IF You knew anything about the Islamic world, you would know that it is comprised of about 1.7 billion people many of who are decent, kind & intelligent individuals as I discovered first hand. This is a really old thread from about a year ago. Since the numbers are buried in the narrative I have a hard time agreeing with the totals since this is written to be cryptic and likely deceitful. Personally being a Catholic myself I prefer to claim the title of the most murdering organization to be my own church, particularly since Pope Urban 2nd commissioned the 1st Crusade, and there were about 4 or 5 more, and our French, German, and English knights slaughtered muslims and Jews with equal fervor. I would hate to see the muslims take that record away from us.

I don't believe that Islam is a serious threat to the world. A tic bite here and there maybe. ISIS is an inconvenient threat to Syria and Iraq. But they are being snuffed out there by Russia and the Kurds with American support. Too bad Turkey is bombing the Kurds. It is a complex multi party situation.

Well there was a time when Catholics and Protestant were killing each other as well. So however unlikely odd it is for two sects of one mother religion to be killing each other off, it has happened before and will probably keep on happening. I recall from ancient history that the Romans and the Greeks had similar gods however with slightly different names (Jupiter comes from "Zeus Pater"), and they fought each other also.

How is keeping your head buried underground like an ostrich doing for your neck? At every point on the globe where the muslim world intersects with the non-muslim - there is war. Go past the mainstream media and look up the phillippines, sudan, lebanon, etc and see how well muslims are interacting with non-muslims. Also research how well minority rights work in muslim countries.
