    Quid pro quo will continue until Palestinians stop being beggars and decide to negotiate with Israel directly rather then ask the UN for yet another powerful, condemning resolution. Until then - a state on the paper Palestine will remain.

    How can Palestine stop 'being beggars' when Israel does everything in its power to prevent Palestine from prospering in even a small way?

    Nonsense? I don't think so. Everything has to go through Israel.

    Stop killing civilians for Greater Israel and you won't have to worry about rockets (or rocks)?

    http://m.btselem.org/gaza_strip/israels_obligations

    "Thus, Israel cannot evade its legal responsibility to respect the human rights of residents of the Gaza Strip in those areas of life that Israel controls. Even after the disengagement, Israel continues to bear legal responsibility for the consequences of its actions and omissions concerning residents of the Gaza Strip. This responsibility is unrelated to the question of whether Israel continues to be the occupier of the Gaza Strip."

    Look! Someone supports firing rockets indiscriminately into Israel and uses the word "responsibility" in the same post. Perhaps the consequences of intentionally trying to harm women and children is to be contained.

    It appears to me that the bragging, deceitful and pro-Israeli fascist posts are generating far more opposition than they used to.
    Perhaps bragging, deceitful pro-Israeli fascists are useful after all.

    Control means responsibility (unless you're Jewish)?

    http://m.btselem.org/gaza_strip/israels_obligations

    "One source of the obligations imposed on Israel toward residents of the Gaza Strip is the laws of occupation, which are incorporated in the Hague Convention (1907) and in the Fourth Geneva Convention (1949).

    "These laws impose general responsibility on the occupying state for the safety and welfare of civilians living in the occupied territory.

    "The laws of occupation apply if a state has 'effective control' over the territory in question.

    "The High Court has held contrary to Israel 's claim, stating that the creation and continuation of an occupation does not depend on the existence of an institution administering the lives of the local population, but only on the extent of its military control in the area.

    "Furthermore, a certain area may be deemed occupied even if the army does not have a fixed presence throughout the whole area. Leading experts in humanitarian law maintain that effective control may also exist when the army controls key points in a particular area, reflecting its power over the entire area and preventing an alternative central government from formulating and carrying out its powers.

    "The broad scope of Israeli control in the Gaza Strip, which exists despite the lack of a physical presence of IDF soldiers in the territory, creates a reasonable basis for the assumption that this control amounts to 'effective control,' such that the laws of occupation continue to apply."

    No occupation?
    No rockets.

    According to Article 2 of the Fourth Geneva Convention that states that this convention will apply on territories that been taken away from High Contracting party" that controlled over it, and since no state did control Judea and Samaria (nor Gaza) in '67, hence the convention does not apply to such territories. Moreover, this convention and it's Article 49 does not apply since Article 49 was made to deal with the reality that was created in the World War II, as the official commentary of the Red Cross shows.

    So then- you are stating that the Conventions have been broken but that they do not apply to Israel.

    Was it really an Arab town? How then could the crusaders expel the Jewish inhabitants of the city in 1100? Magic?

    In a letter to his son Nahmanides - who immigrated to Palestine in 1267 - wrote that he could go to Hebron to dig for himself a grave there. That would have been unthinkable if a Jewish community - and a Jewish graveyard - didn't exist there.

    Some people should sue their history teachers.

    I said that the Fourth Geneva Convention, according to the convention's articles, is not applicable to Judea and Samaria and Gaza.

    So- you are implying that although the Conventions have been broken they do not apply to Israeli activities in Palestine.

    The convention was never applicable to these territories, so to imply that it is, is simply wrong, as the convention tells us.

    I told you this the last time that you trolled out the neoZionist narrative. Here it is again;

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_law_and_Israeli_settlements

    Israel is going to need thousands more shysters- and it will still lose.

    Meyer Lansky- as everybody knows- also believed that he was above the law;

    This is a "please put me on your ignore list" kind of post. I can't have a dialogue with someone who thinks a criminal is the victim of his victims.

    Your source is biased. The Christian organizations that funded it also fund far-left anti-Zionist organizations in Israel.

    Example of a bald-faced lie in the study:
    "The city of Hebron, which is of great religious significance to both Muslims and Jews, has been under Israeli occupation since June 1967"

    This was written in 2004, when 80% of Hebron was already under full control of the Palestinian Authority (area A - see the Hebron Protocol 1997).

    My post, however, was about your claims that Israel stole water and land from the Arabs. Prove it.

    You can also read Ibn Battuta and Rabbi Benjamin Tudlea and see what they have to say about Palestine in general and Hebron and Jerusalem in particular.

    Since 1967 the Israelis control the Jordan River, the Coastal aquifer and the northern aquifer. The Arabs are allowed 1/5th as much water as the Israelis. The Aquifers are severely polluted with heavy metals and ecoli measured in parts per thousand and the water table has dropped severely. Palestinians are not allowed to dig water wells.. They are refused permits. Several US universities have done studies since the early 1950s. The Laudermilk Plan and the Johnson Plan are two that I recall .. You might also want to start with The Hydrology of the Jordan Basin.. and do a follow up on why the Dead Sea has shrunken so far from its banks since 1967.

    Nonsense. Israel does not control Rafah crossing into Gaza.
