How would you describe a person dumb enough to be working for a boss who steals from them? An intelligent person would quit, call the police, and find a new job with a boss who didn't steal from them.

actually lots of people make $ 200K 300K 400k etc. If you don't you should ask yourself why. why not improve your value in the market place rather than wasting time ranting here like a libcommie lunatic?

Also the workers can't afford to have a place to live. They have to share apartments with other workers and to live somewhere far and waste a lot of time every day only for commuting. They can't afford proper education and health care.
But that's not because of the capitalism. That's because the system is a criminal system, supporting speculation in certain sectors of the economy and allowing the outsourcing of the jobs in the poor countries.

My boss is stealing about 1,000 Euros from me, every single month. He is also underpaying my co-workers too. Say thank you to Barack Obama, George Bush, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, David Cameron, Sarkozy, Merkel, Rajoy, Zapatero, Berlusconi, the leaders of the worker unions etc etc etc - the scumbags who are exporting the jobs in China, increasing the job insecurity in their countries. The workers are afraid to change their jobs and to fill complaints, because their jobs are highly volatile these days.

Also say thank you to the corrupt governments who refuse to properly inspect the workplaces to see if they respect the regulations, allowing the company owners to abuse their workers undisturbed.

total BS of course the poor in the USA live in bigger apartments than the middle class in France. If you don't earn 100k you should blame yourself not the system.

And they all kept the corruption under control and they enforced competition.
On the other hand, all the poor capitalist countries are plagued by corruption and anti-competition practices.
Therefore the cause of the problems is in the corruption.

It doesn't matter how you call it. Those seeds are clearly showing that we need a mix of capitalism and socialism.

That improvement in the 19th century was necessary in order to attract the workers to the cities and to develop the industry and it didn't come from much interest to improve their lives.
The weakest point of the Communist bloc was that they were extremely incompetent in their propaganda. They just had to make a movie like "The power principle" and that would have convinced a lot of people about the true nature of the Western countries.

That's the usual lies of the miserable clownish economists. If the demand is at that level, then it will only create that amount of jobs, no matter how much you are investing.
If they want to create jobs, then they have to simply keep the jobs in the country, instead of outsourcing them in China. No matter how much money you print (Quantitative Easing) and how many investments you make, as long as the consumers buy things made in China, the jobs will stay in China. In Finland for example, if you sell things to a company, they will ask you if they are produced locally, because they are aware that they need to keep the jobs in the country. So the average company owners and the workers have to actually do the job of the government.

    I completely agree with this

But this is a complete error. The capitalism doesn't have to grow. The 28 millions of small businesses in the USA are happy to stay small and to make a living. There is always need for barber shops and grocery stores and many other small stores. Just keep the jobs in the country, enforce competition and tax the super-rich in order to return to the workers the money they were stealing from the workers for decades.

No, the companies like Panasonic, Sony, Canon, Cisco and many others don't need to grow. They are extremely happy if they can maintain their market share. I would like to ask you what kind of indications you have that the capitalism has to grow? The claim that it has to grow in order to create enough jobs? That's a clear lie - you should not believe in it.
Just keep the jobs in the country by applying protectionism - if you make one million jobs in the rest of the world by importing goods from them, then the rest of the world has to create one million jobs in your country by importing stuff from you. If they fail to do that, then increase the taxes on their goods, so they will sell less in your country, and then you create less jobs for them too, restoring the balance.
In the worst case, give to all the unemployed some of land so they can live from agriculture.
There are not enough jobs in the country because:
    - the jobs are outsourced to China
    - the system allows speculation, so the consumer pay for overpriced housing, education and health care, so they have little money to spend on other things, to create jobs
    - the super-rich are paying very low taxes, keeping the money hooked and preventing the population to have it and to use it to buy things and to create jobs

And that's wonderful. Those who are not competitive enough should go and to other things, where they are good at. The winning company will acquire the market of the failing one, and it will hire it's workers (you need more workers in order to produce more).

All the companies win and lose a lot of battles. After losing a battle, once you develop a better product, you win a new battle. The investors have quite advanced ways to measure the chances of success, and they have a vast experience, they know it's not the brightest idea to refuse a company simply because they lost a battle.

They do compete for growth. But that doesn't mean you can't survive if you don't grow. There are plenty of barber shops out there to prove you wrong. They also compete with other barber shops yet they almost never grow. There are plenty of small, family businesses that survived for decades and centuries:
Since the mid-1990s, research by O’Hara and his associate Peter Mandel has provided the foundation for two of this magazine’s most popular features: “America’s Oldest Family Companies”. You want to give more chances to the small companies to endure? So increase the taxes for the big companies! Positive discrimination in favor of the small companies.

