Terror attacks are “part and parcel of life in a big city," can be paraphrased as "Get used to terrorist attacks."

No, I'd prefer Britain severely restrict Muslim immigrants until thoroughly vetted, and intense surveillance of mosques and Muslim groups.

There is a reason to be alarmed....the government is powerless against terrorist and must commit extra police to provide protection.

That seems to support the theory that these are "Lone Wolf" attacks, meaning that there were over a dozen 'Lone Wolves' involved in the last attack in Britain and dozens of Lone Wold attacks taking place around the world every week. An alternative theory might be that there are Islamic groups who want to create a caliphate, and this is what they are openly claiming.

Most Muslims seem to have difficulty accepting these attacks are from Muslims, explaining them away, creating excuses for them, or denying they have any connection to Islam.

This is an interesting take from a former Muslims. The camera work is not that great but the message is clear.. I think it helps to understand the inner conflict we can see occurring whenever a debate is made with Muslims.

    Lone wolf or terror cells.

There isn't an Ayatollah at the top calling the shots they all march to.

I don't know any Muslims that are radicalised. My mates brother apparently is. Or so his family all say, laughing.
On the otherhand I do know multiple Muslims who have served in the armed forces. Who have been radicalised in a more socially constructive way.

Most Muslims are 100% innocent of these attacks. Most Muslims here, that is.
I will go as far as to say those who advance, rationalise or justify Islamic fundamentalism are fuelling the problems here. Trolling it, so to speak.
Keeping the angry agenda at the front of peoples minds. But I don't think it's a conscious decision on their parts. Not necessarily a view they would self identify themselves with.

With respect I've yet to meet a Catholic who self associates themselves with the IRA either. Likewise all football fans are not hooligans. It's not really the love of football that is to blame for hooliganism. It's not love of the Pope of God or allah, that makes these people do what they do.
It is just simply, hatred of us.

And me, I simply don't give a **** what your religion is. I don't give a **** what excuse you make, what your rationalisation or justification is at all. Mass murder is wrong. There are a million stupid ways to justify it, none of which I will accept from you, if those you seek to murder includes me or those I love.

Bomb my enemies however, and I will sing from a different hymn book. Completely.
Justify it and agree with it.

Well, after I noted--in response to your claim--that Christianity does not attempt to either "convert or kill," you spoke of "the Vatican" and "forced conversions" in post #619 in this thread--thereby associating the two.

If you really did not mean to imply an association between "the Vatican" and "Christianity in general," why, then, did you say this?

    Are you merely being disingenuous?

You have reading comprehension and logic issues.

I was not the one generalizing. The poster generalized to all of Christianity in the claim "Christianity does not convert of Kill"

I pointed out an example during WW2 where the Catholic Church in Croatia (with full knowledge of the Vatican) took part in genocide and forced conversions on Jewish and Orthodox Serbs.

Since the Catholic Church is part of Christianity this shows that the posters claim is false since some, in the name of Christianity, have participated in genocide and forced conversion.

Ya think so? The Queen's invitation to visit still stands, despite what the dull-witted leftists have to say.

It explains a lot. We can see Muslims calling other "fascists" while ignoring what's going on in their own religion, and the terrorism being carried out in their name. They do seem able to separate the two conflicting ideas about a religion of peace while indiscriminately murdering innocent people. Like many political beliefs especially the 'isms' of the last century, they can ignore the realities hoping their is a far greater good to follow. Of course we know that never really happens but millions may be killed while the brainwashed are carrying out their religious pr political fantasies.

North Korea has a much larger one. China probably does too. Ours is almost certainly the "strongest" in the common use of the word.

It still stands at the moment .
But Londoners have a long memory and he attacked the Mayor which means millions of Labour voters are p****d off with him and a large number will protest his visit if it happens.Remember their was a petition against him coming before he was elected and that attracted over a million signatures.

The British left seem to think they have some influence over US policies, or that anyone in the US even knows who they are or cares what they think. They're very much like the American left, which is to say the're not too bright.

Thomas Sowell wrote of "leftists, booted and spurred." I forget which book it was. He's brilliant always.

    [Bold added]

Are you arguing, then, from the specific to the general?

Using that logic, then we would have the following syllogism: major premise: Shirley is taller than Tom; minor premise: Shirley is a woman, whereas Tom is a man; conclusion: all women are taller than all men.
