Well you can take it up with the authorities who make these judgments as to whether they were criminal or not.. Unfortunately your position on this matter does not carry much weight in any court of law anywhere.

Did you know that the Japanese tried to bomb mainland American cities with balloons during WWII? They succeeded in killing a pregnant woman and five children.

It is actually up to you to make your government recognise mistakes of past as mistakes and fix them, or avoid repeating them in future.

And do not try hiding behind Hirohito - your government does not recognises war crimes of it's predecessors who operated in 40th of past century. You have a problem. You asked for example - of war crimes of USA - they been given to you. Massacres, comitted on the orders of government of USA. Denial of their war crime status does not makes them less of a crime.

And I assume you can make a calculation of where such denial leads.

Their argument seems similar to the Germans after WWII when no one was a Nazi. It wasn't the Germans, it was the Nazis. This is now being used similarly in that it wasn't the Russians who committed these terrible crimes, it was the Soviets - as though the the orders didn't come from the Kremlin in Moscow.

The bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima has been debated for decades with the recognition generally held that it was necessary to put a quick end to the war, that no further Allied lives be lost.
    Why would I do that?
No, you've offered your opinion and that's all. Your saying it was a 'war crime' doesn't make it a war crime.
    Where do these denials lead?

From Allies point of view. Thankfully we live in XXI century, Allies are thing of past and we are not oblieged to follow their hypocricy of giving to life of Ally soldier more worth than to life of Japanese civilian. The losses of Japanese in these bombings of killed alone are 184.000-446.000 - possibly surpass military KIA casualties of USA in WHOLE Second World War - 405,399. For each USA SOLDIER killed in ALL THE TIME OF THIS WAR at least one JAPANESE CIVILIAN have been murdered in the bombings of Tokyo, Hiroshima and Nagasaki ALONE.

It did not bringed faster end to war - if forced Japan to capitulate in face of highly rising civilian casualties and threat of further destruction of cities, one by one. After Hiroshima - was Nagasaki. After Nagasaki would've been third city. And fourth. And fifth. It would've continued until Japan stops fighting - no matter how many lives it would've took. It took few hundred of thousands of unarmed, unprepared people - men, women, elders, infants. Newborns.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombing_of_Tokyo
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_bombings_of_Hiroshima_and_Nagasaki
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_military_casualties_of_war

You gave example of japanese bombing USA with balloons. You assume it being a crime. What your government did - is no lesser crime than that.

One of other things - your government gave amnesty to members of Unit 731. War criminals guilty of experiments on humans - children included. People, who had to be punished - your government took under protection.

Your government have comitted war crimes. Your government denies them. You got a problem.

It leads to crime being repeated, comitted again and again, until it recognised as one and stopped from repeating.

Well, yes. Which other view should the Allies have considered?
Which explains why Russia doesn't have any Allies.
Yep! It was a big mistake for Japan to attack the USA and, if given a second chance, they would probably not have done such a crazy thing..
That's all true, if the US had any more bombs, and why it certainly did bring a faster end to the war. You managed to contradict yourself in your very first sentence.
No, I mentioned it only as an interesting bit of wartime trivia.
    And what problem is that?
Given that the Japanese have been very peaceful since WWII it's unlikely they'll be bombed by the US during our lifetimes.

Same can be said for the attack on Finland by the SU, which was a false flag attack, used to try to incorporate it into the SU.[/QUOTE]
No it can not. Which cities in Finland were bombed to the ground in Finland? Not a single one. It is even not comparable by losses: while in Dresden bombing about 30000 civilians were killed, in Finland for the whole war there was 25000 soldiers (and not civilians) killed.

So, you do not see problem with saving criminals from earned punishment, do not see anything wrong in bombing civilians, do not see anything wrong in mass terror, do not know that Soviet Union was part of Allies, do not know that Allies do not exist since 1945, and foolishly assume that Japan is only country your government can inflict a massacre on.

Makes me wonder about what kind of person I am talking to. Did you ever had a mother? Have you ever went to school? What kind of moral values you been raised in?

What history of US you are talking about? Russia existed long time before US was created. There is eventualy no history and culture in the US.
Sure, americans had hatred to Nazis... But did a single bomb of German airforces dropped on any city in the US? Has any Jew who lived in the US suffered from Nazis? Has any village in the US was burnt to ground during that war? How many americans finished in Nazi concentration camps. You americans do not know what is war because you did not have a war on your territory in 20th century. So hatred to Nazis is a weak argument to justify bombing Dresden.
You talk to the victims of Soviet regime. Have you ever talked to the victims of Nazism? You have not even been to any former soviet republics, have no personal experience, and consider crap that is written in some books by the authours who do not even speak the local language and experts in the field as the final truth.
I did not talk about Katyn. I talked about Krakow. You do not know the difference? You talk about killing of the military people in Katyn and meanwhile keep silence about killing civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki where much more people was killed.
US troops in Europe is to protect US gegemony in Europe. If you ask Germans, they do not want your troops in their country.
One of them, Sobo, actually told about it here in forum.

There is not much migration from Russia now, compared to 90s after collapse of USSR. You can not judge how people live there since you have never been there. All BS that is published in the yellow press is not a source of knowledge.

