For whom? They go to the same crappy schools with the same crappy teachers so it's no the school systems, so why do blacks fail where Asian Americans excel?

The kids have to stay in school and want to learn, that takes concerned parents behind them.....Asian immigrants and their children are a prime example. Most Vietnamese immigrants come to the U.S. dirt poor and end up going to some of Southern California's worst schools, living in the worst neighborhoods and still excel. One only need look at their family structure and culture to find the answer.

 

You seem to promote equality for some but not for all. I think we should have equal representation for all groups in all industries. You disagree because for some reason you want to maintain ethnic supremacy for certain groups in certain places.

Which is why the discrimination against “black men” is so fundamentally flawed. And even if on an individual case the racist won’t have a specifically negative reaction to his, the general discrimination can still impact him and certainly will have done when he was younger. The reality is that a young black man in shorts and t-shirt is still highly unlikely to do you any harm. Even if a disproportionate number of black people (or even just young black men) cause trouble, it remains true that the vast, vast majority of all people won’t. Recognising actual threats and risks is perfectly normal and justified. Using skin colour as any kind of significant factor in that decision, especially as a conscious one, is irrational.

 

There's a huge prejudice against pit bulls. Anyone who has ever owned one will tell you that it is completely undeserved

 

I'm aware of the prejudice towards the breed, and aware that many feel it's undeserved. Individually, I'm sure this is true.
Still- pit bulls were bred to be a fighting dog, and many people today are still treating and training them as such. From time to time, dogs escape from these irresponsible owners and maul people. In my own city, I would say this has happened perhaps 5 times in the last 10 years. Among dog attacks here, this breed tops the list as the most dangerous, and that does not go unnoticed. I have no doubt that the owner is mostly responsible for the character of the bad dogs in this respect. Our local laws come down pretty hard on such owners, as they should.

But that said, the very fact that pit bulls were bred to violence and have the tools to do it intimidates people. If the average person sees a pit bull on the loose, they don't call the dog- they call the police or dog catcher.

This points out that the group you are part of earns it's own reputation. It doesn't mean all who are part of the group fit the reputation, which is the case here- but the point is true.

In addition, LIKE JEWS, Asians invest HEAVILY in their childrens education, and encourage making the most of that investment.

I'll just put it like this - imagine a black man dressed like a mormon, and a white man dressed like a gangster. Who is going to elicit more of a negative response?

Most racists I've talked to actually talk more about stats than anything else. Like they believe blacks are a problem because of crime data, etc. Recently on discord I've talked to outright fascists who have nothing to lean on but generalized metadata. The answer is simply to point out that race isn't a causal relation in the metadata.

Just listen and respond calmly and factually - bitter arguments don't change minds. If you want to be a part of the solution, politely discuss things with those who radically disagree with you - being a bitter ******* about it just solidifies divisions and hatreds. I recently convinced an outright racist fascist that race isn't really important - but I've never seen someone swayed by insults.

I never said racism doesn't exist, you are trying to prove what is already a known fact. However, you also want to make what little of it is left into a slavery time frame crisis, like nothing else matters. That makes your argument meaningless. The world is moving- you want it to stop and talk about your problem.

ALL of us have been discriminated against. I was small for my age as a kid, and took crap over it for many years. So now, I should be entitled to some kind of justice, some reparations for being discriminated over smaller stature.??? Whine about it forever, be a victim the world owes an apology too??
No. I grew up, took my place, proved myself, earned respect. If I wrote down all the reasons I had been discriminated against in life, it would be a lot longer than this post; and some of them hurt me deeply. Life isn't perfect.

Most black people all over the country have done just as I did- moved on, did not allow that to define them, became good people who just happen to be black rather than making their color their excuse for bad behavior. You are promoting the last kind. To me- that makes you a promoter of racism. Honest black people don't need that, they would like to just be people.

There comes a point where enough is enough, and we are long past it when it comes to making racial discrimination an offense beyond all others.