So stop nuking your workers by outsourcing jobs into China. No more price reduction by working the people to death in China. Also no more nuking of your own workers.

    - also the reverse of it - the administration breaking AT&T (Bell System) into seven companies

Spending too much on all those things implies overpricing your goods.

You don't have to be better than your competition. You just have to make sure you stay at the same level. And to also customize your products for the taste of your consumers. There are a lot of consumers out there buying more expensive and less quality stuff, just because it has a certain label or because the products have a certain artistic touch.
Small companies also have their own captive customers. There are plenty of examples of famous companies losing market share and then having a spectacular comeback after a long time - link
So the capitalist system does not depend on growth. It's about survival by keeping a market share - enough to keep your business afloat. Fluctuations are absolutely normal - because change is in the very essence of evolution. But the capitalist system does depend on enforcing competition and on keeping the jobs in the country. by keeping the trade deficit close to zero.

It doesn't make sense to reduce the work hours to 5 hours per week, just to make sure that everyone has jobs. That's a comical solution. What you do when you automatize almost everything? You give to everybody a job for 10 minutes per week? How extremely short the kurtzarbeit can become?
This is simple like in a family where the man can produce everything for his wife and kids. You want to reduce the working hours of the man in order to give jobs to his woman and to his children just to keep them busy? Let the woman and the children do something useful / inspiring instead: painting, sculpture, music, editing Wikipedia etc.
Increasing automation and sending many workers into unemployment means a dramatic reduction of costs and that means you will sell your goods much cheaper. Therefore the buying power of the basic income will increase. The people will have a very good life by living from the basic income. But instead of giving them a basic income for doing nothing, give them things to do in education, research, exploration etc.
If one worker produces everything 100 people need, you can actually share what the worker produces with the others and the most efficient way to do it is proper taxing. If the worker produces 100 apples per day, then he pays 99 apples in taxes, to distribute them to the rest - and then everyone has one apple per day. That's much more efficient than having each one producing one apple per day. Use the enormous power of the 99 people to create really useful things, instead of asking them to only do a job that takes 10 minutes per day.
That 99% tax is actually a monopoly tax. Regulated monopolies. A royalty paid for the licence to operate a business that actually must have a benefit for the community, like any other economic activity.
How do you know how if you have to increase the taxes and the exact value of the tax (in %)? Extremely easy: just measure the % of the workforce that's not employed by the private sector. That's the combined number of the people working for the government, the people getting unemployed help, and the people living from welfare or from basic income (these ones should be all be employed by the government anyways). If their number is 70% of the workforce, then the taxes must be 70%. That's simple arithmetic anyways: if 30% of the people produce all the products the whole population needs, that means they have to share 70% with the ones not involved in that production - these are not people who just sit and do nothing - but they are people employed by the government.
How do you measure the efficiency of the economy? The same number - 70% tells you exactly how efficient the economy is. The more the technology is advancing, the more people are liberated from the production of goods and they can work for the stuff that really matters: education, research and exploration.
For the industries that have little benefit from the increased automatization, you can apply lower taxes. For example artists. Or tourism.

Sure, I can agree to reduce the working hours to 32 hours per week (4 days of work). But less than that doesn't make sense to me. Help the people to find their dream jobs and then you willl struggle to convince them to actually stop working, because pleasure is kind of addictive.

Wow, that's a very strange definition for a government.
The government has to protect it's country and it's people, not the rich. The people get rich because the government is helping them to get rich. When a political party wins the elections, that's called "they get into power", because they actually have the power, and they can increase or reduce the wealth inequality as they please. The most powerful economic forces are powerful simply because the government is giving them contracts and all kind of facilities. The government is the cause and the accumulation of wealth is just an effect. The administration can remove all the wealth inequality with a simple stroke of a pen. Because they actually have the power.

The underlying cause is the criminality and the corruption of the system. You have to decriminalize the administration and then it works. The capitalist countries with more corruption have worse economies. The countries with little corruption work very well (e.g. Scandinavian countries).
The vast majority of the private businesses are happy to make just a living, they are not looking for more and more profits.
This conclusion that the problem lies in private property and in private profit is nothing else than a fantasy. The communist countries have big problems without any private business - and that's because of the corruption.
If you remove the private ownership, that won't stop the abuses and the terrorism of the people in power, against their own people. By the contrary, the history shows that the effects are many times quite the opposite.
The solution is in de-criminalizing the government. Completely removing private ownership or money or government are nothing else than hocus-pocus solutions: Abracadabra.

