how fantastic it was. But then something terrible happened. Our PM, Olaf Palme, was murdered by apparently a joint operation of the CIA and SÄPO. Since his death we have been slowly losing both our Socialist and Democratic values. So when you look over the sea and say that Sweden is a 'liberal' country, yes, in comparison to your country we are liberal, but this is a phony Liberalism.

Thank you very much for that informative post. I know nothing about the history of Sweden, only that it was once a country I much admired for its culture and values. It dismays me what it has become today, and I blame that on the extreme liberalism of the recent past. I knew something was going wrong when I began to see press photos of Swedes (mostly females) with 'Refugees are welcome here' banners. Now we are seeing the result of that stupidity, and it's painful to believe Sweden will never be the same again.

Oh my gosh, that's the first time ever I'm reading a Swede saying what he actually thinks... I'm really worried for your country.

Yes. Your worry is justified too. We are deep in the brown stuff and sinking fast. If you want to be even more depressed see what "Angry Foreigner" has to say. He was born in Yugoslavia but he is raised here. He sometimes does his thing in English.

    Here's a good example:

"There needs to be fewer who can become victims."

That's the single most stupid thing I've read in a while. What has the world come to.

I'm glad that the video has almost 2 million views and got lots of likes. There's still hope, maybe not for Sweden but for other European countries. I'm sorry!

He's also on point with the idea of nationalism. It is racist for white people to embrace love for their country and culture. But when immigrants express a desire to preserve their identity and their culture, then it's charming!

Thread title - that must be the absolutely ultimate example of wishing you'd locked the stable door before the horse bolted - or more accurately, wishing you'd locked the city gates before the barbarians stormed through them. It'd be funny were it not so ominous. Well it's too late now, suckers!

European Jews are God chosen people so and they believe so, so any argument is futile. How can you argue with God chosen people? Whatever they do is approved by almighty hence no consequences nor guilty conscience.

The Jews are the warriors, the Palestinians are fate. If you can't deal with a storm, move away.

You got it all wrong there buddy. Most people do not want immigration anywhere like this.
But there is a freaking HUGE difference between immigrants.... and refugees.

Meh. Jews are the genocidial monsters according to the Torah. They went to the land of Canaan, after their god massacred the totally innocent 1st borns of Egypt, to slaughter every man woman child the sick and elderly, to thieve the land.

My pain is particularly gruesome. Deep in my heart and soul I am a liberal. I have voted Social Democrat all of my life. I am 70 years old now and only this last election (and the upcoming one 2018, may it come soon!) I am voting Sweden Democrats instead. This is the only party that wants to seriously revamp our immigration policies. If Socialism and Democracy are not represented in my party of choice then I will support the party that is prepared to take the most worrying problem by the ear. Immigration. And what about my Socialist-Democratic values? Yeah, what about them?

Many of the later migrants had good homes elsewhere but wished to join the Zionist movement. You also are forgetting that this land was set aside for Israel by treaty, and was therefore already legally arranged for them They were not seeking; they had already found. Additionally, in their minds they were returning, after centuries of exile.

Islam has both Mecca and Medina. What do they want Palestine for? It seems to me they have designs on the site of every site esteemed with religious devotion--especially those of other religions, which they like to tear down and build on top of wherever they can get away with it. IMO they would have built exactly on top of the 9-11 site if they had dared.

With respect - like most liberals you're learning the hard way the difference between liberalism and pragmatism viz. liberal values are idealistically noble, but the trouble is it doesn't work in practice.

How so? 10000 people is a large sample size.
