If you really want to compare Russia with the US then look at the difference between Eastern and Western Europe until the Russian system finally, thank God!, collapsed. Talking about American crimes is popular? I have not seen here a single thread about it. You are cunning.
As for Europe. What you call Russian system- is not Russian, it is Soviet system. Russia existed long before invention of communism and socialism (by the way, by Germans) and will exist long after collapse of the system. Second, Russians did not kill anyone who tried to escape from East- you have no proof for that as it is not true. All the guarding services of the Berliner Wall between East and West Berlin was done by German forces. All the Soviet military troops that were located in Germany were not on the borders but in the middle of East Part of Germany.
And last, but not the least. This thread is not about crimes of Soviets, but about film that glorifies those criminals who supported fascists. Are you trying to argue the verdict of the Nuremberg tribunal here with respect to these monsters?

Berlin airlift of 49 comes to mind, had it not been for that stalin may well have been at the English channel.Back then, US had roughly 25-30000 troops in western sector/Germany, whereas east Germany there were upwards of 400000 Soviet troops.

 

They were guarded by German troops....on order...by Soviet govt..to shoot at any deserters, dissenters, etc. So in essence the Russians pull the trigger. And had those orders given by Soviets not be carried out, they probably would have been shot.
