I agree. I didn't vote for them, Bush in '04 and the other two. I said I was a Republican, not a robot. I don't automatically vote Republican. Trump is one he!! of a good example of that.

To be honest, I am a moderate. Moderates don't really have a party anymore. The GOP is ruled by the lunatics who voted for Trump. The Dems don't have a leader but the socialist, Sanders, is getting a lot of play along with the supporters of BLM and sanctuary cities. Where do moderates go? I have no idea.

His administration is mired in controversy and possible collusion with an enemy power. He is actively involved in his 2020 re-election campaign. He has not signed one significant piece of legislation. He is being attacked more and more by members of his own party. He is making a mockery of the Office of President. Everything is a big joke to him. He does not care.

The people who voted for this man are foreign. They are foreign to American values. They voted for Trump because they wanted someone who would seriously damage the federal government. That is exactly what Trump is doing.

I consider Trump's antics for more serious than any other issue on the horizon. He is destroying the American Presidency. Look at this video from the standpoint of the leaders of Canada, Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, and Russia! Do you really think they will just laugh it off or do you think, after his disgusting tweets this week, that they will become even more convinced that Trump is a buffoon? It is not just the video. The real issue is the entire picture of the Trump Presidency. For crying out loud, he is already running for re-election.

This is not about concealed weapons or the Second Amendment. I know Trump's friends are dying to change the subject, but this thread is all about Trump's disgusting tweets followed by the disgusting video he posted on his Twitter account.

 

Even if that were true, there is a significant difference between the two issues.

I think it was in 1990, I had tickets for the N.Y. Yankees vs. the Angeles at Anaheim Stadium. Hard tickets to get.

Before the game you go to the Catch, a restaurant across the street from Anaheim Stadium on Katella Ave to have a few drinks and something to eat.

The place is packed and who walks in ? McMahon with two hot young ladies hanging on each of his arms. Knowing that McMahon was married and these two young ladies weren't his wife they were either call girls or part of his entourage of groupies. They were hot and they knew it and so did McMahon.

If you have been following what those who have been there and done that for the past fifty years or so in geopolitics, wars, etc. like Henry Kissinger, Pat Buchanan, Admirals and Generals like "Mad Dog" Mattis, yes it's a good thing. It has our enemies and all of the world leaders watching their six and not knowing if they take a jab at President Trump and expecting a right hook, instead Trump responds with a upper left hand punch.

Even Vladimir Putin is facing the biggest challenge in his life, Donald Trump. Unlike Barack Obama when Putin got in his face, Obama blinked and went looking for a "safe space."

President Trump took punitive action against Syria when they used chemical weapons and bombed a Syrian air force base catching Putin and Syria off guard and to scared to react.

President Trump repealed Obama's politically correct Rules of Engagement that favored our enemies and has caused thousands of American troops to bleed and die in the name of political correctness.

Then President Trump used a freaking huge politically incorrect bomb in Afghanistan sending a message to our enemies and our allies that America is # 1 and is no longer on the sidelines but we are back in the game after eight years sitting on the bench.

The real puppets of Putin are the anti Trump obstructionist in America. Think about it.

 

I'm not excusing him, but I don't care about it much. What I care about are issues of war and peace first, as I consider the NK problem to have the potential to lead to our first use nuclear weapons since WW2. I also care about not getting enmeshed in the Syrian civil war. To a lesser degree I care about the other domestic issues that face our country.

Never fear, Sandy. One day there will be another president, and I'm sure he or she will be presidential, and everyone who cares so much about that will be able to breathe a big sigh of relief. But, for now, it looks like Trump is going to be Trump, and so I just don't see any use in fixating on it because there's nothing we can do about it. I would much rather that the media and we, the American people, focus on the things that really matter. We have some serious issues we're facing whose outcomes will far outlive the Trump administration, effecting our children and grandchildren.

We need to focus on what really matters.

 

Seth, I care about those things, too. Those things require outstanding leadership we Americans should have from our President. We are not getting that leadership from Trump. Leaders abroad like May, Merkel, and Macron are dismissing him and seeking new leadership especially after he withdrew the U.S. from the Paris Accord. Putin is pleased with Trump and finds amusement by making digs at American leadership and discord. Putin is thoroughly enjoying himself where Trump is concerned. That should be of some concern to you.

The White House and Kellyanne Conway are urging the press to concentrate less on Trump's official Presidential statements (tweets) and more on his accomplishments, which are in short supply. What a joke. The President has made a complete fool of himself this week, and the White House and Conway are blaming the press? Give me a break.

Come to think of it, the whole Trump White House is a joke. Seth, you want Americans to concentrate on the important things. Trump is even making a fool of himself on the important things. What is the most important thing on the domestic agenda right now? Trumpcare. Trump called the House version "mean," and he threw a monkey wrench into the Senate version by telling Senators to repeal the ACA immediately and pass Trumpcare later. That even conflicts with Trump's promise to Americans about healthcare.

Seth, how are we suppose to concentrate on the important things when our President doesn't know what those important things are?
