    Besides numbered uploads, I am missing
    "national origin" of the author.
    Really. It added flavor knowing I was
    reading an Italian or French view point.

    May I repeer my proposition to change the colour of the hyperlinks? :worship:
    Th current one is greenish, which is very similar to the black font, hence hard to distinguish.

    Yeah, there are still some strange quirky things going on. So far, so good tonight with getting logged off at random times. We'll see how it goes. Maybe they've fixed that issue.

    When xenforo encounters an s in square brackets, it interprets that as a strikethrough tag and automatically adds another at the end, like so. What's up with that?

    A workaround is to use [plain][/plain] tags, which evidently work like the noparse tags in vB.

    In the window in which you write your posts to the forum there is a Menu Bar at the top. There are many icons on the Menu Bar and some offer options you can choose. If you click on the "Insert" icon (it's the fourth from the right end of the Menu Bar), a drop down menu will appear. That menu lists several options. The Quote option is the top listing. Clicking on "Quote" will insert a pair of quote tags for you (starting and ending), and the cursor automatically is placed in between the two, so you just have to begin typing to have the text appear as quote in your message (when you're finished, and click Post Reply).

    I hope this is what you were asking about ('quote' tags) in your post. It's easier to use the tags than to describe them. Lol...

    I don't want to sound ungrateful because the forum upgrade is really really good but can I have some indication of what nationality I am??

    I do miss the flags that showed our nationality and it made it nice and clear who was speaking to whom

    Ir I can't have a flag - could I change the "well known member" to Aussie Member though hmmmmmm might be too much of a double entendres

    Seems to me when the new & improved was first introduced, we could see the Member Directory. I skimmed thru it and saw lots of names from the past, including current FB friends I'd like to invite to come back. When I looked again, the directory is gone. Now all I can see are 'notable' members. Does a complete member directory still exist and if so, where is it?

    BTW, love the new software and pleasantly surprised how easy it to use from my phone. Kudos!

    In the quote itself their should be an arrow next to the quoted members name. If you scroll over that arrow and open it, it will take you to the quote.

    If you are having a problem seeing the post numbers while using your phone, try to view the site in landscape mode. That has been tested to see post numbers and has worked.
    Thanks to Cubed, RP1, Smartie and all the people in the bar that helped figure this out.
