    Well....I doubt that tirade helped him gain any loyal viewers and he pretty much alienated and turned off a huge chunk of audience. Liberals can be so self destructive. He needs more audience then what the hateful left can offer. Not good for business....but I'm willing to bet the socialites in Washington and Hollywood is making him feel good all over. Self-gratification beats good sense and self-control.

    Progressive Marxist Liberals are desperate. They've never come up against anyone like Trump, who couldn't care less that he's violated their safe space and uttered things that have them clutching their pearls. And they can't beat him. Colbert's rant is the true face of Marxist liberalism.
    Perhaps the companies that advertise on the CBS network should start pulling there advertisements in a boycott. Personally, I've stopped watching even the local CBS station.

    Back in November, Colbert said, "Both sides are terrified of the other side. How did our politics get so poisonous? I think it's because we overdosed, especially this year. We drank too much of the poison.
    Politics is everywhere and that takes up precious brain space we could be using to remember all the things we actually have in common. So whether your side won or lost, we don't have to do this sh-t for a while."

    He should have listened to himself. He obviously needs to take a leave of absence and get a psych eval. He definitely had a mental breakdown on national TV. I am diagnosing him with an EXTREME case of TDS(Trump Derangement Syndrome), and he should seek long term therapy NOW. Psychiatry seems to be the money making field to be in today, because there is certainly no shortage of patients. The Democrats certainly are not giving the impression that they're sane and competent, are they?

    '...uncalled for attack...?' Trump deserves to be attacked, and compared to what Trump has routinely excreted from his festering gob, Colbert's comment is nothing-except, of course, to outraged conservatives.

    "Twist" seems a bright eyed, disillusioned Bernie backer ... the youthful angst pours from her like a fount. Her animous however seems misdirected, as she continues to support the party that betrayed Sanders. She's one of my favorite posters.

    We''ll see if that stays. There is a reason liberal talk radio can't keep listeners....and why Fox News beats the other liberal cable stations hands down. "Dissing" and showing contempt for a large part of your audience or potential audience is not smart.

    Fox beats other stations in what, ratings; and so what? A rating isn't an indicator of the quality of the content, just an indicator of how many are watching at a given time. It is only of use to advertisers. By the same token McDonald's claim to sell the most cheeseburgers. I prefer steak to mystery meat. How about you?
