They aren't standing in stadiums with signs. They are kneeling, a pretty low key and respectful way to protest. The only baffling thing is how so many "fans" all of a sudden find this tiny symbol of protest to be the most offensive thing ever done.

 

Just deal with it America does not agree with you on this and it's about to be mandatory just like in the NBA, and MLB.

It shouldn't be baffling. The vast majority of fans (not to mention Americans) strongly believe showing respect for the symbol shows respect to the country they love and to the veterans who fought for this country, and do not like (hate??) millionaire entertainers dissing their symbol and crapping all over it. If they claim they are protesting something else other than the flag and the country, then they should go protest whatever that something else is (though it is not obvious that they know.) And they should take off their Fidel Castro shirts.

 

If a coach takes a player out of a game, he doesn't lose any money (at least not directly). If a player gets fined or suspended for taking a knee, he does.

Kind of a huge distinction there.

See this is the problem. Your position is completely silly. Before the idiot in chief shot off his idiot mouth at yet another rally (WHY is he still holding pep assemblies? I digress) the reaction to kneeling was mild disdain / annoyance. After the trump speech the reaction was foaming at the mouth outrage. This tells me that most trump loyalist are simply unable (or unwilling) to think for themselves. It also tells me that they are very easily manipulated.