You talk about those socialists who are nuking the workers very hard? Insane and hysterical fanatics who love George Soros, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama for sending the jobs into China, for protecting speculation, for increasing corruption, for giving trillions to criminal bankers and so on?
The corruption increased because the super-rich increased it. And that's because the population is voting with any miserable bloodsucker or clown who labels himself capitalist or socialist.

This is nothing else than Abracadabra.
Most of the time, the communists abuse and terrorize their own people more than the West.
Therefore your solution is to replace the criminals in power who claim to be capitalists with other criminals who label themselves "communists". Quite a catastrophical solution.
And that's exactly what the super-rich people want: they want the people like you to believe in ideologies with miraculous and magical healing properties and to blame other ideologies and to blame and to hate each others, and even to kill each others if possible. In a civil war, nobody is touching the super-rich, as all the sides regard them somehow as a source of stability. The good old principle: Divide and rule.

Your solution is exactly what the super-rich people want: to collapse the economy and the administration in order to emerge as the heroes who save the population from chaos.

If you want an egalitarian community or a communist or an anarchist community, then build it: follow the example of the Amish and the Mennonites and build a community that works, step by step. From all the millions of communists out there, you can't find even one to agree to put one dollar each, in order to start building their desired communities. They all follow the Marxist/Leninist/Stalinist/Trotskyist dream: to find some criminal and to put him in power, in order to solve all their problems.
They believe that the removal of private property will somehow magically remove any corruption, abuse and incompetence from the system.

    Gentlemen,

This is a lot of arguing over the simplest of solutions. Cut spending by 5% until you are no longer outrageously spending money to buy votes. The government should only cost 5% of our income or if you prefer, 5% of the gross national product.

Next ban the government from Interfering in the marketplace. In other words, laissez-faire capitalism. What that means is: set men’s minds free from the government’s gun—a mind cannot operate under forced compulsion.

Let’s start to respect the rights of the individual. Let’s return to the principles of our founding fathers which were capitalism and the pursuit of happiness. If we do this, we will have a cure for cancer in two years, we will be colonizing mars, we will have untold riches that no one hasn’t even dreamed of yet, and they will make this age that we live in look like the dark ages.

Thank you gentlemen. One last thing: we need a constitutional amendment that prohibits the government from interfering in the marketplace. In essence, just like a free nation must have a separation of church and state, so do we need a separation of the marketplace and the government.

Let’s honor those who died for liberty and start fighting for it once again By standing by the principles of the men who created this great nation. There number one principal was the love of reason, and that is why they chose individual rights, capitalism, and a constitutional republic to protect the rights of the minority. And remember the smallest minority is you, the individual.

Again, thank you and have a wonderful Christmas and a good new year

I provided plenty of evidence that it's correct. The people in power in the USA are not only corrupt and criminals, but they are actually satanic mass murderers. Link1
For your convenience, another summary of the corruption, criminality and satanism in the USA and in the West:
    - Legalizing tax fraud (tax havens) and corruption (lobby). Solution: tax the super-rich in order to reverse the wealth inequality and to pay the public debt - stop legalizing corruption.
    - Providing a safe haven to the biggest criminals in the world (Rifaat al-Assad)
    - Providing a safe haven to all the drug lords, organized crime leaders and corrupt politicians from all over the world who save their money in the Western banks
    - Helping the biggest organized crime leader in the world (Bill Clinton's presidential pardon for Marc Rich)
    - Dragging the populations of the poor countries in bigger and bigger misery using IMF and WB. The corrupt politicians in those countries are getting money in return for nuking their own people at the request of the bankers and of the "finance experts".
    - Nuking the workers very hard by outsourcing the jobs into China and all over Asia. Solution: keep the jobs in country. If you create one million jobs in the rest of the world by imports, then the rest of the world also has to create one million jobs in your country. Fair trade.
    - Bringing millions of immigrants in the country. Those immigrants will not find jobs (the jobs are in China) and the workers will have to pay bigger and bigger taxes, in order to feed the immigrants.
    - Increasing the public debt at an accelerated rate. Then the super-rich will drag the population in bigger and bigger misery, to pay that debt. It works the same at a personal level. At a fixed average income, if you make debts to support a job that produces nothing for an entire year, that means that for the next five years, you have to pay 20% of your incomes in order to pay that debt. That means programming increased poverty for yourself for five years of your future life.
    - Allowing speculation and anti-competitive practices on the market with housing, education and sanitation until they get out of reach for the workers. Today, the real estate owners are encouraged to refuse to rent vital space needed for urbanization in order to artificially increase the price They get a licence from the public for owning that space, and therefore licence should not be used against the public interest. The speculation is a completely anti-capitalistic practice since it's the opposite of competition.
    - Supporting Saddam when he was committing genocide against the Kurdish people
    - Supporting a large numbers of mass killings all over the world: Indonesia, East Timor, Guatemala, Iraq, Latin America
    - Creating artificial conflicts, those conflicts created in order increase the military expenses in order to drain the taxpayer money and to prevent their use for public health, education and housing (for example the artificial conflict with Russia)
    - Developing insane public infrastructure - the public debt is increasing in no small part because the administration invests in overpriced and inefficient public infrastructure. "Unfortunately "modernist" planners in the 1950s-1960s totally screwed over zoning in the USA making it massively, stupidly car-centric - here's a good video explaining it - Andres Duany New Urbanism Lecture"
    - The corruption is spiraling out of control - the public health is too expensive because corrupt administration officers are siphoning the tax payer money.

