Science is not authoritarian, because science allows for changes based on new information, and it allows for the existence of undiscovered information. Even our scientific "laws" are not always right. For example, dark energy goes against the laws of gravity and scientists do not now why or how.

Ironic since it is an economic and health question that you obviously don't know anything at all about!

Kneejerk denial on your part does not alter the scientific fact that no "human life" is formed if the DNA fails to split and recombine successfully.

    BZZZT Wrong yet again!

A fertilized ovum MIGHT result in a human life EVENTUALLY but it is not an absolute that it will.

Why do you insist upon spouting theist science denial positions if you allege that you are not a theist?

A human life has been created upon conception. Falsify that.

There is nothing theist about the fact that conception results in a human life. Falsify that.

Endlessly regurgitating your debunked opinion doesn't alter the FACT that your opinion has already been debunked on all levels.

Why did you not answer this question?

Why do you insist upon spouting theist science denial positions if you allege that you are not a theist?

It's more fun to allow you to do it to yourself.

Just to be clear, you think that my response to this question...

...this this was a political question, not a scientific one, is a failure? Please explain how.

...and it's even more weird that you keep repeating it......HOW do you know what others understand or not (???)! Crystal ball?

Do you actually think there are people who don't know what abortion does? Of course it ends a human life THAT IS WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO....good grief!

Onus is ENTIRELY on YOU to PROVE that it is a political question since you made that bogus allegation in the first place.

Well, I guess I owe FoxHastings a beer for providing a question that not only showed (in a thread about science) that not only does he think politics trumps science, but that you do as well. Frankly I'm surprised that so many Bill Nye types here, who "f-ing love science," can't distinguish science from a political agenda.

    So thank you!

...and I owe you a beer for reminding me once again how vapid and pointless some people's "arguments" can turn, how lying about other posters then becomes essential to them because haven't got much to talk about ...

    So thank you !

    That did NOT prove squat!

Try again, using FACTS this time instead of your erroneous opinion about other posters and myself.

Human life begins at conception. That is a non falsifiable statement.

And again the failure to falsify that human life begins at conception. Attempting to switch the subject is telling.
