For me, watching TV is sometimes a good way to relax and wind down. I watch Expedition Unknown, The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, Preacher, and a few cooking shows (Love the cooking shows so much, like Diners, Drive Ins and Dives!). What about you? What do you like to watch?

I don't watch a lot on TV, but we've been following Game of Thrones. And I watch the NASCAR races on the weekends.

I've never watched Game of Thrones, though I've heard a lot about it. I also like the show with Jeremy Wade where he catches all the weird fish, River Monsters. Very interesting show.

I watch Anthony Bourdain sometimes too. I also watch the other guy who eats weird foods. I can't remember his name right now.

I'm watching all sorts of summer fare...

    Game of Thrones of course.

The Strain on FX. It's a "vampires are monsters" take on vampires as opposed to the more current, "vampires are hot and brooding."

Midnight, TX on NBC. It's like a PG True Blood. There seems to be more supernatural characters in this small town than you can shake a stick at.

Preacher on AMC. Too crazy to give a good summary in a sentence, or a couple of paragraphs.

Salvation on CBS. It's the end of the world as we know it, but everyone is still getting laid and lying to each other. Asteroid heading to Earth in 6 months, how to stop it?

Blood Drive on Syfy. Absolutely the worst show on the air, and that includes any possible definition of worst, however I feel I have to see this to the end.

Dark Matter on Syfy. Really good space opera about a bunch murdering, thieving mercenaries trying to be better.

I was always interested in the idea of the show Dexter (where the psychopathic murderer is actually a detective - interesting!), and I wanted to watch it, but I just never got around to seeing it. I should probably check that one out one of these days.

Preacher is totally crazy! Lol! That's probably why it keeps us interested though! The first episode was by far the best one though, I have to say.

I wish they had more episodes of meat eater. It's a guy that hunts and fishes and shows different recipes for game. I enjoy the show because it isn't ate up with sponsorships. Lots of emphasis on appreciation of the outdoors, random thoughts and stories past.

I watch this show where a guy grills things. It's a PBS show. He uses grills in lots of interesting ways. He also has grilled things on just rocks right on the fire before. He has cooked things made out of game meat before.

Game of Thrones is amazing. I read the books a long time ago and the adaptation is really well done.

Other than that, Walking Dead, Fargo, History Channel (stuff like Oak Island, mystery stuff, ancient cultures, etc), Vikings....

Currently I'm enjoying the Twin Peaks reboot, but Twin Peaks is a little.....strange.....and not for everyone ;)

I've been catching up with my Star Trek I've not seen before, Enterprise...

I've just finished watching 2 in a row.

I'm not watching them in order, I started with the pilot episode, but have all seasons at my fingertips.
I've seen how this show ends, I know how some on going plots climax watching it a lot etc... etc...

Still finding episodes I haven't watched though.

Expedition Unknown is on right now on the Travel Channel. I find that show to be pretty interesting. I like the locations and learning about the history of the places he is visiting. Also, he hunts for treasure!

I've found in Springfield, OR ('The real home of The Simpsons')
    A bunch of fun Simpsons like stuff from town founder statues to the scenery of the trees there;

    Then I've found
    • great for running - I can use my running app and geo track this trail they have.
    • 2 guitar shops in town, 1 looks very interesting.
    • 1 guitar repair shop, I feel I've lucked out with this business and may have found a new best friend in OR if it all works out, that's how excited I am about finding this business - I'd visit it, just to say hello, and if I spoil my self with a new guitar, buy the parts, use him to get my guitar ready as I'd be in town and pay him to ship it back to England for me - I want to 'pop in so much' that I establish a workable relationship with this guy in Springfield to do this and ship it back to .
    • I hear tale of this water park there that among the sliders and waves pool boast hot tubs.
and y'know, Instagram, facebook, say I've done Springfield.

I also want to treat myself to a 5 star weekend in Portland while I'm at it, like a vacation in a vacation.
I'm from London, I want to see what city life is like in this part of the world, and shop and sight see in the day.
Be in my night hotel downtown posh/swanky part of town at night, fit from running in Springfield and groomed (because I'm shallow) and me with my charming self, British accent and all... I want to try my luck, go on the pull, in a really fancy hotel in Portland. treat myself to all that before back to that dive in Springfield I want for it's location is WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE of where I want to rent my car from and my flight I want gets in at 11 pm and I'd have been in transit for 16 hours (4 hours spent waiting at Salt Lake City Airport) - take a taxi from the airport to the motel, check in, sleep and then rent my car that day - photos of outside featured this geographical mountain/hill I see they've got that I like, but every review called it a dive, it's a dive, but I want it. - I want it to also combat the post holiday blues when I do go home.
In the end, I want to look forward to coming home again and I figure I'd miss a dive of a room a whole lot less, but I'd still be able to watch TV and try American snacks in it.
