Saw them walking on the sidewalks? How did you know they were Muslim?
Most Americans aren't fond of their tendency to want to kill us.

Frankly, I am sick of pretenders showing up to defend Obama then turn around to deny this.

Trump punished nobody. A slow walk is smart. Trump only had a time frame, not some permanent ban and he had stipulations to the slow walk.

Correction as to whom needs to fight ISIS. According to how it was done until recently, it was not to fight them, but to train those who do the fighting. Obama banned our guys from fighting. Trump thus far has not changed that.

I trust Trump now. At first, a year ago, I was not sure. But the man fights for America. Democrats fight him.

I don't care what ISIS claims gets their recruitment numbers up or down. If we want that fixed, we must actually wage all out war on them. This (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)footing will not solve this problem.

I have arrived at the point that when Bush had them defeated, he should have imposed our form of Government on Iraq and this nonsense with parliament would never happen. Parliament leads to a confused government.

Heck, in most cases that is fine with me. The more confused government is the more I like it. :roflol:

The Muslims i saw had their unique clothing on. Darn right I am not fond of their tendencies to want to kill us.

Racism (which too many within the majority refuse to reject or put down) is mainly what has divided our society. It's an old problem with many OLD, unhealed wounds... and is STILL creating new ones.

The REACTION to President Obama by his racist opposition, what simply a SYMPTOM (evidence) of division that was already in existence.

When we look at the character and record of just 2 racists which the current President has appointed, it shows much more of the essence of what President Obama has faced over the last 8 years.

Bet all you like, this American has no problem with Muslims. You have a very unfortunate, bigoted attitude toward them, clearly. I'm fine with any legal immigrant who isn't here to cause trouble.

Middle Eastern Muslims tend to cause a lot of trouble... Almost every state's government in the country refused to house Syrian refugees.
Hey, what coast is Washington on?

The vetting process takes from 18 months to two years. The FBI is right, and many people do not have the proper papers and conservative sources constantly remind us of that. What those sources don't tell you is this. If someone cannot be properly vetted, they can't come here legally.

As for ISIS trying to infiltrate the refugee ranks, that would be pretty stupid. Why would they send their soldiers into the refugee program where they will be scrutinized and subjected to grueling investigation? More than likely they will try to infiltrate into our country illegally with false papers. That is what we should be spending our time, resources, and money preventing, not spending all our resources on preventing thousands of innocent, homeless, starving people from coming to our shores. That is not what you will hear from Trump. What you hear from Trump is sensationalizing the protection of the citizenry in ways that are, in fact, counter-productive. His executive orders insult Muslim nations we need to help fight ISIS and AQ, and are a recruiting tool for same.

When deciding on the proper use of resources, you apparently think it is wise to devote our resources to preventing something that has never happened. I suggest devoting our resources like the FBI, DHS, and local law enforcement to preventing illegal entry to our country, not legal entry, and preventing terrorist attacks by people already here, which is the case of the New York bomber, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, San Bernardino, Fort Hood, and Boston, to mention a few examples. Instead we are spending our attention and our resources on executive orders that are inhumane, illegal, and being challenged in the courts. You consider that a wise use of our time and resources. I don't.

Trump loves being under the microscope. He loves the attention, which would explain some of the incredibly stupid things he says, some outright lies. He probably does it on purpose to draw attention to himself. He has a narcissistic persona that needs attention. He just signed an executive order banning attacks on cops. Really, how moronic is that. Signing executive orders won't prevent attacks on cops. Better law enforcement will prevent attacks on cops. Why did he do such a stupid thing? Attention, of course. It is all over the media.

You act like has accomplished something. It is way too early yet, but he has accomplished very little outside of causing protests across the globe, angering members of his own party, lying to the press on a continuous basis, angering our allies (Mexico, U.K., Germany, France, and Australia) while calling NATO obsolete, and cozying up to Russia.

Oops, you joined the wrong discussion. This conversation isn't about Obama. It is about Trump. I know. He screws up so much, you need to change the subject.

Russia has oil. Israel is by FAR our greatest ally and NATO won't have any influence on what the US or Israel chooses to do.

    Well, like this

Governor? It is your question. Tell me who you think it is or was?

