The only reason people object to the Confederate flag is because of Confederate Flag represents Traitors and slavery

I don't believe it for a minute as that would make no sense. However, what is your point?

So does the American flag from the British perspective, doesn't it?

So does the American flag from the British perspective, doesn't it?

What does the American flag represent to Native Americans? What is the difference between the American flag and Confederate flag in relation to historic mistreatment of Native Americans?

In the USA's war with Mexico, some American Irish Catholic troops switched sides because our troops were deliberately destroying Catholic churches. Those Irish troops, now Mexican troops on their beliefs, were wiped out. Were they "traitors?"

I think that most truly decent people want hatred and oppression to be dealt with, and not fostered/promoted.

There is a large amount of nuance which can be studied and discussed (historically speaking)... but ultimately, how we encourage people to regard/treat one another is what will matter most.

This country's history also is LOADED with account of a myriad of great good things which belong or can be placed directly in the lap of white people. In "fostering truth," shouldn't then there be chapters in school books identifying those great achievements - and putting it into the context of their race - since you want offenses put into the context of race?

For every black person who suffered or accomplished something positive - with it stated the person's race, should this also be done for white people? To always point "_________, who was white,..." of historic positives if this is going to be done for historic negatives? But it isn't, is it?

Of course it does. The terms "traitor" and "slavery" depends upon whose glasses you are wearing. The American founders - and the American flag at it's evolutionary beginning - was the flag of treason and slavery every bit as much as the Confederate flag.

The key is making sure the actual details of right/wrong are taught. The white-washing of history in this (American) society is essentially a fact of life. Even now, we are barely overcoming it.

    The "key" to what?

Or really? What month is "White History Month?" I bet you can not find 1 text book that has a chapter entitled about the accomplishments of white people, and certain not one about the accomplishments of white men.

(It may be worth just mentioning that I'm not white, not 1%. In a sense I am shaking my head and rolling my eyes in astonishment at naive, spoiled and foolish white people. Candidly white Western culture and values are G R E A T. The efforts to erase and destroy those by many white liberals is pure self-destruction.)

So strange. Here, there are no 'food stamps' or non-fiscal forms of welfare apart from public and subsidised housing. And this, plus actual welfare payments, are not accessible to undocumented people. You must be a permanent resident (of minimum residency equalling years) or citizen. You literally cannot get ANYTHING here if you're illegal. No public education, no public healthcare, no welfare. You can't even easily take out a long term lease on a residence, and you certainly can't buy property.

And plenty of economists have stated that's nonsense. It's simply false justifications for pushing a racist policy. It objectively is white shaming. But luckily it won't ever come to pass. But nonetheless, it's important to show people liberal racism and hate.

It should do what is in the best interests of the United States and the citizens of the United States. That is now a mind-boggling theory, isn't it?

It is an objective truth. Every race has paraken in slavery. Including blacks in America. Reparations is an unjust notion that luckily will never occur. To take from a white man for something he has never done to give to a black man for something he never experienced is nonsensical. Your refusal to accept the objective truth you quoted me about is not equal to it being false.

Social justice compares what an individual does and weighs it against what group that he is in before determing a punishment or reward. It is wrong.

A more 'socialist democracy' country than America. That's why it seems so odd that the US allows illegals to access welfare.

We have poor immigration laws. What we really need to do, in addition to the steps we have taken, is to criminalize employers for hiring illegals.

Not to mention sanctuary cities are a complete joke.

It would take great effort to write a more fundamentally racist message that you just did.

In your view, if it wasn't for India Americans would still be unable to do simple multiplication nor mathematics for lack of the decimal system. But for blacks, Americans would be eating raw meat and would be naked living in caves. But for the Mespoptanians we all would be illiterate as there would be no written language. OR are you claiming that for racist reasons Native Americans uniquely were incapable of evolving the way every other culture and society has across time?

Hey, here's a surprise for you. Most Indigenous Americans never had bison hides or lived in tepees. There is virtually no statement beginning with ",most Native Americans ______" that is accurate.

The standard for who we allow in is fairly simple: Does the person benefit our country and would that person being here serve to protect our core secular values, laws, and American values?

The standard now - anyone can come unless it can be proven the person is a terrorist - is absurd. Nor should it be based upon the person's needs.

The vote is 18:1 because everybody, including the 1, knows that one cannot be liable for what one did not DO.

    Think about that
    Why is it absurd?

My first instinct was that it's absurd. Then I read your OP and now I'm not sure.

    Why is white guilt absurd?

It's not an obvious reality. It's not...reality. And I think your inability to defend your talking point speaks for itself.

Just a word of advice: Instead of mindless parroting talking points; think.
