The Founding Fathers understood that our society will only work with a well educated and informed electorate that is dedicated to the welfare of We the People first and foremost. They placed capitalism UNDER the regulation of the government and the Law of the Land. They started public libraries, enacted healthcare and regulated firearms and their owners. Above all they they grasped the concepts of Unity and Compromise as the means by which to govern ourselves.

I have no idea what Manafort may, or may not have been guilty of a decade ago. No one with any common sense believes there's a trail that winds from a campaign in 2016 to Manaforts loans on properties years prior. Deutsche bank isn't going after anyone. They've just had to surrender 40 pages of financial records in response to a subpoena. Look for Deutsche bank to start lodging complaints over team Muellers over reach.

Interestingly enough, Manafort does seem to have a colorful past. As I allude to earlier, Manafort had previously come under Muellers scrutiny for lobbying, and campaign influence. Either Mueller wasn't very good at his job 10 years ago, at the height of his career ... or, Manaforts activities weren't illegal back then, and aren't likely illegal now. No reforms, or new legistation arose as a result of Muellers first investigation ... so Manafort was essentially green lighted by Mueller years ago.
