Then don't support Republicans, they're the ones trying to force women to gestate, close clinics where women can get safe , affordable, accessible birth control and abortions, deny them access to birth control through their health insurance, take away women's right to their own bodies and make them brood sows..

In slavery children were taken away from their parents and given to other people....that's what you're proposing.

You DID indicate that there is a big pool of wealthy people who want MILLIONS of poor children to raise when you suggested that as a solution.

With the history of the world to back me up , the poor are not going to stop reproducing...obviously.

I agree, they should, but "should" just don't mean much in the real world.

No problem, but if paid by the taxpayers it should include a hysterectomy also at no cost.

Maybe government needs to fund a study to determine how women get pregnant and find ways it can be prevented.

Passing on genes. Teaching your life experiences to someone you brought into the world. Hopefully bringing a better life in the world than one's own.
There are 1000s of reasons for having a child.
That you need to even ask such a question, disqualifies you. And means nothing you say on the topic should be considered anything but baseless dribble.

Yes, that's a way to lessen the burden of the rich. Make them pay for children for 22 years.

    1. That's quite a spin, but nothing at all to do with what I said.

    2. I indicated no such thing, but if you feel government should place the responsibility on the wealthy to pay the costs of raising children of the poor, then they should also place the child directly under their care and perhaps they would be raised to be more responsible than their parents.

    3. That appears to be the case, so what if we simply ceased funding the problem?

    4. Sometimes force is the only viable motivator.

    A. Abortions aren't paid for by taxpayers....that's just a part of the Anti-Choicers crap that has been debunked a thousand times over.

    B. Why should a woman, or ANYONE, have to pay for a legal medical procedure by getting another medical procedure?

    C. Even when young women want hysterectomies doctors will not do them without what they consider a good reason and not having children is not acceptable to doctors....go convince THEM!

You did. Just take the babies and children from poor people and give them to the rich people. Like a piece of property.
Slavery was ownership of another human being. Exactly what you're calling for. Some rich people to take ownership of some poor people's kids.
You shouldn't take anyone seriously here. If is far above in pay grade.

To answer the OP question, if it was me who was aborted I don't think I would complain near as much as those who weren't aborted.

Uh, I think everyone knows how women get pregnant......don't give the Repubs any more dumb ideas on how to waste our money...Hey, weren't YOU just whining about spending taxpayer's money???

Pregnancy can be prevented many ways, not all are safe or 100% reliable....and

NO one is under any obligation to use them.

Ya, it's exactly what you said, take away poor children from their parents...

Please explain why wealthy people would agree or should agree to such stupidity as handing them a child to raise????????
What funding did you want to stop? WIC, SNP,Welfare..social programs that feed and care for poor children....end them?

    Force isn't a motivator...it's slavery.

HOW do you FORCE wealthy people to RAISE other people's children?????? And WHY should they???

Then by your way of thinking, having a baby is the same a producing a slave if the child is considered property of the parents. Perhaps we should start prosecuting those who produce a child as we have long ago abolished slavery in the U.S.

Rather than give the government more power, just reduce their power to force the financial burden onto others. More kids should equal more work.

Any idea how to accomplish that? I suspect the next 80 odd years are going to change for the worse much more than the previous.
At what point does more become enough?

Wow...what compassion. I work with poor kids whose parents hold two jobs ...but to people like you, the assumption is poor people are lazy. ....but I’m sure you don’t see the bigotry. Yes, they should all go to college , what’s $20,000 . (Sarcasm alert)

Yeah, let’s sterilize women.....just like they did the slaves.
    How about forced vasectomies?

    1. You tell me.

    2. And even the one child policy didn't seem to work, did it? But in the case of China many people needed more than one child to be able to exist in an agrarian environment, which is not so much the case in the U.S. today.
