With Russia Sanctions Bill, Congress has Just Begun World War 3 - The Missiles will fly within month

I am really just curious who KNOWS that stuff about themselves, and who does not.

Let's all pray that cooler heads prevail and that neither side decides to go to war. Any exchange of nuclear weapons would have a devastating effect on the planet quite possibly reducing the human species to a minor or even extinct one.

We'll see. I know there are still several non-corporate stores remaining around my home. Others have went away. The "Смак" minimarket in apartment block next to mine that been there for last twenty or so years, the grocery store five minutes away called simply 'grocery store' that been there for few years, the "Тысяча Мелочей" and "Океан" stores that been there since the 1960th, the flower shop that been there for last ten or so years, where I bought the pot ficus that died after that.

Sure, "nobody" will be harmed by even more sanctions. No banks strangled, no enterprises dependant on them collapsing. Right.

 

No, it will not lead to nuclear war because Hilary Clinton lost.

The sanctions are as much an attack against the EU as Russia and the primary motives are money. For example, to force the EU to lift its ban on genetically modified foods on behalf of Monsanto and to try to force Europe to by American and Saudi oil and gas rather than from Russia.

The REAL results will be less dramatic and more spread across time. An example is Iraq asking Russia to send troops and political personnel to Iraq. The EU will move increasingly from the American sphere to the Russian sphere, and Russia, China, Iran, N. Korea will increasingly become economic allies.

The push of such countries and others to remove oil and the world economy off of the US dollar will become stronger. If that ever happens, the USA economy will crash vastly worse than the great depression as our money - or rather IOU debts - become worthless. The result would be radical 3rd world level inflation and massive lost of jobs. Retirement accounts and investment funds essentially worthless as well.

The goal of the sanctions? Massive short term profits and jobs. The long term result? Economic isolation and collapse.

If there is military action it won't be world war. It will be Russia arming adversaries where now it is only old and limited equipment. Advanced night vision, shoulder mounted anti-air missiles, top-end sniper rifled, difficult to detect mines, and particularly powerful small bombs. If truly angered, giving Iran and N. Korea advanced ballistic missile and miniaturization nuclear bomb technology and key components. Many countries would pay royally for such equipment and Russia could revive its defense industry - and jobs and profits of it - by doing so.

Clearly, Russia will become the oil and gas supplier to China. I anticipate that the EU will essentially say "of course we'll comply" - and then completely ignore the sanctions.

In a sense, the sanctions are a declaration of economic warfare against the entire rest of the world. While it will take a while, the rest of the world will win. This may well be the last major hurrah of the USA capitalizing on post WWII power.

I am not surprhised by your attitude, but have high doubts you are "not giving damn about Russia", considering your comment was "it's less than it deserves". It means you want more. So I pointed to you and how pathetic and pointless it is, and remembering you explaining your motivation in other thread in the past - I pointed at futility of your efforts. Past cannot be rewritten, and every tear and every curse that your actions will lead to will return to you.

 

The US defense industry, military contractors and intelligence community want Russia to saber rattle to then justify trillions of dollars in military spending on weaponizing space. The Cold War is massively profitable to the rich and gives massive power to the intelligence agencies. They wanted to stop President Trump reaching detente' with Russia and instead to massively expand the Cold War against Russia for the money, jobs and power.

 

Hilary Clinton repeatedly vowed to go to war against Russia, the intelligence community and military said to hell with that and blew her out of the election, leaving only blocking Trump reaching detente' with Russia the last chore.

Since Clinton said we must go to war against and destroy Russia, you dutifully agree. No surprise. With Clinton, the Democratic party became the warhawk neocon party of the elite super rich, intelligence community, big oil, big banks and the defense industry. Thus, you are obligated to do the same.

 

If by chance Russia decided to play proxy war the result would be America and much of the world no longer playing relatively nice-nice. Russia would soon be crippled economically and China is going renewable for the most part so Russia really has nothing to offer them.

It is important to remember that our current President will be replaced shortly and his minions have begun to notice his weakness.

The naive message is yours. We are invading, attacking and bombing numerous countries. The sanctions have nothing to do with Crimea. They are about $$, intelligence, defense industry and military jobs, and power by fear mongering - nothing else.
