Would that be graham or saltine?

Personally, I prefer honey graham; it's sweeter and darker. LOL BTW: I'm white and I like my meat dark on the outside and pink on inside, especially a filet mignon; but I like my politics and ethics colorless.

    Actually I'm French.

And true equal opportunity can exist if you give affirmative action to poor people for being poor. But you can't give affirmative action to black people for being black, because that's discrimination against poor Whites.

Ah, my French revolutionary, on this we will have to disagree and rely on reality to be the final judge.

    Best of wishes.

That would be revolutionary in America. In France, it's conservatism :)

Exactly. It is the 21st century already. We soon will start colonizing space. How about we agree we leave the bs and stupidity on the trash heap of history and start building a future of thinking, creative beings instead of a mob of slovenly slobs enslaving their betters so they can be addicts, racists, fascists, and alcoholics, sitting down in the middle of the street while their friends burn down the grocery store they shop at to feed their children? Sounds like a plan to me.

I'm not a conservative. I am an Individualist, which means I am a radical for lassie faire capitalism, and an admirer of Ayn Rand, and a supporter of Objectivism. Which means, I'm already in the 25th century, impatiently waiting for the rest of humanity to grow up and show up. So hurry the f**k up.

We wouldn't mind the protests if blacks accepted some responsibility for their station in life.

But they refuse to do that. And when a black person does, he or she is shunned by the rest of the black community.

So we continue this trend of ignorant protest from blacks and resentment from whites

So its OK to to be racist against poor white people, because they don't get special protection/opportunities like poor black people do? AA is a perfect example. There are no poor white only scholarships or business initiatives to hire underprivileged white applicants or use white only vendors. Or hire strictly women to executive positions or minorities, use women owned vendors...but you knew that didn't you?

If civil rights is defined by the ideals of Martin Luthern King, its basic premise was equality before the law "Judge a man by the character of his soul, not the color of his skin". However, there is evidence that in economics he at least flirted with the communist ideology of income equality and wealth redistribution. He was very altruistic and saw himself as a selfless hero sacrificing his life to get justice for his race.

I support and admire him for his stance against Jim Crow laws, mostly written by democratic legislators, and with his demand that the nation live up to the ideal of the Delcaration of Independence and its principle of "equality before the law".

However, I vehemently oppose his economic views and his stand against capitalism. Like many of the intellectuals of his time, he ignored the hundreds of millions being slaughtered by the communist, i.e., the butchering of Russia's Kulaks, the mass exodus from Cuba, the machined gunned bodies dangling from East Berlin's barbed wire fence, and Mao's Cultural Revolution slaughter of the 60 million peasant farmers in the name of catching up with the west in industrial progress.

I won't say he was evil, but I won't accept him as saint either. I don't like altruists, and don't believe self-sacrifice is a moral act--I consider it one of the most harmful self-inflected wound a human soul can commit. Still, he had his good points, but as an intellectual, and a moral crusader, I like and admire Frederick Douglas much, much, better.

This man is no Jesse Jackson, nor an Al Sharpton. What he is, is:

A true intellectual giant among men of any race or creed.

I wasn't. I strongly approved of MLK and still do. H. Rap Brown and Stokely Carmichael not so much. Not because I disagreed with their goal but rather because I thought their tactics were counter productive.
It does if you are in the process of trying to pound the cop into dust bunnies, or shooting at same.

As I said, because of the commie sympathies in the Civil Rights movement, including from MLK himself. It was shortly after MacCarthysm, and they hated revolutionary commies, rightfully so.

Nothing to do with opposing integration or opposing laws against discriminations. Nice try demonizing whites on that, not on my watch.

    https://ropercenter.cornell.edu/pub...-reflections-on-the-civil-rights-act-of-1964/

Equality of opportunity is about making any kind of racial discrimination illegal.

Equality of outcome is about forcing race quotas. Which is racial discrimination itself.

The two are incompatible. It's either one or the other.

The only opinionated nonsense here is you failing to grasp this concept, as well as the direct link between equality of outcome and Communism.

Have no argument? Make baseless insults and throw tantrums. Worked so well for your kind in the past, didn't it?

All is wrong. To base reward on skin color is racism, on economic status, class envy, on gender, stupidity, I abhor all. It is important to remember, it is immoral to use immoral means to fight immorality.

You are on the margin of failure, not because of blacks, but because of your own failing.

Your comments above are ignorant, unsupported, and unAmerican.

AltLightPride has made baseless comments above about CR and the movement.

Most whites, rightfully, came to approve it.

They despised the infiltration of govt agencies and private groups like the KKK and the JBS and the White Citizens Councils, with their shootings and bombings and arsons, into the anti-CRs movement.

They lost then. They will lose even more bigly now.

They are insulting the flag and the anthem for effect. The effect is it pisses people off at which point those people also use their right to free speech.

No, they are insulting the buttholes of America who won't do the the American way of truth and justice for all.

They are using the anthem and flag to tell those buttholes, "You are all ****ing failures and you need to cure your evil ways."

I know you wished your were worthy, whereas I am and have been all of my life.

I don't blame others. I just succeed. While you cry you are need and it is the "others" that are holding you back.

    The voice of humanity speaks. Well, it is really the few who create the future; not the blubber of the masses. I don't expect much from humanity;

"Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps down new roads armed with nothing but their own vision. Their goals differed, but they all had this in common: that the step was first, the road new, the vision unborrowed, and the response they received—hatred. The great creators—the thinkers, the artists, the scientists, the inventors—stood alone against the men of their time. Every great new thought was opposed. Every great new invention was denounced. The first motor was considered foolish. The airplane was considered impossible. The power loom was considered vicious. Anesthesia was considered sinful. But the men of unborrowed vision went ahead. They fought, they suffered and they paid. But they won."http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/creators.html

Because it is Man that builds the future:
