Like Many Parts of American Life, Violent Crime Is Still Largely Segregated

Here's a graph comparing these rates:
I will say even I'm a bit surprised that the black-on-black rates and the white-on-white rates for violent crime in 2015 converged as closely to one another as they did, at least according to this report. The black-on-black rate (16.5 per 1,000) is still higher than the white-on-white (12 per 1,000), but only by a bit.

(However, keep in mind that this is strictly for nonfatal crime, not homicide.)

Hispanics are counted as white in most DOJ data.

^You can read the entire report from the link. We have been looking for this chart for some years. According to Table 1, the rate of white-on-white violent crime is 56.6% and the rate of black-on-black violent crime is 63.2%. White victims are 3.8% more likely to be victimized by black offenders (14.7%) than black victims of white offenders (10.9%). Hispanics are equally victimized by white and black offenders, 20.0% and 20.5%, respectively.

They're separated if you scroll right on table 42a. A buddy for arrested 10 years ago (he was Puerto Rican but dark) and his race was put as 'black' and ethnicity 'Hispanic'.

Would you say that 'Hispanic' blacks skew black crime stats? You're aware that 'Hispanic' isn't a race right? You're aware that 'Hispanics' cluster all over on PCA due to differing admixture, right?

The difference is that mestizos aren't white. Spaniards are white. So whites get all that mestizo drug gang crap in their data.

It’s only segregated because they chose to segregate it in their statistics. I’m sure you’d get similar results segregating by gender, age, education level, income, area of residence; probably pretty much any major diving line you care to imagine. I think there is a major danger in approaching the issue from this direction though because it presents the image (often intentionally) that race is the problem rather than the more likely reality of this being symptomatic of more fundamental divisions and issues in US society. Until you’re capable of accepting and addressing that as a nation, you will never be able to implement any really effective solutions to this kind of crime.

Spaniards really need to do some better marketing, most people don't differentiate like you do...

I live in Colorado. The difference is usually very easy to spot.

    Spaniards ?

    Very easy ?

Surely you jest, many of my blood relatives are Spaniards and it is not easy to tell anything about them as they are White, and can pass for Swiss, Italian, German, Greek, Armenian, Jews, and unless they talk, you would not know if they are Russian or Polish or French and My Sister is a perfect example and speaks over 14 languages fluently.

Like the famous Armenian singer Charles Aznavour, he sings in many languages, and you could never guess where he is from just by looking at him.

I mean they are usually easy to visually discern from mestizos, though not always. Sometimes mestizo admixture is only visible in the very dark eyes which are unnatural for Europeans.
