I'm not so sure about that. I think it just seems that way because she's been putting herself out there, and it's easy to make fun of her. Did you see her on Bill Maher recently? She's comical.

Clinton raised 50% more money than Trump did.

What I'm talking about has nothing to do with campaign money. It's the big money lobbyists who are investing in public opinion. It's also the big money behind FOX News, Judicial Watch, Breitbart, the Heritage Foundation, and many others. For example, Judicial Watch has annual revenue of $38 million. They have a staff of over 50 lawyers and investigators. Their sole purpose is to initiate lawsuits against DEMs. Most are dismissed, but the damage is done, as FOX and others are more than willing to newsbite anything from JW. They filed about 300 lawsuits against Obama - that's about 1 every 8 days. They filed Benghazi lawsuits, and Susan Rice was their latest target.

So you see. Campaign dollars is meaningless. JW is just one example. America Rising, the source of the Elizabeth Warren defamation, cited in this thread, has an annual budget of $10-15 million. The billionaire Oligarchs are buying America.

I for one second the motion that anyone who doesn't actively work towards the complete control of unaccountable bureaucrats over every aspect of our lives is clearly insane.

    THE PROMISE

I suggest that we are OVERLOOKING the prime fault in American politics. Yes, it is all about the money!

But, no country on earth spends as much (per head) as the US on an presidential election. None. Howzat?

Because the smarter countries have put caps on the money that can be spent, and provide free-of-cost sufficient TV air-time for "debate". Not the one-off Idiot Commercials that pollute American TV during a pre-election period, where candidates are "sold" as if they were Soap Powder and the punch-line is "I wash whiter than white!"

Boob-tube Commercials are the worst possible way of electing a candidate - and the money spent rarely corresponds to the outcome in terms of performance.

If you want "performance", one must look at the "promise". Promises in politics cannot always be kept. (Our governance is a
triumvirate of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial bodies - that all interact in the nation's politics. So, it is VERY SILLY to think that any particular outcome was the sole consequence of a Presidential Term of Office.

    IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY

    From PRI (here)

How many much needed schools can we build for that money? How many post-secondary degrees? I'll answer this second question:
The NCER also tells me that only 45% of all high-schoolers will ever attain a post-secondary degree (that is, vocational or two-year or four-year or beyond).

Sorry, but Democrats are the party of the rich. Clinton had twice as much money as Trump for all the good it did her.

And the same money is on the left.

Just look at the hour by hour attacks on Trump by the "media". There were 3 separate threads on this site just cause Trump nominated a woman to be Surgeon General.

Republicans engage in truly filthy, nasty, politics. It's who they are: cheaters and liars. Look at trump. As disgusting a liar as he is, they still support him. they're hypocrites to the bone. Values, bible loving, pro-life, it's all a crock of shyte. They, republicans, are total phonies. Most real Americans know all of this. All the Dems, or a third party have to do is get organized, and run capable candidates. Lord knows, the GOP only runs corrupt, incompetent, clowns.

How much did trump say he was worth? Didn't he say he was funding his own campaign?

Well, turns out that was just another lie...

The Media is largely responsible for his "victory" - every time he spoke in the campaign, he was covered by the media - more than any other candidate. It was because of his shock value, I guess, but true.
I put victory in quotes, because he did lose the popular vote by a wide margin, which should be what matters.

Warren checks some of the important "progressive" blocks: dishonest, funded by Wall Street, a woman, millionaire. And she thinks she is an Indian Princess (just like gender, its all in your mind), so she has the royalty tab.

I love Warren. She has more intelligence and integrity than trump and all of the republican Congresswhores put together.

I'm an Independent, and I'd vote for Warren in a heartbeat. I'd even do some volunteer work to help her out.
