    Yeah, everybody would say Arnold.
Georgia hasn't had any governor the country called the governator or movie star.
Georgia has the busiest airport in the world, Coca-Cola, Chick fil a, and The Walking Dead.

We are not fixated on the movie people the way you tell me you are.

Those who know about Moonbeam, Jerry Brown give him the title hands down.

He was famous for his weirdness.

So, you must not live in Georgia since you can't name any strange governor.

You are the one looking way past silly.

I forced you to admit your statement was false,

    Fake News if you will...

Then you won't bet me that I have more examples
than the one you gave to prove your own statement false..... :roflol:

    Comprender........

Go ahead and make my day...

    Bet me.....

Unless you are unsure of your self

which we both know to be the case..

If you do bet you will lose...

The cherry on top if you will...

    It's your call............

I grew up as a loyal Democrat. I swear to god, growing up and even up to Carter, I never heard of republicans being racist.

I mean, we, then I mean, we Democrats created the ku klux klan. We hanged blacks. We had jim crow laws. We fought Abe Lincoln. We persecuted native tribes.

Suddenly out of noplace, Johnson is president and we started to be told we republicans are the racists????

It makes no sense. I stayed a Democrat until the Reagan election of 1979 and never heard people tell us republicans were racists. As a Democrat at the time, we were the party of shame.

    I hear you.

I may have got documented on TV around 2002 when the TV guy interviewed me in DC. I recall where I was standing at the time. I was flustered.

I am not a TV person. Anway, Few of us like or want war. With anybody. I am like that. But when Democrats who urged Bush to go to war turned on the man, I felt like on forums somebody had to present an able defense of Bush.

Won't waste time right now, but my defense of the man is in my own opinion, awesome. But it's all fact driven.

As to Trump, the man won't go to war. To get him to go to war it will take some sort of attack on the homeland.

I got sick of a limp wristed president being excused due to skin color. How many of you want some lawyer running your city?

And We had one of them as president. We knew better than to get another lawyer when Clinton was in charge. And still the nation blundered.

And the angry Muslims who kill Americans will be American citizens and residents, as they have been since 9/11. Did you think refugees and foreigners were the terrorists? Nope. You turned on your own, they turned back. That’s why the entire American security apparatus and all your allies begged Trump not to keep that election promise: they were trying to keep you safe. You already are safe, of course:

2001-2016: 123 Americans were murdered by Muslim jihadists. Over 240, 000 Americans were murdered by everybody else.

    http://www.vox.com/world/2017/1/27/14412420/terrorism-muslims-america-islam-trump

Perhaps you need to ban everyone else?

And if you look at history, terrorism of all sorts is declining all over the world, pretty much in inverse proportion to the rise in fear. Crazy, isn't it?

I'll admit it's sometime difficult to be consistent from president to president when that includes changes of parties; but it's important to at least try. I come from generations of military service men, a few of whom were lifers -- though certainly not me. We are prepared to give our lives for our nation if necessary; but the key phrase is 'IF NECESSARY', and most war involvements of the U.S. have not been necessary. Of course that is my opinion, but we've all got 'em, because we are human.

I could park your car at the airport and have you drive me to Hollywood. and i doubt you could locate it.

I last was in Georgia 55 years ago. And your parents were perhaps teens at the time. Probably in grade school.

You missed your wild elections of that era.

Perhaps the hateful election I recall when I was then at Ft. Benning, GA was not that Governor. I am very certain that at Ft. Benning we had the Atlanta paper to read. I told my parents it was the worst election I ever heard of.

I honestly do not try to keep up with the Georgia elections. Here we are flat out guaranteed we will get only Democratic party governors. No more governator.

Arnold came with great ideas. But he met Democrats in Sacramento who put the kill button on his plans.

I was a little like "little bit" liberal when I was younger...

I was even a member of Greenpeace...

    Then I started listening Rush....

    I love that Man...

    He showed me the Light...

I was lost and then I was found..............

I think your first sentence nailed the real problem: "We were a divided nation before Trump became President." What's amazed me is how many want your Constitutional law processes thrown out the window and your new President given power to decree whatever he likes. A democracy that wants to be a dictatorship. Frightening what fear does to people, isn't t? Decades of public austerity don't help, either.

