definitely that, also there is a considerable group here that spend their entire life on this forum. They are on here every day ALL DAY LONG, droning and droning some more. it's sad when you think about it. but the same noise does get boring in short order.

Is there supposed to be an "ed" on the end of "sprung?" :)

    Aww. Thanks. :)

Reminds me of one of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs! :D (Any reason to post a LZ song is a good one!)

That's like saying why's it so quiet after the civil war. Progs are too busy licking their wounds and conservatives are burned out from celebrating.

I don't either, but its more that I don't see much point in it. Guilty of feeling a little lethargic I guess. Everyone on PF seems completely stratified and either completely tone deaf or apparently thinks nuance will weaken their arguments.

NEWS FLASH----- No one will ever convince anyone else here that they are completely wrong about everything they believe. IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN!!

Thats not to say there aren't people willing to discuss things civilly, It just seems that most of them can't grasp that other people may have justifiable reasons to see the world differently than they do. So I'm guilty of dropping a lot of discussions without it being completely the other persons fault, It just feels rude to persist when I know what I've got to say isn't going to matter to them at all or do anything to change their view.

That, and I just can't argue completely crazy things like our current president. If you love him, God bless you, but I can't see it.

I don't love him, but he was better than the alternative. I am sick and tired of establishment politicians. We need to shake up their worlds! I think Trump is the perfect guy for the job.

Well said, I will also add that wanting public donations for a private forum that can be sold at any day for profit no longer sets well with me. I will keep my money, and my rules.

Well, to be fair, they do need money to keep the forum going. It's either donations or they could start running ads, which is VERY annoying. However, I do have ad block, so it wouldn't affect me!

Fair enough, but I don't entirely agree. The alternative would have been establishment, but I have the feeling that what we ended up with has its own agenda that isn't any better. Maybe a lot worse. Shaking things up may be fine but we need to be careful that we don't shake everything completely apart.

I think it's the natural lull after an election. You should start some good discussions going; I'm always willing to argue a point (even some I don't necessarily believe in, just to act as devil's advocate). Hang in there...

Yeah, I agree with this. Can't be throwing stuff at each other all the time. Just ask my bro...

I always love your graphics...

People post, people take breaks, people tire of boards...

It's the nature of discussion forums.

I'm wondering if some members have never been Or are not now, members of other "heated" discussion boards before, especially of a political nature.

You think THIS board gets like beating your head against a wall... LOL!

At least here every other word isn't an obscenity, or a veiled or open threat, & there aren't mass bannings, perma, or temp every few hours.

I don't find it boring in the least - if I did I'd find another one. Every day I get an average of 10 notifications. Not all of them are complimentary though! [IMG]
