    Regardless of Kap's original motivation:

The "Anthem Protest" has morphed into a General Protest indicating disgust with Trump's America.

It has long since jumped the shark from "Police Brutality".

I'm almost afraid to ask; what do mostly twenty year olds who have most decisions made for them by their coaches and advisors know about Trump's America. Are they aware of Rahm's Chicago and the blood bath taking place up there?

    Respectfully yes, obnoxious, no

Don't you see how degrading we are getting as a nation when people can be as obnoxious as heck and don't think there would be no repercussions?

What's the problem with saying yes sir no sir to a constable, you give respect you will get respect back, or take it up with the judge.

Oooops ... I accidentally chocked the guy to death using choke hold that was completely unnecessary, against NYPD policy and in fact banned.

    https://www.theatlantic.com/nationa...unishment-free-killing-of-eric-garner/383413/

Perhaps this cop should not have been convicted of murder but he sure as hell should have been convicted on a lesser charge.

That's funny. Stop, question, and frisk is a proactive policing tactic to reduce crime rates in high crime areas. The people stopped are acting suspiciously or fit a criminal profile for those specific areas. The law abiding people who live in those areas welcome the police and the SQF tactic because it provides security in their neighborhoods. This has nothing to do with race but has everything to do with criminal activity.

It's laughable that someone would reference a paper titled "War on Drugs Policing and Police Brutality" and present it as an unbiased source of honest analysis and information. The paper is a great example of "how to lie with statistics" which is used by the racialism industry to promote it's false narrative. I'm surprised you didn't reference Alice Goffman's book "On the Run" - 2014. I thought that was required reading for those promoting racialism. But it is a book.

The autopsy indicated that the 15 sec neck hold had nothing to do with Garner's death. But of course the medical examiner was probably a racist ??

And said poster gave you the title of a book which debunks the entire false narrative. If only the left had some initiative and curiosity and the intellectual honesty to challenge their preconceptions.

I am totally "Yes Sir" - "No Sir" when talking the the police. IMO it is stupid to behave otherwise when dealing with a control freak with a badge and a gun.

This does not change the fact that in a free society one is supposed to have the right to talk back to the police (especially when they are violating your rights) and the basic principles on which this nation was founded.

Again - I put most of the blame on bad laws which have increased the power of Gov't and Police well beyond their legitimate authority. That and a broken justice system.

Do you not understand how saying such stupid stuff totally undermines any credibility you might hope to achieve?

Well then can you please spread the message...all they do is end up going to jail or getting shot, it appears you and I on the other hand most of the time just get a warning, sent on our way or myself when younger just driven home by the cops if I had to much to drink.

Laughable nonsense ... you did not address a single statistical fact presented to you.. nor did you give any arguments or statistics from this book you keep talking about.

Aside from being logical fallacy - appeal to authority - which is really appeal to ignorance in this case as there is no evidence that this book is an authority... but even if this book was by a recognized authority you have not made any arguments from this book.

Running around crying "This book .. This book" is fallacy ... Full stop. It is not an argument for anything.

I did not say anything that was stupid. Stupidity is calling something stupid but not giving any rational for "why" you think that something is stupid.

Any fool can stand on a soapbox crying "Stupid .. Stupid ... its all stupid ... stupid, stupid, stupid".

Good. You prefer a business that exploits kids, 18-22 yr olds and uses them without paying them for large amounts of money.
    Nice scruples.

LOL .. those were the good ol days.

It is one thing to suggest that people to act rationally. It is quite another to apologize for police and Gov't misconduct and abuse of power on the basis that "people are not complying fully" "or people are questioning my authority" ... and so on.

Thinking more about my last post and yours...we have bad laws because the law breakers/ criminals make the rules..

I have been in jail.a few times in Chicago and south Carolina, the other inmates talk about the good old days when they used to serve steaks and inmates would make knifes out of the t bones

They used to have vending machines..

Or at work, you used to do be able to do this or that but one jerk employee took advantage so they had to change the rules..

Like I say repeatly in my day as a teen and twenty year old in the 1980s cops would use judgement and let us get off with a lot of things..

The people that take advantage of freedoms, the degenerates always writes the rules and laws, so I don't know how any one can blame all cops.

I'm giving you a break. Don't you see that? I'm conceding that you don't really believe what you posted.

I'm just trying to tell you that no one else is going to believe it either.

Yea but we have seen the videos on how people act to cops, we have seen people get more and more obnoxious in real life.

It would be unnecessary if the subject would simply follow directions.

    "Get down on the ground"
    "Show me your hands"
"Don't put your hands in your pockets"
    "Stop"
    "Stop resisting"
"Stay in the car with your hands up"

Is there something in those commands that the Black community simply can't understand or follow?

You absolutely have the right to "talk back" to the cops. But you don't have the right to refuse a lawful order such as "take your hands out of your pockets." And you don't have the right to get out of your car - unless ordered to do so - when you are pulled over. When the cop says "show me your hands" show the cop your damn hands. Pretty simple. Even a public school dropout should be able to figure that one out.

That said, the sidewalk or side of the road may not be the best venue in which to air your grievance. If you are going to jail, you are going to jail... or you are going to endanger yourself and those around you if you think going to jail is just for other people.

And you can absolutely be a threat when running away - I've demonstrated it many times in live fire exercises myself. A pistol beneath the armpit is difficult to spot and easy to fire. I've hit my share of targets in this manner.

Are there bad cops? Of course. Are there racist cops? Of course. But the majority are honorable public servants who are the first people you'll want to see when you are in trouble.

You and your fellow travelers are unwilling to admit that a person's behavior is the primary factor determining the outcome of a law enforcement interaction. Sad, too, how many black lives that are supposed to matter would be saved if you would just teach the young thugs to behave like civilized people and stop trying to be a big man wit da po po.

The operative phrase being "arrested 13 times."

Yet the left wants to take *my* guns because they are unwilling to remove bad actors from our society. **** them.
