On the morning of March 4, Trump went on one of his chronic tweet binges and publicly accused the ex-president of a felony, raving about "McCarthyism!" and "Nixon/Watergate" and calling him a "Bad (or sick) guy!" Donald J. Trump ✔@realDonaldTrump Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my "wires tapped" in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism! 6:35 AM - 4 Mar 2017 Donald J. Trump ✔@realDonaldTrump Is it legal for a sitting President to be "wire tapping" a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW! 6:49 AM - 4 Mar 2017 Donald J. Trump ✔@realDonaldTrump I'd bet a good lawyer could make a great case out of the fact that President Obama was tapping my phones in October, just prior to Election! 6:52 AM - 4 Mar 2017 Donald J. Trump ✔@realDonaldTrump How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy! 7:02 AM - 4 Mar 2017 Trump has been unable to provide any evidence to sustain his accusation. The FBI Director has testified that his agency been unable to uncover any evidence to support Trump's tweet frenzy. Republican and Democratic US Senators and Representatives alike have dismissed the hysterical tantrumps as having no merit. Trump, through his desperate attempts to hide his slanderous lie, has now dragged the Chancellor of Germany and the Prime Minister of Great Britain into his squalid deceit. Is he temperamentally capable of admitting he was wrong? Is he stable enough to apologize? If not in this flagrantly fake accusation, in anything? Ever?
You should have included: He's nuts! The House hearings today were mesmerizing. I gained lots of respect for Comey and Rogers.
That would fall under Option No. 2 : No, he can never admit to being wrong. He is temperamentally incapable of admitting it. He is too unstable to ever apologize.
Has Obama apologized to Trump for telling foreign intelligence communities not to share information with the Trump Administration? Just curious since one has greater national security implications than the other.
Obviously you can not. Your poll is a trash poll that is based upon a false premise regardless of which of the two are selected.
It is curious how people jump back and forth between claiming Comey is a flawless God and pure evil demon, depending on which side they think he is helping. To date, still not one iota of evidence the Russians hacked anyone. Only a fool or liar can claim wiretapping never happened, but rather only could claim lack of knowledge that he knows if there was wiretapping or not. However, today, to many Democrats, Comey is their omniscient god knowing and seeing all that everyone on earth has done and is doing. Personally, I think he has collectively proven most of all he is an attention whore.
It's hardly surprising that some folks are compelled to contrive digressions rather than honestly confront the poll. That avoidance is every bit as revealing as truthfully addressing the question.
I don't know trump's mind, so I cannot say with any certainty. But given what Obama people have done, committing felonies, to make it hard for our new president, trump should not apologize. Obama along with the DNC and many democrats are as dirty and corrupt as they come. Never apologize to political scumbags. It would be like spraying a pile of horse dung with perfume. Obama and his minions owe America an apology. The DNC owes America an apology. Trump owed none of them anything except a prison sentence.
trump is a paranoid, insecure, very small man. It's obvious in every aspect of his behavior. He's not a man. He's a weenie. Pray for America, there's a child at the wheel.
It comes as no surprise that hardcore Trump cultists flee from a direct question regarding a matter of their messiah's capacity to acknowledge error and exhibit the common decency of saying he's sorry for his vile outburst of fake news and its consequences. Nor can they even contrive an alternative for him. Can he admit when he's wrong? Yes? No? Those that cannot allow for the possibility of his ever being wrong cannot address the question. Thus, the desperate, "Oh yeah! Well what about ... (point anywhere else)?" transparent deflections.
Trump is way too weak to be able to ever man up and apologize. That he cannot apologize says volumes about the size of his "manhood".
The weasel shuffle seems to be the preferred sidestep for his handlers - as in "'Wiretap' doesn't mean 'wiretap'! What a crazy notion!" "When I use a word," Humpty Trumpty said in a rather scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean - neither more nor less."
He finally did, indeed. It's unfortunate that he needed to lie at the time and blame Hillary Clinton for originating the nonsense he had clung to for so long. Numerous FactChecks had discredited that one, of course.
How should Trump acknowledge his falsehood in your opinion. Or do you believe that he should never admit to it?
Everybody should be capable to apologize! But the point is: was Mr. Trump wrong when he said "Obama had my wires trapped in Trump Tower"?
No one, not the FBI, nor any other intelligence agency, not even Trump himself, has offered a shred of evidence to suggest what he alleged is true. If Trump had said, "Obama created the ebola virus," that allegation would have equal merit: none. Would any rational person actually ponder, "Was he wrong when he said that?" or, given Trump's impotence in providing anything to support what he said - despite multiple demands and his obvious self-interest to do so if he could - conclude that he was not telling the truth?
Please please provide me a link to that assertion. I would hate for it to come out that you (like Trump) are making an accusation without any evidence.
You probably are mistaken if you believe that everybody who voted for Trump expected him to be anything different than he has been.