You do not know the history of USSR. How can you comment on this? Kremlin... Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union and its Presidium consisted of people of different nationalities. And Stalin was, by the way Georgian, and not Russian.

Is the Kremlin not located in Moscow? Was Stalin not the ruler of Russia? You're clearly getting desperate.

So what that Kremlin is Moscow? Stalin was Georgian and you talk about him as about Russian.
There was no even notion at the time- Russians. They called people Soviet citizens, or Soviet people. Cleary- you have no clue to the realities of Russia and Soviet Union.

    "Killed all people" is inaccurate.

"Killed most Bolsheviks" (Which, imo, is a good thing) is a better statement.

Kremlin is a landmark. Firs of all, government of USSR were not resigning in Kremlin - Presidium resigned in b3 on Delegatskaya street, where currently located museum of folk arts, Supreme council of RSFSR - the actual government of Russia during the period of Soviet Union - in White House of Krasnopresnenskaya waterfront, the Central Commetee of Communist Party of Soviet Union - in b4 on Old Square.

The Congresses of CPSU, since XXII Congress in 1961 were gathering in Kremlin, every five years. Prior to that they were gathering in several other cities of Soviet Union, with first - found one - being gathered in Minsk.

The fact that majority of governmental organs of Soviet Union were located in Moscow does not makes them nationally russian. Communist Party was not formed on national basis, it was formed by ideology - consisted of people from all soviet republics.

And no, Stalin was not a ruler of Russia, Stalin was a General Secretary of Communist Party of Soviet Union. He never went through any sort of election by people. He, after retirement of Lenin, emerged as head of Communist Party through the inner competition with Lev Trotskiy and his supporters. At that point Communist Party already was out of control of people of ex-empire, being them russians or any other nationality.

If you, somehow, were not aware of that - be welcome to enlighten yourself about HOW history went, and what and how have happened in SU.

First of all, there were not called "Bolsheviks" at that point, they were just communists.

Second, and most important - they did not attacked members of administration of Soviet Union, being it local government, or members of high ranks of Communist Party. They attacked regular soviet soldiers and civilians - not even in a time of war. They took path of terror, thivery and murder.

Their intentions were somewhat noble - just as at theire core inentions of ISIS suicide bomber are somewhat noble. Both are, never the less, terrorists. While this occupation was unlawful - glorifying terrorists just because they were on opposite side of conflict - is ill.

In any formal debate the side that is "clearly getting desperate" is the side that attempts
to change the subject of the debate, and that, both YOU and Zoomy have done Mr Dobbs

It is strange how a thread that would make Hero's of a bunch of NAZI collaborators, evil
people who gleefully engaged in the rank bloody murder of innumerable innocent Jews,
so quickly devolves into a foaming at the mouth, Hate Russians Carnival. Desperately
trying to kick up the Dirt of long dead regimes, when this uncomfortable FACT has been
    .....................................................................................................................ced to their attention

But then this desperation becomes perfectly understandable, given that these exceptional
people and their "Military Industrial Complex" have need for credible enemies to justify
and maintain their bloated dead body DOD budget. A budget which delivers to the animated
.....corpse of the Amerikink Corporate Vampire Empire, all the innocent blood necessary to
.............................................preserve the Obscene levels of Power and Profit that sustains them.

The same technique has been used by the Powers that Be, since time immemorial,
and still it works with the useful Idiots. - And they do it with the same shameless dissemination
    ...........................................................................................of Lies, Propaganda and Provocation

The tried and true formula - Inflate the Fear - Pump up the HATE - send the unwashed
Puppets into a paranoid and Fascistic Nationalistic frenzied dance of death.
WORKS EVERY TIME with a dumb'd down and malleable constituency

And how quick our resident RussoPhobes marionettes are to hop to this tune,
    T
his War Mongers Death Gabot, being played by their Insane power crazed
Puppetmasters - These are the same malignant manipulators who have clearly stated
their Criminal intent to exercise "Gobal Hegemony" and "Full Spectrum Dominance"

Only this time I fear a gross miscalculation has been made. For this time the subject
and aim of their Hate / Fear program, is not some defenseless third rate power like Libya
.....or Iraq. - This time they have chosen a Nation that is armed to the teeth and has all the
.........................................................means necessary to make a punctual Surprise delivery.

The fools provoking this HATE, display a disturbing Ignorance of even recent History and
fail to realize that the Target of their ire may suffer from certain justified Paranoia's of their
own and can easily be pushed into a calculus that involves a massive First Strike .
They seem to have no Idea, nor do they care of the risks they take with YOUR lives

    Well -
    G
ood Luck to these Washington/Tel-Aviv Idiots, and to their dancing Sock Puppets
They may very well end up looking perversely ridiculous as Gas Bubbles inside of an
Irradiated mass of Glass lying on the Scorched Floor of a forever ruined Civilization

stalin wasn't the ruler"? He was general secretary? sure, lets get back to the "ruler" bit , which he was after stalin, all decisions were made solely by him and him only, all executions, deportations, disappearances, were by all reasonable speculation, and doubt, were ordered by him, the rest is BS.

really, and yet they usually are the first, or somewhere in between to be called upon , everytime theres some strife in the world vis? Imagine that? who calls on the muscovites? Other than other muscovites caught behind the lines in former republics, because their "rights" are being violated, no pun intended.
