Leaked transcript shows Trump begged Mexican prez to stop saying he'd never pay for the wall

“On the wall, you and I both have a political problem,” Trump told Peña Nieto. “My people stand up and say, ‘Mexico will pay for the wall,’ and your people probably say something in a similar but slightly different language… I have to have Mexico pay for the wall — I have to. I have been talking about it for a two-year period.”

Peña Nieto, however, was resistant to this and again insisted that his government would not pay for the wall.

“My position has been and will continue to be very firm, saying that Mexico cannot pay for the wall,” he told Trump.

“But you cannot say that to the press,” Trump insisted. “The press is going to go with that, and I cannot live with that.”

The begging and whining he did while on the phone to Mexico and Australia is simply unreal.....and sad. The man is a total embarrassment to the office and only cares about his appearance of "strength". He really needs to be busy with the job he has been entrusted with by Russia .

 

Even more bizarre is that someone is recording your POTUS' personal phone conversations with foreign leaders.

That's not bizarre in the slightest. During each of these communications with foreign leaders, both sides will record and transcribe the conversation because each side will put intelligence officers to analyze what was said and not said by the other side.
