Pres.Trump achieves more REAL PROGRESS in six months, than Pres.Mommy Pants did in 8 years.

China, U.S. agree on aim of 'complete, irreversible' Korean denuclearization

    BEIJING (Reuters) -
China and the United States agreed that efforts to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula should be "complete, verifiable and irreversible", Chinese state media said on Saturday, reporting the results of high level talks in Washington this week.

"Both sides reaffirm that they will strive for the complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula," a consensus document released by the official Xinhua news agency said.

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson had said on Thursday that the United States pressed China to ramp up economic and political pressure on North Korea, during his meeting with top Chinese diplomats and defense chiefs.

China's top diplomat Yang Jiechi and General Fang Fenghui met Tillerson and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis during the talks. Yang later met with U.S. President Donald Trump in the White House, where they also discussed North Korea, Xinhua reported.

The consensus document also highlighted the need to fully and strictly hold to U.N. Security Council resolutions and push for dialogue and negotiation, which has long been China's position on the issue.
Military-to-military exchanges should also be upgraded and mechanisms of notification established in order to cut the risks of "judgment errors" between the Chinese and U.S. militaries, the statement also said.

Chinese state media described the talks, the first of their kind with the Trump administration, as an upgrade in dialogue mechanisms between China and the United States, following on from President Xi Jiping's meeting with Trump in Florida in April.

Xi and Trump are next expected to meet again in Hamburg during the G20 Summit next month.

A ferry service is not weapons and military supplies, is it?

I doubt the Red Chinese will care a it if Russia wants to start feeding the starving people of NOKO...that ain't weapons, or nuke components...

Now we have an agreement to de-nuke them with Red China.

GW Bush actively worked to isolate, and cripple them , naming them in his "axis of evil", after Clinton had agreed to GIVE THEM REACTORS. Then Obama did his usual Nothing/Grab Ankles.

Well done President Trump. Let's all hope (for all our and our childrens' sakes?) that he'll pull it off.

I'd have to talk with my brother to know if this is for real or they are just giving Trump face. My thoughts are they aren't going to do much but I don't know that. They may decide their third cousins are too much trouble and in the end will create too much mischief as in a regional or even global war.

Key word in the article is "aim"...........publicity for Trump's Chinese reach around. Smoke & mirrors, a lot like some of the EOs. This gets solved when it's in China's best interest period.

There's no upside to a nuclear N. Korea. China doesn't need Kim. China wants US trade relations to remain intact. Trump has a plan of action that's producing results.

List the results please? AFAIK, he did get those Trump & family trademarks and all trade with China are lynch pinned by American corporate investment so trade will not be touched between the two countries, it was pure bluster. China holds the majority of US debt (Trump's as well ;)), joined at the hip and China has not peaked. Trump has zero leverage over China and he made that clear when he dropped his pants a few month's back and puffed.

The United States could completely collapse the entire Chinese Economy is a WEEK!!

    AND THE CHINESE KNOW IT!!

Golden Rule of Lending Money....NEVER LEND MONEY TO ANYONE OR ANY GROUP YOU CANNOT FORCE PAYMENT FROM!!!

The U.S. could refuse all incoming Chinese Exports and stop all payments and 7 days later TOTAL CHINESE ECONOMIC COLLAPSE!!

Consider the world's (economic markets) reaction to this and how that affects US multinationals. You post is very narrowly focused, China & the US are joined at the hip.
