Just saying that doesn't make it true.

MoonFaker: The Penny Drops. PART 1

At around the 21 minute mark of this video footage from Apollo 11 can be seen played at double speed.

It can also be seen in this video at around the 30 minute 40 second mark.

I can't see how it does.

I fail to see your point. Please explain in more detail.

That's funny. When I look at it, it looks pretty clear that the flag is moving the way the flag in atmosphere moves in in the MythBusters experiment. It comes to a stop the way the MythBusters flag does.

MythBusters has been discredited as disinfo anyway.

If only you would take your own advice.

Here's something fun you (or anyone) can do. Thanks to the great wealth of video and photo documentation, you can compare published Apollo photographs to various moments in the published videos. Here, for instance:

    https://www.hq.nasa.gov/alsj/a14/AS14-66-9231HR.jpg
This appears to be around 23:30-23:40 in this video:

You could follow each image in the sequence at the ALSJ site: https://www.hq.nasa.gov/alsj/a14/images14.html

It's even cooler when both astronauts are taking pictures simultaneously. Like on Apollo 15 when they were digging the trench. There is video plus two sets of stills to examine.

Next photo, as we can see in the video, he moves a bit:
    https://www.hq.nasa.gov/alsj/a14/AS14-66-9232HR.jpg
    Around 23:55-24:00 in the video.

    I love it.

    Next up, from ALSJ:
At this point Ed passed the camera to Al Shepard. Note that unlike on Apollo 11 and Apollo 12 there are no pictures of the LMP descending the ladder.

AS14-66-9233 (OF300) ( 89k or 732k ) 114:45:46 Down-Sun portrait of Ed at the U.S. flag. Note that the top flap of the strap-on pocket on his left thigh is open and we can see the Velcro strips on the inside suface that mate with corresponding strips on the front of the pocket to keep the top flap secure.

Watch from 24:00 in the video to see how that went down. Looks like that snapshot is about 26:00-26:09

    This is just hand-waving.

    (excerpt)
    ---------------------------------
Hand-waving (with various spellings) is a pejorative label for attempting to be seen as effective – in word, reasoning, or deed – while actually doing nothing effective or substantial.

What do you purport to be proving?

Nothing, but I think it's nice having that corroborating evidence available, and it's just fascinating to get to see not only activities in motion, but high quality stills to go with them, for examining details.

Incidentally, there's more flag motion to obsess over in that Apollo 14 video, if you like. It moves when they touch the flag pole, doesn't otherwise, and again swings as per the Mythbusters vacuum experiment.

Please post a link to that.

I've got to go now. I'll be back in a day or two.

They start deploying the flag around the 20 minute mark.

I don't see any movement that's consistent with the movement in the vacuum in this video at the 00:50 time mark.

The swinging is in essence the same, with an unimpeded motion that slowly loses momentum, whereas when done in atmosphere, it stops much more quickly and the flag distorts a little bit (has a kind of sail effect).

When I look at it, it looks like it moves like the flag in the footage in air in our video. You seem to seeing what you want to see.

    00:18 time mark.

Anyway, the fact that the Apollo flag movement is the same as the movement of the flag on earth in atmosphere is shown at the 01:48 time mark of the video. Why are you ignoring this?
