Yea. This defense needs a serious shake up. I'm thinking a trade. We need more speed on our pass rush. Hightower can't do it on his own. If this doesn't get fixed quickly, the Pats season will end with a division loss or a playoff loss. Either way, if this isn't corrected there will be no Brady 6th ring this year, for sure.

This season has gotten off to a weird start. After our bad start I'm happy my skins are at 3-2. The game against the 49ers was the strangest. My defense is bad but could improve. Cousins proved he's not just putting in time but I hope his wife hit him over the head with a nerf bat for scrambling and leading with his 100 million dollar shoulder vs sliding. I caught myself holding my breath for a moment there.

I'm cautiously optimistic at this point. Biasedly optimistic.

I wish we could afford the guy. He's a class act on and off the field.

He's a solid QB. But I'd bet my future kids tuition that he follows Shanahan to the 49ers. He molded cousins. But regardless, he's a fun guy to watch.

    Pats got the win Sunday.

But the final should've been 31-21.

(With Pats covering the -9 and the game going Over 48.5)

The Jets TD should've counted, to make it 24-21.

Then, with urgency to score a TD--The Pats would've won 31-21 (instead of phoning in that last drive knowing that they had a 7-pt. lead).

For those of you that believe in NFL/Vegas conspiracies, disallowing that Jets TD was textbook.

Vegas needed the Jets and the Under.

I think the Panthers offense isn't sustainable for the long term. Saints impressed me.

I never count out Commander Drew and that high powered offense. Except when they play the Pats

Saints gotta be odds on faves to win the NFC.

How about Tom v Drew in the SB?

    Oh wow.

It would probably be the highest Over in SB history.

Then go way Over, and end up a 48-41 kind of game.

Miami beats the Pats, whoa...I think it's a setup for playing the Steelers....can't wait to see it. Inside the NFL stole my saying...."Like butter" for great plays to the end zone.

    Any opinions on the playoffs.

    Current lines at Westgate.

    Today:

Falcons - 2.5 (A rare road fave vs Eagles).

Patriots -13.5 (Home fave vs Titans)

    Tomorrow

Pitt -7 (Home fave vs Jacksonville)

Minnesota -5 (Home fave vs Saints)

Vegas seems to think the Champ Games will be:

    AFC - Pitt at NE

    NFC - Atl at Minn

    Thoughts?

    Three team parlay:

    Atlanta -2 1/2
    Tennessee +13 1/2
    New Orleans +5

If the Steelers get past Jacksonville which I think they will in a close game, they will go up to Foxboro and finally end this Patriot streak by smacking Tom Brady around early and often while moving the ball with ease against a mediocre Patriot defense.

Steelers over Saints in the big game with Roethlisberger winning a shootout over Brees.....

    GO STEELERS!!!!
