Trump seems to have this problem with maintaining friendships with our historical allies - Great Britain, Mexico, Australia. All in less than 6 months. That's some foreign policy being demonstrated.

Or have an understanding of women's rights yet ignore what's happening to women and girls in Islam. In fact they cannot debate logically but must instead use their usual epithets of 'racist' etc. and will get behind any petty issue of the day they're instructed to support. They are not taught to think critically, and that is the fault of the education system in all the democracies. It is, like the Nazis, Communists and Fascists before them to just restrict free speech and eliminate debate altogether.

Look at their rabid faces when they riot, or scream at any opposition. These are no different from the faces Leni Rieffenstahl photographed during Hitler's rise to power.

 

There is no foreign policy being demolished. The problem is that many European leaders believed they were still dealing with another Barack Obama. America is the leader and they will eventually come to heel.

 

The far left allies with ANYONE who is against the West, US, Israel - they could be monsters from another planet who eat puppies - as long as they are against the current capitalistic structure. Many are unsuccessful professionally and personally, and they believe by destroying the current system they might be able to succeed in a different one. They'll never look at themselves, their lack of intelligence, work ethic, etc as a reason for their failings - its just easier to attack/blame someone/something else for it.

I should point out that certain groups like international answer, code pink, etc who represent this philosophy are often funded by anti-american/anti-western groups or organizations; putie boy's russia is but one example.

If my president isn't welcome in that cesspit they call a city, neither are my tax dollars. Trump should withdraw every non-essential federal employee from that pit, cancel every meeting, conference, and whatnot scheduled to be held there, and issue a travel warning for Americans stupid enough to want to visit there. Clearly this mayor is incapable of protecting that city and US citizens should avoid it while he's in office...

 

It shouldn't. The only thing "progressives" care about is power, so if they determine that crawling into bed with the Islamists who are also fighting their mutual conservative and libertarian opponents will help them gain and maintain power then the end justifies the means. It's straight out of Alinsky - all other considerations are secondary in their calculus.

Another thing you have to remember is that "progressives", like Islamists, are two peas in the authoritarian pod. Philosophically, progs have a lot more in common with Islamists and fascists that they do with the liberals (in the classical sense) who champion Individualism and everything associated with it.

I wouldn't be allowed to encourage any acts of violence against certain groups.
I could say "kill all ISIS".

Many of the rules surround, race and gender. Essentially hate preaching laws.
No race bashing, no gay bashing.
But also libel laws. I can't say damaging things about others publicly without leaving my self open for legal repercussion. Then we have advertising laws. I can't lie in what I say about my product.
Then we have secrecy laws, state secrecy and also corporate secrecy contracts.

Press blankets. Sensitive issues are not allowed to be reported. Court trials, military intelligence.. who knows what really.

Civil order laws.
I'm not allowed to use abusive language or be verbally aggressive to people.
I'm not allowed to swear at a police man who is arresting me.
Not allowed to incite riots or violence or murder.
Can't shout "kill him" at a fight.
Can't preach sedition. Can't call for a revolution.

But it's not just UK law in the internet. I can't make idle threats about the American President here either. British people go to American jails for that.


By and large I'm OK with it all. I don't mind the laws. No biggie.
I am aware that if a lefty crank takes offence to me he can make trouble for me, so I am mindful publicly, but in private I say what the hell I like. No thought police in my house.

 

That explains why so many Brits anonymously turn to the Internet to say those damaging and "offensive" things in public.

As for libel laws, most, if not all, nations have them, but the way your legal system handles libel laws has made the UK one of the preferred destinations for libel forum tourists who are abusing your system so they can silence citizens in other countries such as my own (USA). Things got so bad we had to pass a law denying comity with your libel forums in order to protect the speech that is protected under our Constitution.

Personally, I find your country's speech codes offensive. Can I sue your country for hurting my precious feelings?

The only responses I have ever come across to any of the terrorist attacks in Russia were condemnations of the government. If it isn't accusations against Vladimir Putin for having blown up apartment buildings for his own self serving interests, then it's that he didn't handle the situation correctly at Breslan.

And then we had the more recent terrorist attack in Russia, where the response was super limited compared to Paris or Brussels. This lack of sympathy didn't go unnoticed by the Russians, who went out of their way to lay flowers in Paris and Brussels.

Many Mexican illegals are gangs, drug lords, and human traffickers. M13 gang here from Mexico is one of the worst violent gangs on the planet.
