It takes 'a certain kind of person' to be continually conflating criticism of Israel with a hatred of Jews, that's for sure, but it's not an uncommon psychological habit amongst those who are so spiritually weakened that they defend the indefensible.

 

No, my friend. It takes an educated, enlightened person to see past minute irrelevances, irritables and annoyances, of which each and every country are guilty. Israel is a beautiful country worthy of many a celebrations, and these who hate Jews are blind to it's achievements. Simple as that.

Incidentally, I'm usually the first to critique Israel when they screw up. I was the first to voice a displeasure when my favorite Jaffa restaurant pulled pork (no pun intended) from their menu. Won't see me there no more. And I'll complain again, if Israel does not wise up.

That's not a useful comparison in terms of legalities- although I agree with your moral point if indeed that's what you are intending.
Tibet was not a UN-recognised sovereign state when the Chinese ' invaded ' it and there was no UN incentive to protect its status - as certainly is the case with Palestine following the dissolution of the British Mandate into UN control. So the Israeli invasion is both immoral and illegal- and the Chinese criticism is fitting.

You're going to need a different attempt at diversion through ' moral equivalence '.

The Tibetans never did anything to the Chinese to warrant the treatment they are getting, whereas the "Palestinians have. IMO the whole planet will be a lot better off once everyone is consistent in refusing to give in to terrorist demands.

Israel won that land fair and square years ago when the countries surrounding it massed to attack. IMO Israel's only mistake since then is holding out false hope for a return of the land won as a result of provoked warfare.

The Palestinians have done nothing to help Israel believe they would be left in peace if the land is returned. It is therfore understandable that it has no desire to do so.

If you had a neighbor across the street that shot rockets at you from their second floor window, would you return their house to them if you were somehow able to get your hands on it? I wouldn't , especially after the former neighbor started sending their kids to school with knives and instructions to kill my own children.

IMO the support the Palestinians have gained lately is due to big money paying for propaganda on a global scale. World wide progressive Marxist "liberalism" has sold its soul to big money, just as it has in the US. The Palestinians were born and bred to be cat's paws for other Islamo-Arab interests, and the propaganda is coming from those interests and those that profit from dealings with those interests.
