No, it belongs to the government, which doesn't belong to any one party. Obamacare isn't a piece of property with the owner listed on the deed. It's government policy, and right now the Republicans are the majority party in that government. If they continue this policy and especially while it is within their power to change it, it is their policy too. They've received countless votes based on their stated intent to repeal and replace it. That was one of Trump's major campaign promises too. Or has your TAD kicked in? TAD = Trump Amnesia Disorder. This is the name given to the disorder whereby the patient cannot remember anything about Donald Trump's past. This is how he got elected despite right-wing hostility regarding dishonest and corrupt politics from Hillary Clinton since Donald Trump himself also has a decades long history of the same types of behavior. However, for somebody afflicted with this disease, they cannot remember his history and are blissfully unaware of the monumental folly they committed. Millions of people suffer from this disorder so there is no real shame in coming forward with your own affliction. Tell us, how far back does your memory go? A trend I've seen is that Jan 20th, 2017 seems to be the beginning date for a lot of people's memories. Some with severe forms of the disorder can only remember what he's done today, each day. I pray you are not one of those severely afflicted in that way, but if you are, there is help to be found. It's called a Google search and will fill in those blanks for you, even if only for a day.
Socialistic agendas are always difficult to remove. When you redistribute wealth and power to 60%, you have an automatic voting base. That is how it works. It will take time and hopefully, we'll find out what's in it before it passes.
How far back does your memory go? Obamacare passed in the dead of night without one Republican vote. The Democrats were told they had to pass it to find out what's in it. They voted lock step. Social Security, the 2nd largest Socialist bill, was bi-partisan in it's passing. Obamacare was the greatest redistribution of wealth in a single bill our country has ever seen. It was a giant step forward for the Socialist/ Marxist agenda. Undoing it will take some time.
My memory is fine. Yes the Democrats passed it. But it's not property that belongs to those Democrats. Once passed it became law, making it under the authority of the government, not just a single political party(and why not reduce it down even further to only those Democrats who were actually in Congress and voted yes on it. Why should future Democrats who weren't there have to own it too?).Right now the Republicans are the majority party in that government. If Obamacare continues while the government is on their watch, they are responsible for it too. Obamacare was the wrong legislation passed for the right reasons. Health care is an important aspect of everybody's life, and shouldn't be a luxury item just for those with money. But Obamacare itself was just a meal ticket for the private insurance industry and therefore was doomed to fail from the moment that part was created. When you trust your well being to corporations whose only allegiance is to the profit gain of their owners, who aren't us, you can bet everybody else will get screwed for the benefit of those owners. And so everybody was. Might as well have asked a thieves guild to run a renter's property insurance program. I realize undoing it will take some time. We've been through 4 election cycles since it was passed, and during each Republican candidates ran on repeal and replacement. Turn the clocks forward to now and we all find out they had no idea what they were going to do, at all. They had never stopped to actually make a plan for if they actually got the chance to repeal and replace. It's Bush cowboy days in Iraq all over again. My ultimate point here is that Donald Trump and the Republicans don't get to push Obamacare on the Democrats as if it's only the Democrat's problem now and everybody be mad at them. The Republicans and Trump are part of the government too, and are now responsible if that government continues on with that policy intact, as they are with any policy about any issue that they create or perpetuate.
Give him a few minutes..............., or an about face on a policy, a lie, a tweet...and there will be a war...unless other world leaders squash him or ignore him.
http://wuwm.com/post/trumps-first-100-days-entry-level-presidency#stream/0 "This man is without experience, and it's showing," said Robert Dallek, the presidential historian and author of multiple books on presidents, from Roosevelt and Truman to Kennedy, Nixon and Reagan. "Particularly in his dealings with Congress, he's been an utter failure in the sense that he's gotten nothing passed. He's issuing all sorts of executive orders, like immigration limits; they're failing. The attempt to get health care reform failed. I'd give him failing marks for his 100 days."
Right. A multi-billionaire, who has made business deals all over the planet for DECADES, after a "community organizer".
You mean the "community organizer who was also a State Senator and US Senator. See the United States is not a business, is that why he has not been successful.
I mean the "community organizer" who never earned a dime the taxpayers didn't give him. Trump knows how the REAL WORLD works, and has far more international experience than Obama ever did, coming into office.
Yea he knows so much that he isn't getting a damn thing done, but folks like you will run around and try and tell the world that he is a mover and shaker.
Oh yeah. Sticking it to the libruls is definitely worth poisoning your children and grandchildren. Talk about petty bitter malleable and short-sighted and self-serving low information voters... right-wingers fit that to a tee.
First of all, President Obama has an extensive resume even if the rabid right-wing refuses to acknowledge it. Of course, these same idiots refuse to acknowledge that he has a valid BC so it's par for the course. Second of all, Clowny McFF's "real world" experience doesn't seem to include the ability to organize his own administration let alone lead his party. I guess it's harder to be president than to get rich spending your daddy's money while you rip small businesses off.
"Poll finds Trump has record low approval for first 100 days" http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/p...w-approval-for-first-100-days/article/2621007 low energy Donald, Sad!
'her' meaning 'Hillary.' Has nothing to do with 'sexism or misogyny.' Even when I was a liberal way back when I didn't like 'her.' That's why I voted for Lazio in the 2000 NY senate race. But according to 'you' if I don't like a certain 'her' I'm a 'sexist or misogynist.'
I thought you were emphasizing "her" sex by putting "her" in quotation marks....... and NO, I did NOT say that if you don't like a certain "her" you're sexist...
I agree with you to a point. The buck stops with those in power. On the other hand, Democrats, to a large degree are the reason for the sluggishness in it's repeal and replacement. Again, voting lockstep to keep in place a bill that is failing. Healthcare is making major advances in technology and prolonging life. People stay alive longer today when thirty years ago they died earlier. As with any new technology, it is always very expensive at first. Take computers for instance.Only the well off could afford them at first. Now most everyone has them. As usual, Democrats are crying "entitlement" and that the well to do must offset that expense. Healthcare is no more an "entitlement " than food or housing. I find it resentful that Democrat Socialists want to make it so, Soon there will be no incentive left to provide for oneself and family. Government will do it all, just so the left can expand and keep its base.