I never was like today's Democrats are. I did not like the rich. I took them as criminals. I did not think of who might be racist. Most everybody used the now banned N word and though Mom told we kids it was banned in the house, too many people said it for me to think much about the word. Then they used that term for themselves.

I admit I heard Rush a few times. When I worked in the field a lot in the 90s, when I had time, I heard him on the car radio. I never put a home radio on his station though. Rush more than likely has converted a lot of people.

A man that really impressed me is not on radio today that I know of. And he wrote books. Ken Hamblin is his name and he did not one bit like Democrats. Pick a better country is a book he is well known for writing. I own the book. He called himself the Black Avenger on the air.

Identity politics certainly are tearing your nation and mine apart, Penrod. But identity politics are not leftist politics. Oh, the liberal Democrats leaders think they are, it's true, because the privileged professional knowledge class they belong to think they are leftist. They think all the decline in America would magically stop if only people were tolerant and supported transgender toilets. They’re too well heeled to notice the declining standards of living because it doesn't effect them. They don't even see it. It’s just a rumour they heard at a Wall Street dinner.

We've got the same breed here in Australia. Wouldn't recognise a leftist thought if it clobbered them over the head.

Reject the liberal identity politics, absolutely- you just got a dose of what I think of them- and start looking for a real left that's for all Americans, not just little subsets of them here and there to get their photo taken with.

Yes, we are on the same page.

In 1939, two of Mom's brothers enlisted in the Army. Alvin was with the Army Air Corps and during WW2 cooked for the officers mess. He was never talkative and as a young boy felt mostly ignored by him. His younger brother Gene, was a cut up. We kids had a lot of fun when he was around. He enjoyed amusing kids. Alvin picked the Air Force at the close of WW2 and Gene stayed in the Army as a Sgt. Gene was killed in the opening days of the Korean war.
Gene, I and Dad drove in Oakland, CA before
Gene reported back to Japan where he then got shoved into Korea.

Losing Gene to me was like losing more of a father than an uncle. It was very hard on the family since he fought the Japanese in WW2. I can't recall how he got to Germany but he married a German woman and was married to her when he was killed in combat. Alvin was either the Air Forces longest serving NCO or should have been. He never got out until he served in Vietnam 3 tours as a E-9. So, when I got drafted, I did not wish to fight wars. I was fortunate to get out just before Vietnam got so serious that Johnson invaded the country. Most don't think we invaded them since we landed in the South, but what else was it?

I am not suspicious right now Trump will wage war. We have got so tangled up in the ME some people I suspect think we ought to clean out that vipers nest and be done. I hope we don't get more killed there.

    :p

Naw, they don't tend to cause a lot of trouble at all. You never even hear about the vast majority of them, they're so busy not causing trouble.

Absolutely! ALL American fatalities on American soil post 9/11 have been by American Muslims - citizen or resident. Not a visitor or refugee amongst them. FACT. So how exactly is it that the ban would have stopped it? What is it you disagree with and what facts are you on about?

My point is they immigrated. The fact they're legally citizens means nothing. They brought their hateful ideology with them.

    The AJC?
I've never been to California. I don't ever feel compelled to misrepresent myself because I am very proud to be a southern American. I pity people who feel otherwise. But I can certainly understand why anyone would want to be an American. It is an awesome country. I am extremely lucky I was born here.

9/11 didn't make me hate anyone. It isn't right to fault all Muslims or the entirety of Islam for that horrible terrorist attack. You should know that.

Yes of course. And our ideology that all Muslims are low mongrel dogs who cut off women's clitorises for fun and rape little girls because they're sexually depraved, jihadi monsters and are nothing like us - *******s, they're blood's not even red - especially that bustard next door with the kids- is all about spreading the flame of democracy and "freedom" (damn! What does that even mean? )throughout the world for its own good.

Thanks for the reminder, I forgot. Again.

Almost every state government in the country opposed housing Syrian refugees. During the Cold War we hated Russians. We always side with Israel. I don't care if that offends you or anyone else. Right? Haha. America isn't interested in being Ms. Congeniality. Everyone should know that.
