The end of freedom of expression online:

The current corporate monopolization of media and their willingness to become the arbiters of left wing thought is starting to look more and more like some of the dystopian future novels. What is interesting is most of those novels predict a right wing monopoly of media thought control.

 

I think this is serious, Google has unrivaled control of internet access and now will arbitrarily decide what content we can see. Alternatives are marginal and the decision on what should be censored is a very slippery slope. Now we can all agree on pedophilia and nazism, nativism reasonably follows, but lefties (like those who run Google) have decried as "fascists" folks who want to limit immigration and more carefully screen Muslims, they apply that epithet to those who advocate gun rights, how long before the views of deplorables on anything are deemed "hate speech"? Ask a recent college graduate what was tolerated in their "safe zone" and enumerated among their "trigger warnings", these are Google's employees enforcing their censorship.

 

If Google is censoring the right why not file a class action lawsuit???

 

Need some very deep pockets as you will need the funds to go to the SCOTUS. Google is based within the 9th circus which means they will uphold this for the sake of social justice.

Don't use Google.

 

Google is a true monopoly and is doing everything possible to divert from and cover up the EXTREME racism and sexism of Google's hiring practices. Only 5% of Google's employees are black or Latino combined and Google hires men more than 2 to 1 over women.

At the same time, Google will fire anyone who mentions this and tries to pretend it is for equality, when it is the most white male supremacist corporation in the USA by far.

 

Google got hit with a $3 billion dollar monopoly judgment in the EU.

Google is RIPE for a racial and sex discrimination lawsuit in hiring big time. However, Google is extremely tight with the government and every politician understands Google could destroy them. Not sure if they have that power over Federal courts.

 

VERY SERIOUS. Google controls the information flow of the most of the world now, not just the USA. Yet are considered somehow exempt from monopoly laws.

This monopoly aspect is why money is raining down on Google via advertisers. Tens of thousands of companies - large and small - have to pay Google whatever advertising rates Google demands. For many companies, the vast majority of profit just goes to Google - not the owners or employees. Amazon is becoming the same way.

Don't forget that there's left-leaning 'filth' as well, many of them traitorous subversives with a hatred of America, only they're a bit more subtle about it. Take care not to become so obsessed with the right that you forget to keep an eye on the left?

 

Companies like Cloudflare are in the background, people online don't know about their services which involve internet security, user analytics, online payments and such. The average user has no idea who protects their data when they access a site, they've never heard of the company processing their online payments, don't know what those analytics systems do with their cookies. We can't boycott Cloudfare. If you read the PJ Media article I posted at the outset, then you know companies like cloudfare are an integral part of Google's efforts to censor. Google shouldn't be threatening payments processing providers or advertisers who service sites Google deems "hateful".

I agree with EFF, I think the market should determine what content thrives or withers online, and it does! "daily Stormer is not a big site, few people go there, most would probably find it's content repugnant, so they don't amount to much, probably don't have many advertisers, generate little revenue.

These are brands and sites we all know, if you found lots of supremacists on Facebook, fascists appealing for contributions on GoFundMe or many Nazi marches streamed on Spotify, you'd go elsewhere, that's the way the market works. Yet we like to think the sites we prefer are neutral and abide by free speech principles. YouTube and all the others seem less attractive when you figure they only have strictly politically correct content -even if we prefer this content.

I expect some keen nazi business person, probably with a lone, unused testicle, will set up Nazibrowse or the likes for the unfortunates who like long term mental and spiritual suicide.
