I have ran for public office as an independent three times.

In 2009 I decided to join Canada's Liberal Party partly because I really like the fact that Mr. Stephan Dion proved that his party takes climate change very seriously.

Also, I was extremely impressed by the way Mr. Michael Ignatieff responded to the 2009 budget. He termed it a relatively "liberal" budget considering that it was tabled by the Conservative Party and P. M. Stephen Harper.

It immediately became obvious that the centrist Liberal Party is the place where somebody would fit best who believes that our political opponents should be given credit....... if and when they actually deserve it.

Does P. M. Stephen Harper deserve credit for making it clear that he prefers the F-35 over any other jet?

After reading some on both side of the F-35 topic I wasn't sure what to think so I began a discussion with one of the articles promoting BRIC fighter jet technology.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/australia-nz-pacific/380300-analysis-f-35-accurate.html
Is this analysis of the F-35 accurate?

Should we Canadians and Australians demand that our F-35's be shipped to Israel…….. and debugged and modified by the I.A.F. before we make further payments on them?

    .....http://www.politicalforum.com/australia-nz-pacific/380300-analysis-f-35-accurate-6.html

(posts # 51 and #52 here........ impressed me as an excellent analysis of the F-35 and F- 22 Raptor).

    .......................
......… AboveAlpha has done an excellent job of answering my questions on this..... which leads me to the conclusion that on this particular question...… maybe P. M. Stephen Harper deserves some credit?

This link should take you right to post #436.... again on the subject of the F-35.

The F-35 is a military boondoggle that even the pilots don't want. Single engine planes are a serious mechanical safety problem waiting to happen, plus the price tag is way over blown considering the alternatives. It can't even bank properly.

I believe Canada would be better off with the F-18 Super Hornets and a few French Rafales.

    Excellent reply Jowade!

If…… the goal was "bang for your buck" I suspect that you might just be correct!

I personally am attempting to get people to think of a larger picture………. that includes a peaceful initiative to the entire Middle East that fulfills ancient Islamic and Jewish prophecies about the turning green of deserts in the "latter days/ last hour."

In order to accomplish this….. we need to take another look at money itself and certain flaws in how it is being created. Financing the much costlier F-35's is a good reason to inspire even Conservatives to take another look at the history of Canadian and American central banking policy.

    Valid points Cubed!

My point of view is somewhat different because I am trying to think of some way that the ethnic cleansing that is taking place in the Middle East could be slowed down and then stopped. One of the only ways that I can think of is by looking at money itself differently in order to finance a shift over to a literally greener economy.

Near death experiencer shown peace deal between Jordan and Israel is coming.

I read both of Dannion Brinkley's books about his two near death experiences back in the '90's.

Speaking of Quebec……. I actually did a youtube video a few years ago where I quoted somebody from there rather extensively who was presenting a pretty powerful case that a variation on economic genocide was being done on English speaking people living there.

The people that sing the praises of Russia's and China's latest fighters are just as partisan and blind as the people that sing the praises of the F35. In the case of the F35 its because they are trying to do the impossible and make a fighter that does everything with just one airframe. You cannot ignore physics. In the case of China and Russia they just suck because they only have a couple of prototypes and are incapable of making large amounts of them and frankly at least in the case of China their technology is almost always overblown. If you think the US industrial complex is inefficient and corrupt it doesn't even begin to compare to how bad Russia and China's military industries are.

I have a rather strange theory in mind that could make the F-35 seem like a quite reasonable purchase..... considering the alternatives.

What I have in mind though is like a game of chess and involves something of an "opening gambit."

    http://www.politicalforum.com/current-events/418381-could-we-canadians-stop-iran-deal.html

Could we Canadians STOP the Iran deal?

I am reading an article right now that theorizes that we Canadians...… might just be able to influence events in the USA to the point where by speaking out we actually STOP the obviously flawed Iran deal???????

I find it a little hard to imagine that we Canadians could have that much of an effect....... but then I remember the G-8 meetings from back in 2011 and................. wow!

I have read a powerful case that time branches and branches and branches...........

Up until a few days ago I had suspected that perhaps time would branch off..... maybe once a year....... but then I read another post by AboveAlpha............. and the implications are heavy indeed.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/showthread.php?t=411555&page=24&p=1065221418#post1065221418

To my thinking..... the implications of what the amazingly well informed AboveAlpha writes here..... is that time may well be branching and branching........... off into new time lines..... as often as once per week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dealt with the subject of non-linear time over in the Humor and Satire section........... partly because this subject is kind of mind boggling...........

    http://www.politicalforum.com/humor...2000-election-but-negates-global-dimming.html

In alternate time line Mr. Gore wins the 2000 election but negates Global Dimming....

I personally loved the film "An Inconvenient Truth." I have watched it four or five times at least. It played a huge role in my deciding to join a political party that takes climate change very seriously.

Largely due to his film I actually put in two submissions for The Virgin Earth Challenge.