They did break the Bell companies, some decades ago.

They always executed the orders of the super rich. For a while, the super-rich wanted the population to have a good life - mainly because they had a strong competitor in the Soviet Union. Now, without a competitor, the super-rich are gradually growing the corruption and the criminality of the system. That's all.

That's because the super-rich arealways doing their best to confuse the people and to shut down their vigilance.
    - They pay armies of clownish economists to tell you that you always have to increase poverty in order to improve the economy. They use complicated and confusing language, to make the people believe that economy is beyond their comprehension and to believe that the system knows best how to manage the economy.
    - They create a lot of distractions like sports, stupid TV shows and TV series like "Mythical warriors of the Epic Empire" to keep the people's attention away from the real issues in the society.
    - They always try to destroy the moral values of the people and to put them into a passive state, because such people will easily accept abuses. They teach the people to be more greedy, selfish, unfair, depraved, abusive and self pleasing. The "American Dream" for example is just a part of that. It's enough to open the TV in order to learn how important is to be greedy and selfish and to think like a genuine bloodsucker.

But they loved him so much when he was playing a disgusting clownery with his idiotic show "The Apprentice".
In any case, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are a million times worse. Because miserable puppets of the satanic super-rich are far worse than a ridiculous clown.
Clinton wanted to export as many jobs in China, to get more money from the poor to give to the rich (bailouts, Quantitative Easing, easier tax fraud), to increase the speculation and overpricing of basic necessities, to bring millions of immigrants and to drag the workers into deeper misery in order to feed those immigrants, to accelerate the growth of the public debt and to help the super-rich to collapse the system maybe even in 2018, in order to come with the solution of a world currency.

You mean you would sign a petition against legalizing tax fraud (tax havens)? Or another one against lobbying? Or another one to ask the government to stop the speculation in the private housing, education and sanitation? Or another one to stop providing a safe heaven to all the drug lords, organized crime leaders and corrupt politicians from all over the world? Or another one to ask the government to implement cheap and affordable public housing like in Austria?
Or maybe you would be interested to put money together with other leftists and build cheap housing yourselves and save some workers from the speculation and doing it again next month, showing that you can actually build solutions even when you are not in power? Or even for buying land and other means of production and building cooperatives and building functional leftist communities like the Amish and the Mennonites are doing?

Or maybe you mean that you simply want a magical solution like "let's increase the public debt in order to improve the economy" and to vote for some other miserable "leftist" like Obama or Clinton?

The Amish and the Mennonites (and Jesus) prove beyond any doubt that you don't need any heroes to come and to save the people. The people just need to get together to build their egalitarian communities, like the Amish people do.

Or by building it, step by step, like the various communities out there. But it seems that such things simply don't have the spectacular taste she and you are looking for.

That's exactly what Jesus said - to build that - by using actions - instead of trying to climb into power by using spectacular and bombastic speeches. The Amish and the Mennonites understood that and they prove that it works. While the majority of the people are still looking for sensational solutions.

The people in the Eastern bloc had quite a happy life. Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Yugostlavia. Hungary was the happiest socialist/communist country.

Wonderful words. But how about some actions for a change? Because the solutions come from actions not by vibrating air using the oral cavity (words).

