NYT Refuses to Publish Dershowitz's Defense of Trump.....

The New York Times recently refused to publish liberal Alan Dershowitz’s op-ed in defense of President Trump. Dershowitz, an avid supporter of two-time presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, is well-known in cable news and legal commentary, and has appeared in conservative and liberal outlets alike, including CNN, The Washington Post, Washington Times, Fox News and the Times itself.

In an interview with the Washington Examiner, Dershowitz discussed his multiple attempts to contact editors at the Times and his belief that the once-unbiased newspaper looks exclusively for certain opinions to publish.

"I said that I thought the readers of the New York Times were entitled to hear or read the other side of the issue whether there were crimes committed...And I really do think The New York Times does not want its readers to hear an alternative point of view on the issue of whether or not Trump administration is committing crimes,” he said of the op-ed he submitted to the Times, offering a different point of view.

On Fox News, Dershowitz broke with Democrats and their claim that Donald Trump Jr. broke the law amidst his meetings with Russian lawyers, citing the campaign finance policy language that bars acceptance of items of “value” from foreign nations for the sake of a campaign.

Even left-leaning outlets such as The Washington Post publish diverse opinions from Dershowitz and others on the Left and Right, but The New York Times seems to have a strict agenda, only publishing scathing op-eds which defame the president......snip~

Imagine that.....the Satire newspaper the NY Times don't want people to know the truth. Guess they have to try to hold onto their liberal customers some way. What say ye?

 

Dershowitz, a native New Yorker, born in Brooklyn, and who attended Brooklyn college? That Alan Dershowitz, can't get published in the NYT? He defended OJ Simpson and the NYT couldn't print enough of Dershowitz legal opinions.

Like many american Jewish people, Dershowitz is a sound liberal and progressive, up until the subject becomes Israel, where he transforms into a nazi.

 

Knowing about "criminal activities" for decades and not disclosing them to the authorities is a crime in and of itself. Lest we forget, they threw everything and kitchen sink at him during the campaign to prevent him from winning.

Don't get your hopes too high, "we'll nail him any day now" is the most widespread TDS symptom.

 

Didn't the leftists love them some Dershowitz during that trial! The NYT as a quick google reveals, hung on his every word ... libs have since instead become uber infatuated with the Kardashians. Alan should consider dressing in drag if he wants to find acceptance at the Times.

Wouldn't the NYT have been smarter to publish the facts of these 'criminal activities' during the election campaign, or are you praising them for sitting on the news?

 

There are few Leftists to be admired but one of them would be Alan Dershowitz and the other Kirsten Powers. They stand out only because, even if disagreeing, both make efforts to be honest.

The Left knows their "heroes" are far, far greater criminals and liars than Trump but they choose to pretend it is no big deal.
The Left is intent on winning elections and fooling the public about who is the real bad guy here, that is their salient motive.

In other words, the Left does not care if there will be divine judgement at the end of their lives, they prefer to be totally naive about that and let their egos make all the decisions for them. To me, that is the definition of a 'fool.'

 

Anyone who suggests Dershowitz isn't qualified to offer a definitive legal opinion on constitutional provisions is being disingenuous.