As to my view, Moonbeam is the strangest when he was young. Today he seems just normal.

I am talking of a politician who lived in a warehouse.

I see you don't care to address Trump's lie. That is a wise move.

Yes, I was aware of Blumenthal's statement. Unlike Trump, Blumenthal corrected the error he made and explained he served during Vietnam. Of course you knew that because of your extensive use of Google. Of course, you also noted that Blumenthal served in the military while Trump has not. Curious that he would slam a man who had served.

Care to comment on Trump's lie, the sole reason for the post. Probably not. There isn't much you can say other then he lied again.

Arnold Schwarzenegger. An absolute nobrainer not just to Californians but to all Americans.

Read what I said. "However, the rest of what you say is true." That pertained to right and wrong.

I noticed that you evaded my questions. Allow me to repeat them and I ask that you answer them. Otherwise, you don't have a point.

A Presidential order may be legal, but it may not be right according the norms of human behavior. My example is very apt. Mexico refuses to pay for the wall. Trump thinks Mexico should. Mexican cartels are responsible for illegal drugs pouring across the border. The Mexican government cannot stop the drug traffic. Trump thinks he can. He decides to invade Mexico. Would you support such an invasion? As Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, Trump has a legal right to invade. What do you think?

I'm asking because something like that happening in the next four years is a possibility. Please answer the questions.

Look, what about Georgia. What is the strangest creature you had as governor.

But most of us in CA do not see Arnold as strange or all that different.

    Moonbeam is a different person.

Trouble with that is that Trump claims he and the current Mexican president get along very well. Trump only in a joking way offered to help him deal with the Cartel. Congress can pull that up by not making funds available.

So forgiving of the Democrats. Yet claim to be what? Conservative? A republican?

I have no grudge against Blumenthal but his lie he served in combat really makes him seem small.

I served in Germany and at the time we had Special Forces serving in Vietnam. I have never felt the urge to lie as Blumenthal did. I got accused of staring down the Red menace by a poster when AOL was my place to then post. Damned jerk.

I rather like the lie Kerry told where he got wounded in combat. Kerry would have wanted a purple heart for stubbing his toe.

Then we had Bob Kerry who massacred a village of women and children. No combatants were in the village. And he claimed he got shot at. Trouble is his men moved in and lined them up and killed them.

It's okay though since he and the other Kerry are democrats. no problem at all for them to lie.

I absolutely would not support invading Mexico. I didn't support invading Iraq, Syria, or Libya either. Mexico is not an enemy nation. He has a right but not with my support. I don't just love all things Trump, nor should anyone.

You really think it's possible we could attack a neighboring or nearby country? Trump doesn't support all these crazy wars. No doubt Bush loved him some war and Obama loved him some drones and red lines, but I think we'll see Trump put an end to this craziness with the exception being ISIS.

I hadn't seen the issue other than in headlines so I didn't have any background to post from. From my research, it looks like he lied. Too many people saying he's said similar things to them as well so I'd have to assume Trump lied. I'm not afraid to call out truth, if that's what you're thinking. I just didn't pay attention to the news on this one.

We can HOPE. I was against the wars during the Bush years (and leftists cheered me for that) and I was against wars during the Obama years (and leftists called me a racist for that) and I intend to be against wars during the Trump years on . . . the . . . whole. ISSIS might be the exception for me, depending on both how and why that is approached . . . maybe.

It's the left that's dividing our society.

obama went to a racist church for 20 years...

Name me a Republican that even comes close to this...

The REACTION to obama was because of his socialist

tendencies, his distain for America and white people, his love of islam

    and his hatred of Christianity....

obama has committed 10 times more racist acts than these two put together..

You on the left can't defend your ideas in an open debate...

    Racism is all you got...

Everyone of your political foes is a racist....... Pathetic........

This is the SYMPTOM (evidence) of weak minds and morals.........................................

He'll only get my support for ISIS under a General Mattis mentality where we go in with only the goal of entirely eradicating them and the idea that we don't stop until the goal is achieved. Full force, no mercy, no stopping, no fake lines, no limits on where and when troops can go after them, etc. An entirely overwhelming force with one goal.