For the moment your are doing a fantastic job for the super-rich:
    - you please yourself by convincing yourself that you are a hero, that you are above others
    - you ignore the most basic reality facts: that the functional communities can be actually built, step by step
    - you believe in ideologies infused with magical properties and you try to promote such outlandish solutions
    - you want Messiahs (heroes) to come and to save the country

But you can raise your voice against all those abuses. You can join others like you to build functional communities, like the Mennonites do. Together, your voice will be stronger. Grow those communities, make them work and then you will have more and more power.
There are millions of leftists like you who complain about the same things that you are complaining, yet they never move a finger to get together and to build better communities.
What's wrong with them? Maybe reading too much Karl Marx, an "intelligent" person who never understood that egalitarian communities exist since centuries before he was born and that such communities can be build by replicating all the good stuff in them?
The communism exists. The egalitarian communities exist. The fair and prosperous societies with mixed capitalism and socialism exist and existed. They just wait for the people like you to actually start doing something to make it happen.

Like for example the freedom to be worked to death? The freedom to live in bigger and bigger misery?

    - USA farm workers: The average life expectancy of migrant and seasonal farm workers is 49 years of age, in comparison to the U.S. average of 75 years of age - Wikipedia - United Farm Workers - History:
Today, thousands of farm workers live under savage conditions--beneath trees and amid garbage and human excrement--near tomatoe fields in San Diego County, tomatoe fields which use the most modern farm technology.
Vicious rats gnaw on them as they sleep. They walk miles to buy food at inflated prices. And they carry in water from irrigation pumps.
Child labor is still common in many farm areas.
As much as 30 percent of Northern California's garlic harvesters are under-aged children. Kids as young as six years old have voted in state-conducted union elections since they qualified as workers.
Some 800,000 under-aged children work with their families harvesting crops across America. Babies born to migrant workers suffer 25 percent higher infant mortality than the rest of the population.
Malnutrition among migrant worker children is 10 times higher than the national rate.
Farm workers' average life expectancy is still 49 years --compared to 73 years for the average American.

Or maybe you mean the 2013 Savar building collapse ?
Or the capitalist exploitation of the children in the cocoa production?

That's why the people had such a good life in East Germany, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia and Hungary?

That's why the government is paying $113 billions per year to the private companies for research?
That's why the nutritionist scientists are telling lies about the sugar for five decades, because the private system is so efficient and beneficial? - Sugar industry bought off scientists, skewed dietary guidelines for decades, 13 September 2016, Beth Molem, Ars Technica

Without a government to regulate monopolies, to enforce competition and to act against other unfair practices, the capitalism is a pure nonsense, just like in the third world countries.

    Examples:
    - Price fixing cases
    - Largest pharmaceutical settlements
    - Breakup of the Bell System

The capitalism worked so fine until a decade ago because the government was doing it's job to keep the economic agents under control.

    Ohh, great!
Now the solution is to allow the shameless speculators to increase the prices of housing, education and sanitation even more! With the price of a small studio at 50,000 Euros, maybe I can buy one in 20 years. So let's allow the bloodsuckers to raise the price to 500,000 Euros, and then I need to work 200 years in order to be able to buy one.

You respect the people by allowing speculation, off-label marketing, working people to death, reducing wages to peanuts, allowing abuses at the workplace and outsourcing the jobs out of the country?

    No, thanks.

Even though we almost always disagree, I must say that this is completely true. In a free country, the leftists can actually build their communities where they own their workplaces. The Amish and the Mennonites are the best proof for that. Nothing stops the millions of leftists to put one dollar each per month, and to buy land and other means of production and to build their own communities, where they are the owners of the means of production.
But today, the vast majority of the leftists are nothing else than hordes of hysterical, aggressive, violent, hateful, depraved and insane individuals who are doing their best to nuke the working class very hard.
By the way, I wonder how many times more drugs the leftists consumed today, comparing with the rightists in the USA? I wouldn't be surprised if the proportion is something like 5:1
It would be very interesting to see such statistics :)

If you make an average between all the capitalist countries, then the capitalism almost never worked. In the vast majority of the countries in this world, the capitalism doesn't work and those countries are plagued by corruption, criminality, incompetence and poverty.

That's true but you support a criminal system labeled as "capitalist", a system that is keeping billions of people in deep misery and starvation - by using IMF and WB. The vast majority of them live decades less than a normal human life, because of all those hardships - and because of the included starvation too. The system you are defending is slowly starving billions of people in the third world countries to death.

You know someone isn't going to compose rational economic comment when they blubber on about leftists. The variability in heterodox political economy makes a mockery of your effort.