I do have one criticism for his film though..... the diplomacy quotient was extremely low and America is more divided than ever partly because of the flavor of his film.
    ............…

post #4.....The ash, soot and dust that goes into the atmosphere from all those smoke stacks...… over the short term...… tends to mask/decrease a general global warming trend!!!!!!!!!

    ...…
    .....

    .....

post #7......Could a win by Mr. Al Gore in 2000 have led to America being 15% submerged under the oceans by January 1, 2013?

Time does look like a menorah....... or tree with branches and roots... … and is not confined to being a straight line...…

In theory....... Mr. Gore's policy could have ended up greatly decreasing the Global Dimming Effect..... at the same time that it might do little to reduce a general Global Warming trend.... which could lead to rapid warming.....and of course increased cracking and sliding on the land based Greenland Ice Pack.... the world's glaciers and the outer regions of Antarctica......

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and President Bush may have deliberately allowed somewhat bad policy to continue...… because they probably had been told that the factors that increase Global Dimming..... do tend to mask Global Warming.... .which could mean within five decades we may know that that they may have had a basically good idea..... in comparison to worst possible alternative.....??????!!!

I personally feel that Canada is in a perfect place from which to initiate a whole new level of cooperation between Canada - Israel and Jordan.

I would love to see P. M. Stephen Harper initiate some important parts of this even before the next federal election.

Just as P. M. Stephen Harper has built up an extremely good relationship with P. M. Netanyahu and with Israel........ so also Liberal Party Leader Mr. Justin Trudeau would, (in my opinion), be the perfect person to send to the nation of Jordan with another part of this same overall plan.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/canad...ts-take-937-those-syrian-refugees-canada.html

Mr. Justin Trudeau, let's take 937 of those Syrian refugees to Canada?

Mr. Justin Trudeau, I am truly impressed to see that you also met with King Abdullah of Jordan during his recent visit.

For years now I have been thinking that documentary, reality and semi-reality science fiction film projects can be used to address some of the massive problems that humanity is facing.

Hollywood has often dealt with the possibility that many theoretical physicists have postulated, that time itself may not be limited to being one straight line but instead may branch much like the limbs on a tree.

Let's imagine that a moment in 1939 can be recreated and we get to do a retake on Canada's decision regarding the M. S. St. Louis?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS_St._Louis

Theoretically, we could hire 937 refugees from Syria, who have fled to Jordan, as actors and actresses playing the role of the 937 refugees on the M. S. St. Louis, and we could give them two year contracts with a film production cooperative or company, that would make it easier for them to get through the immigration process. The nation of Jordan has taken in 1.5 million refugees so perhaps 937 of them can come to Nova Scotia to participate in a practice run at doing things differently this time around.

This P. M. from AboveAlpha was so relevant to this whole discussion that I asked if it was OK for me to post it here......

The idea that he expresses about Canada and the USA considering joining is interesting...................... I believe that we should consider ARTISTIC UNITY.......... and I will explain more about that a little later!

All next-gen aircraft have issues, and the F-35 is no exception. It will be a formidable aircraft once they get the kinks out, but it is so bleeding edge that that could take a very long time, and given their per airframe cost, plus the maintenance and training and systems support on top of that, they are unaffordable.

Our current gen F-18s are robust, adaptable, proven airframes able to take any number of modernization upgrades. Our military infrastructure, training system and pilot cadre are fully geared up to make optimum use of them, and they are good for another ten years plus. By then, the F-35's shortcomings will be addressed or obvious, and we can think then about them then.

I would advocate buying the 35 immediately only if I expected to go up against an air force equipped with them, and I don't want to even contemplate a situation where that might happen.

This is a phenomenal answer on this topic.

This is especially relevant to me because I actually initiated a campaign to attempt to become National Leader of Canada's Liberal Party back around 2012 or so and I will very possibly eventually initiate a campaign to become National Leader of the Conservative Party now that I have left the Liberal Party and joined them.

For the moment..... I will be attempting to the best of my ability to encourage Mr. Peter MacKay to toss his hat in the leadership race....... I believe that he would make a fantastic Prime Minister of Canada.... This is a crucial topic..... for many reasons.... one of which is Canada's relationship with Israel.

An F-35 is not merely a fighter jet......
from the point of view of the pilot...... it is also a stage......

from the point of view of a semi-reality science fiction film maker...... it is a prop.

.... potentially an off the scale valuable prop / stage .......IF...........
    P. M. Benjamin agrees with the basic idea put forward here......

I have one of the strangest theories buzzing around in my head that anybody has ever put forward
regarding how world peace could perhaps be attained?!

I personally feel that the analysis on the F-35 and F-22 Raptor that I quote in the opening posts of this
    discussion are accurate........
    and obviously.......
sales people for the competing war jets do not want it to become common knowledge that
nothing else on the market is in the same league as the F-35 and the F-22!

    This fact.........
could inspire those same sales people for all competing jets to
    try their best......
to ensure that full fledged combat against the F-35's and F-22 Raptors.....
    NEVER TAKES PLACE!

    The possible implications are huge!