You want an easy fix? Tax the super-rich and pay all that debt. That debt is made because the housing, education and health care are overpriced by shameless speculators anyways. So get their money and return it to their victims.
But the leftists religiously believe that the market has some magical properties that can be broken by interfering in the market. Shall I call it the cult of non-interference? Or maybe better the cult of protecting the shameless speculators and of the anti-competitive practices?

    - But the leftists refuse to interfere in the market so they allow the speculators to overprice the education
    - They refuse to stop the outsourcing of the jobs to China. If they would stop it, those high-school graduates can actually find a job to, so they can eventually pay a higher education
    - They refuse to tax the rich who save their money in the tax havens, to return the money stolen from the working class, so the lucky ones who find a job won't have enough money to pay for higher education

Instead, the leftists want to increase the public debt in order to pay for the free education, and that means dragging the workers (the very people who can't afford higher education now) into bigger misery, for paying all that enormous debt.

I am free man of reason living in an unfree nation that is being lead toward a religious dictatorship that will be fascist under a socialist banner. In a free nation, religion has no place in politics. If a religious man has an idea that he believes will make each of us better and free, he must argue his ideas based on reason, not faith. Faith and force are kissing cousins. The religious have no rights that supersede mine as an atheist. They have no right to use force to convert me to their way. I will never forget nor let anyone else forget, that it was men of faith that flew jets into beautiful creative buildings built by the principles of logic, science, and reason, and that is specifically why the twin towers were attacked. They were designed and built by heroic men of reason.

And yes, morally, I am above some, and there are some above me, Ayn Rand, Copernicus, Leonard Peikoff, Yaron Brook, Jonas Salk, most of the soldiers in Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, and other horrible and ugly places.

Man's only hope is that Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism becomes the dominant force in the culture, by choice, not by force. And based on premise that the good always wins because its the true, Objectivism will win out, but not in my life time. Nor is it a guarantee, because men have free will and they can always chose the irrational. However, that does not appear to be the case so much with western man as it is the mystical crackpots of the east.

And lastly, I love the super rich. They are why I have a computer, smart phone, centralized heat and ac, big screen HD TV, food when ever I want it, and a cruise on Valentine's Day as an anniversary present, and I'm not even upper middle class. I bring home about $32,000/year. So yes, I love the super rich, and thank goodness for the benevolence of a universe where such men can exist. And yes, I am a hero because I fight for truth, justice, liberty, and reason against the majority of the world that's gone completely mad. What else would a man rather be? Wicked, insane, and evil, or a hero who fights for the truth and the good?
    Your life, your choice.

You mean you love the innovator, typically funded by the public sector...

To Blizzard: I'm sorry, your are either insane, or one of the biggest liars I have ever met. East Germany was prosperous vs West Germany? That's like saying the earth is flat and reality isn't real.
I will have no further contact with you. You've made your choice, I've made mine. I'll let reality decide who is right and who is wrong.

Good luck and best of wishes,

But that is not what Blizzard described, which is what I identified as not being capitalism. He didn't mention anything about private ownership of the means of production for private profit. He just spewed some silly nonsense about companies competing to offer the best products at the lowest prices, while paying the highest wages.
My preference has nothing to do with it. That's what capitalism is by definition. But it is NOT what he described in his previous post, and which I correctly stated was not capitalism.
But it is not what he described, which I identified as not being capitalism.

    Oh, but I do.
    Oxymoron. Literal non-sense.
That is socialism. The workers throw off nothing. They are just poorer.
Another oxymoron. Such oxymorons are intended to prevent coherent thought, literally in the mode of what Orwell so acutely termed, "doublethink."
No, YOU are wrong. Socialism is by definition collective ownership of the means of production, not worker control thereof.

Why do you persist in your infantile claims that I am "afraid" to name this or that fact, when you know that every time you have made that claim, I have done exactly what you have so dishonestly claimed I was "afraid" to do?

I can't be sure which country might be "the best" example, but good examples would certainly include Pakistan, the Philippines, Guatemala, Paraguay, Bangladesh, Haiti, and even Russia.

That claim is just baldly false.
Such research as is done in the USA is often paid for by NIH grants, not pharma corps, with the results then given away and patented for private corporate profit.
Don't be ridiculous. You couldn't exist in the same room with a post-doc researcher unless you were waiting their table.
No she didn't. And if she did, she was most certainly wrong.

No, it is fact, and you cannot refute even one single sentence of it.
I.e., you refuse to know facts when they prove your beliefs are false and evil. Thought so.
